Danielle Harrison we don't know the story behind them..I mean first thing you notice walking into 5 Guys is boxes of peanuts and them covered all over the floor..
The story is kind of simple, since they cook food to order ticket times range from 5-8 minutes and giving people free peanuts helps alleviate hostility with waiting.
Ira Gershwin they remove and clean their exhaust hood filters, wiped down the hoods and all surfaces daily. A lot of the equipment is stainless steel which cleans easily and looks great when cleaned. Equipment is all newer and standardized, each store is almost identical. They’re open layouts so the public can see the cooking and most of the food (potatoes are out in the open, but in a clean way). Crappy restaurants basically don’t keep up with cleaning the equipment and cooking equipment which can become semi-permanent if you don’t keep up on it. It’s much like keeping your teeth clean, the less you do for longer, the harder it is to get them clean and healthy, and the more damage is irreversible.
mr slick I thought I explained the context in which it made sense for me to make a comment. I guess if an electrician mentioned that Walmart follows all electrical codes in the comment section of a RUclips video, they must have some magical money coming to them too, eh? I don’t know who you happen to know who gets money from large corporations for RUclips comments, but it’s a weird bubble for sure.
My dad was the one who brought me there for the first time. We had never been there before but he wanted to try it. We each got a burger and some fries. Awesome! The container of fries we got was HUGE! So the last few times we have went, we just split a large fry. Definetly one of my favorite days with my dad.
Treasure those memories and the special relationship you have with your Dad, life goes by very fast. Thanks for sharing your experiences. I can't comment on the food because we have never had the franchise here in New Zealand.
Amy Rivers That's right. You may lose your family but your memories of them will last until you die. That's why I always remember my memories with my mom because she will die one day.

It would be a poor business decision to let McDonald's use Uber and not take advantage of the service. And when your already shelling out that much for Uber delivery the difference between a big Mac and fries and a five guys and fries is prob a few dollars. Makes the decision pretty easy in my mind...
As an ex five guys worker for some reason my branch had more women hired than men so it was always annoying that customers would come in and say “ hey aren’t there suppose to be five guys?!?!??!!!!” And I would slowly let out a fake laugh and die inside as they order undercooked fries😭
Bill Anderson nah I worked the register but my manager sucked he would cook undercooked burgers and fries all the time , he also embezzled money from the company so he wasn’t a great guy
After not eating meat for 4 years. I marched my pregnant self inside of 5 guys and had the best damn burger. I ordered the double cheese burger. It was mouth watering delicious 😋 . Thanks 5 guys!
Charløtte R it truly is. I’m thinking the ones who have negative comments are biased because of some issues that have nothing to do with the food or are trolling just for the sake of trolling.
Charløtte R, why did you not eat meat before, and what made you do it that time? Did you continue to eat meat after that? Why or why not? Just curious. 😃
ratamacue0 I found the vegan diet on RUclips, thought it might help clear my adult acne. It did help. Once I started watching vegan documentaries, I became grossed out by meat. So I decided to stick with it, I liked the fact I lost a few pounds, and was always ready for bikini season. I felt like I was helping humanity. Once I became pregnant I thought I would stick with Veganism. My hormones were craving meat. I just couldn’t carb up enough, I couldn’t eat enough bananas or potatoes. So I decided to try meat. My first go at it was awful, I was extremely sick and swore off meat. Months later my hormones said we need vitamins from meat, iron B12 isn’t cutting it. So I gave it another shot. I feel great, only eat meat a few times a week. I also found out many vegans are communist, and the movement went mainstream which means it’s not a good thing.
I actually love Five Guys. Their burgers are flawless (especially as you can add a wide variety of toppings....I usually go for mushrooms and onions), the chips are wonderful (fresh and tasty with the perfect crunch).....AND their milkshakes are incredible, I usually get the chocolate milkshake to sip on after a meal and I feel sedated. Worth the money guys.
I always ate FIve Guys when I lived in Wisconsin and went by their stores. Their burgers and fries are amazing and I got to munch on their peanuts as I waited for my food, quite an unique experience!
