Do not sorrow over an imperfection, because when they fix that your treasure will be unique. (I do believe these first batches of 'new' pens comes from their old treasure trove.)

I love that they offer a cartridge converter version with the thick grip section. That's a very rare combo. The vast majority of pens with a thick grip are pistons, which I don't like, because they're inconvenient to clean. With that said, I'm waiting for them to retro the Oversize version with number 8 nib. More colors would be welcome, like your all orange one. I've also seen vintage white and red versions that look nice, as well.

Hi David! Thank you for the time and care you take with all the reviews. One suggestion: when showing the dimensions of the pen please increase the time (by 2 or 3 seconds) the length specifications plays. The weight display's time is fine but there is more information on the length one and I find it hard to get through it all before the video moves on to the next portion. I fully realize that since this is on RUclips I can easily pause the display or rewind. This is not a criticism nor is it intended to be offensive in any way. It's just my personal opinion and I hope you're ok with it. Have a great day and I look forward to your next review!

Classic pen from Delta. I may be on the minority but I do not like the black and orange. Other than that it is a nice pen. The 39+1 model is gorgeous.

I bought a very early offered one of these "revival" pens from Atlas Stationers at least a couple months ago. Mine says DOLCEVITA, mid-size, on the back of the cap (not DV) and the # before the "Italy" above the band is actually higher than on yours (by a lot: 36817 to your 0367), the 925 on the silver is right side up, and the brushing on the cap medallion is aligned straight with the logo. Not sure what that all means, if anything, but all the differences seem for the better. Might mine actually be new old stock?

The older Deltas were undeniably a lot nicer (design aesthetics, certainly) and just much better pens all round. I have three of them. I especially like my Delta Fusion 82 with that gimmicky (gold over steel) but superb nib.
Delta’s comeback is very welcome. Alas, the use of standard, generic Jowo nibs is an instant and absolute kill-joy. It means I won’t be buying any of the new, comeback’ models today.
edit: this pens’s price is also a little off. But then, David, is there really any pen you review that you feel the price is not justified? I haven’t seen one yet. 🙂

    • @Jessjoe1956

      Hello Friend. How are you?

  •  9 месяцев назад

The fact that a brand like Delta chooses to use those standard/plain nibs like these that you can find on almost half of all modern emerging brands is such a bad decision in my opinion. At least for me it completely puts me of. I understand those small brands doing it to reduce costs, but this is a brand with history not an emerging little brand.
And worse the branding on the nib is laser engraved...come on, even a 2$ Jinhao has stamped nibs. It feels like someone just revived the brand name for a cash grab.