In-n-Out always gets my business here in Vegas and California, but I eat at FG's (and Shake Shack) whenever I can when I'm in London. American fast food restaurants that operate overseas are notoriously chintzy. No free refills, you have to pay for extra packets of ketchup, uniformly unfriendly service, overcrowded, dirty, etc. It's always refreshing to go into FG's in London and get large portions, free drink refills, free condiments and a smile with the service. The Brits can't believe this is the way restaurants are supposed to operate (unless they've traveled to the US).
I personally would suggest you try to find a local Wetherspoons when in london. These are Pubs (bars) that serve food. The one thing you can rely on is that all Wetherspoons food will be at least 'good', I've yet to have a bad meal from one of them and I've been in ones up and down the country. If you can find one during one of their club days (every day except Monday IIRC) then you can get a meal and a drink for £7ish. If you're in a location that doesn't have a Wetherspoons then it usually means their only competitor Brewers Fayre is operating. You don't tend to see them in London but out towards the South down in Dorset and Somerset sort of way and further up towards the North.
I was in London a couple years ago and it was really hard to find any places that served good fish-n-chips --- I found this really weird because that's like coming to America and having trouble finding a burger place
It's really good as a treat, I usually take my friends to Five guys for their birthday. Especially the one that never been there, and watch their rxn when they notice that the burger is too big to finish.....
...and a blend of soy and canola oil is much healthier than peanut oil, especially if you want people with a peanut allergy to be able to eat in your restaurant. The fad of using peanut oil instead of a soy/canola blend was basically started by the Peanut industry (yes, that's a thing) in order to sell more product. They paid for studies that said it was better than frying in animal fats (which is true) but neglected to include in their report that alternative sources of vegetable oil (like soy and canola) are healthier for you. Independent, non-sponsored studies have concluded that yes, peanut oil is healthier than animal fat, but one of the least-healthy alternatives.
Ockie Ditchbank if your gonna quote me, you need to quote the whole thing. You can't take a sentence, remove half of it and then quote it. Tell me, how does it feel to have every "insult" you throw at me fail.
I live in Eastern Washington and most of the time the Five Guys in Spokane would use Washington State grown potatoes. They would write the name of the farm where the potatoes they were using that day came from. Living next to the state of Idaho I like the potatoes grown in Washington (as well as Idaho) and noticed a big difference in flavor from those grown in Chicago and places down south (because my husband is retired U.S. Air Force and we’ve been to quite a few different places) and I had no idea that it had to do with the climate (being cooler in the northwest). I just thought that was interesting.
I think i'm gonna do a career change into one of the "mystery shoppers." I get to eat five guys burgers all the time and get paid for it, I think I found my new passion in life!
So, in regards to a Idaho Potatoes. Winter and Fall potatoes are harvested in the South, shipped to Idaho, washed, packaged, and shipped everywhere. How do I know this? I used to haul potatoes from the south in the Winter and Fall seasons. Five Guys wouldn't know this. It's part of the supply chain before it's packaged.

While Five Guys is a really good burger, it is in no way "high end". It's still fast food, albeit one of the pricier ones because the ingredients are tending towards quality. And yes, high end burgers do exist.
The cheapest burger and fry combo you can get in Canada is like $9.50 cdn for a burger + small fries. A big mac meal is something like $10.10 cdn after taxes.
Used to eat at the original Five Guys at Glebe Rd. and Columbia Pike in Arlington, VA. Awesome then and still awesome now. Their only change is the welcome addition of malts and shakes to their original menu. Keep it up!
HELLO DI Nasty!! I have found nerve endings in five gays meat. Second I hate is carls Jr. Which I have found hard small bone pieces in their meat 😝 YUUUCKKKK!
I worked for the first five guys in midtown mall Miami. The secret is they don’t freeze the meat it’s kept under a certain temperature always. No seasonings. Craft cheese, and the fries have to be soaked for hours and pre fried before frying them again. The key is to have mashed potatoes in a crispy shell. They don’t let you take out peanuts because if someone has an allergic reaction they can sue the business. Same reason why business choose to toss food, to avoid any lawsuits of food poisoning. The choose to use brown bags and aluminum foil because it’s cheaper then having labeled packaging. Also the menu is kept simple because it helps for a quicker service for both the customer and those in the kitchen. Kosher dogs are cooked on the bun grill where veggie sandwiches and buns are made so it’s not contaminated by meat residue.and last fun fact, You can add as many pattys to a burger as you like there is no limit.
Finally found out what the secret was as to why Five Guys burgers taste better. It's his first wife. He always tells people she had good taste...with a little wink when he says it.
I hate hearing timers beeping in the usual fast food operations. Five Guys have faith in their training and in their team members, also sticking to a simple menu concept certainly is a winning formula. Kudos.
I worked there. Hourly pay is pretty much the same as other places of similar value. I got $1.50 above min wage here. BUT, secret shoppers can get you anywhere from a $30-50 bonus on your check every couple of months. Plus a tip jar added $2-7 a shift in your pocket (at least at my store). This kept pay competitive to other places, employees happy, and your food coming out delish. Highly recommended job for college or high school students. Edit: Yes it's pretty expensive, but they weigh and hand press your patties and precut, wash, and soak your fries each morning. they temp check patties, topping, etc to make sure they are selling high quality almost every hour. The quality and quantity of meant and fries makes it worth the price alone. I would pay the price to know what I'm eating is not full of preservitves and fillers and everything is clean and I can SEE them make my food ;) Still eat there to this day. There be some cheap and broke ass bitches in the comments for sure though 🤣
If I owned a burger place and the president asked me to delivered him some food I would do it personally and take a picture for the restaurant but they said no and thankfully for them it all worked out anyways.
I love Five guys! I just recently tried them for the first time in Eindhoven-The Netherlands and the experience was just plain awesome! The way the people work there, the experience is just a part of it. A completly customizable menu is great and those burgers and fries..just delicious!
@@MountainIce007 shake shack is hella expensive. $30+ for two people. That is burger, drink and fries. Five guys is frugal in comparison. You get what you pay for I suppose.
There are quite a few restaurants where I live where they want $10.00 on up for a burger and fries, without the drink. There used to be a Five Guys close to where I live and once in awhile I’d grab a just a burger, though sometimes fries for my husband on my walk home if I was out. This was about 4 years ago (because they closed to restaurant by me) but I think I paid about $8.00 for both, no drink. Perhaps their prices have gone up since then, or maybe they vary from city to city.
When I came out of hospital I had to go to the next town from mine for something and I treated myself to a five guys, it was the best burger I ever had and is worth the price.
Five guys lifehack, bring a friend then share fries with him, ask for the cups of water then turn them into coke at that magic soda box. There, guys, it is no longer as expensive.
A few years ago I was in a Five Guys and they got my order wrong. I went to the manager and politely told of the problem. He apologized profusely, took the wrong order, gave me the correct one, and refunded my money. The wrong burger was not a big deal, but the manager handled it very professionally. A class act. I moved from that area. Now the nearest Five Guys is ninety miles away. When I have occasion to be in that city, I always go to Five Guys before coming home. 🍔
There's actually a Five Guys opening up on the central station near to where I live in the Netherlands. I'd never seen one here before, so I'm gonna check it out soon ;p I've actually hard pretty good things about this franchise. Should be opening soon and I'm very curious to give it a try.
It's very expensive when you consider that most Chinese take away meals cost far less, and those meals are all fresh as well, and have a better mix of nutrition (meat, vegetables, rice/noodles). The amount of meat required to make two patties (as they require two for their burgers) isn't that much, probably costs 50 cents at most, and isn't even seasoned lol. So they're basically saying the labour, maintenance and staff costs amount to almost $10 per burger - this is clearly nonsense. Five Guys are basically running the perfect business - emphasis on the word 'business'. They sell an incredibly cheap product that takes little time to cook (2½ mins for the fries seems to be longer than for the burger patties), and sell it on for an incredibly inflated cost.
Keith Cross Id block you too for trying to get a reaction by being arrogant. When you run a successful business that operates from multiple countries, come back and moan then.
I love five guys. Only been there twice but both times at different locations and both amazing. On another note, when I worked at a kfc they did secret shoppers too. They video taped us and then scored us on what we did. It was nerve wracking waiting to watch the videos
The secret: channels like these that make these type of videos are made (well paid for by) the illuminati to advertise and push their own agenda secretly, consumerism nothing more. The majority of these air brushed script reading videos where all you see is clips and pics while a voice talks is all bought and paid for, look u fiverr dot coms "pay me to say anything" gigs. these type of channels spring up all over youtube with misinformation or other types of shenanigans, could be on history, food or whatever. its a much more profressional version of those that are publicly available on fiverr
The burger was worth it in my opinion, the fries were pretty good, especially with vinegar. I got the "little" fry which basically filled my entire bag, I had to actually dig for my burger lmao
Don’t listen to these people. Five Guys is one of the best fast food burgers. They always fuck you up on the fries. And the burgers are pretty good too.
I was at the airport in Atlanta and there was a five guys across from my gate, so I ordered a single burger and a small soda. The gal said it would be $9.50, I told them to keep it.
I've been working at 5 guys near my house.. very very organized kitchen. It has to be one of the easiest jobs. But still busy an difficult enough to keep me on my toes.
Air Power I don't see how buying high quality food and supporting good businesses is a waste of MY money. But I guess if you can't afford it, you should rather save your money and go to Walmart.
Hard to find a well seasoned hand pressed burger patty now days. I don't mind paying a little more if it means my burger wasn't rolled out and stamped by a machine by the 100 thousands, flash frozen, and stacked 15 high in a cardboard box before being shipped cross-country.
@@miniaturenote2806 literally EVERY comment in this video is people saying how ridiculously overpriced this place is, and it's absolutely true. While I do like their burgers, they are not worth the value you pay. I eat here maybe once a year, if at all for that reason.
Its called Five Guys because you have to combine the salaries of five guys to afford a meal for a standard family. Hot-dogs now north of $8.....Unreal.
I couldn't believe how mediocre the food was for the outrageous prices. Everything is ala-carte no combos, no specials. You're gonna spend close to $15 per person for food that is comparable to most fast food chains where you can get the same thing for about $7. Not to mention standing in line for 10 mins just to order & waiting another 10-15 mins for the food. Never went back there a 2nd time after being so hugely disappointed. I go to Culver's now....the food is wayyy better & it's about half the price of 5 Guys, plus you don't have to wait a half hour to eat. 😊
I never heard of their restaurant till I recently went to the Imax theater and they are right there in front of the theater so the times I went in its always freezing cold in there. but props to their work ethic and making it a family business
Thank you! A lot of people don't seem to realise that Five Guys don't season their burgers, and it makes them taste so bland. I can make my own burger from scratch that has more taste, and I'm not even a brilliant cook.
sometimes you wanna taste JUST beef. That's Five Guys place in the fast food circuit. It's def not bad and one of the better fast food. To be fair, seasoning more for decent meat products is a sign of the quality of the meat itself. At least as far as fast food goes. You want a nice seasoned burger? I'd suggest The Keg, that's what they're here for. Fast food is merely out of convenience so try to think of it in it's own pocket of space apart from restaurants. Evaluate it on what matters, not what matters in areas we don't care for that don't really apply.
Makoroto Pornofoto exxxactly. When you pay for quality meats, you don't wanna taste any seasonings cuz that's not what you paid for. Similarly applies to hot dogs with ketchup and why the people who sell it feel a way about it.
Look, I'm not saying to smother the meat in paprika, just a pinch of salt can make a huge difference. If people like the taste of meat so much then why even bother seasoning a good steak? Just eat it bland and enjoy.
Sam Woodage it all depends on location where I live the five guys is the best burger I've had but the Burger King is complete shit so it really depends

The story is kind of simple, since they cook food to order ticket times range from 5-8 minutes and giving people free peanuts helps alleviate hostility with waiting.
Pootz Pootz that and my five guys does not mind you filling up the leftover bag from your meal with peanuts to take home
I do inspections for restaurants. Let me tell you, 5 guys is one of the cleanest restaurants in existence. Not a fan of the food myself, though.
How much 5 guys paid you? Easy money huh?
mr slick I thought I explained the context in which it made sense for me to make a comment.
Rey Abernathy yea same with me, just I could not,use the toilet for a day
This isn’t Yelp u bum
Treasure those memories and the special relationship you have with your Dad, life goes by very fast. Thanks for sharing your experiences. I can't comment on the food because we have never had the franchise here in New Zealand.
Amy Rivers That's right. You may lose your family but your memories of them will last until you die. That's why I always remember my memories with my mom because she will die one day.
briansivley2001 memories are very precious. I'm terminally ill and so I spend as much time with my parents as my energy allows because it's more than likely I will pass before them and they struggle with that and watching me deteriorate they know I'm in horrific pain. In saying that I turned 40 a few weeks ago and when I was 32 the doctors said that I only had a few years to live. I'm a fighter but when it's your time to go then it's your time to go. I hope that you create and share many memories with your loved ones.
And yet I deliver Five Guys for Uber daily
Same
Yeah but FIVE GUYS doesn’t deliver
Bordeaux Rose yes they do have you heard of uber eats and door dash🤭
It would be a poor business decision to let McDonald's use Uber and not take advantage of the service. And when your already shelling out that much for Uber delivery the difference between a big Mac and fries and a five guys and fries is prob a few dollars. Makes the decision pretty easy in my mind...
Do you think Five Guys is better than Mcdonalds or Wendy's?
The mystery shopper idea is genius. Wow, what if all businesses used ad money to improve shopper experience with mystery shoppers?
ketzbook I think secret shoppers are pretty normal for most chains.
I remember when a guy got sacked because he knew the mystery shopper and started mouthing off about it .. sad but true :-)
We got a perfect score btw lol
ketzbook McDonald’s would be SOL.
I know a lot of businesses use mystery shoppers, but not the same way Five Guys does, and I think their approach is downright brilliant.
As an ex five guys worker for some reason my branch had more women hired than men so it was always annoying that customers would come in and say “ hey aren’t there suppose to be five guys?!?!??!!!!” And I would slowly let out a fake laugh and die inside as they order undercooked fries😭
Peach Cola savage! lol
Bill Anderson nah I worked the register but my manager sucked he would cook undercooked burgers and fries all the time , he also embezzled money from the company so he wasn’t a great guy
Peach Cola right I always ask for extra cooked fries and bun...wtf
After not eating meat for 4 years. I marched my pregnant self inside of 5 guys and had the best damn burger. I ordered the double cheese burger. It was mouth watering delicious 😋 .
Thanks 5 guys!
Charløtte R it truly is. I’m thinking the ones who have negative comments are biased because of some issues that have nothing to do with the food or are trolling just for the sake of trolling.
Baby gets what baby wants! 😁
The food is 5 star rated from me. I love the burgers as well and the 🍟especially the cajun one's best taste ever!
Charløtte R, why did you not eat meat before, and what made you do it that time? Did you continue to eat meat after that? Why or why not?
Just curious. 😃

I found the vegan diet on RUclips, thought it might help clear my adult acne.
I went in there once ordered some food and when the girl gave me the price I actually cancelled and walked out...It's the principality.
MASHED IS FOR THE CULTURE BECAUSE THEY PUT TIMESTAMPS IN THE BIO, THANK YOU

It’s criminal this video doesn’t explain that they cook their fries in peanut oil... that’s what makes them so good
For real?! That's awesome!!!
2 burgers, fries, plain hot dog for the kid. $36 please. Hold on what?!
Rob Jones
exactly!!!!
what??!!!!
36 dollars!!!!
Just go somewhere else lol
The same thing happened to me. I ordered 2 bacon cheeseburgers, a bacon dog, fries and 3 drinks... $46.90 please!😮😢
Did you not see the prices before you ordered ? It's posted on the menu
That's a ton of food though.
What part of America are you traveling to? 🤔
I live in Vegas
yeah well idk if it's just you but that's not at all how I seen or been treated at any food establishment.
I was in London a couple years ago and it was really hard to find any places that served good fish-n-chips --- I found this really weird because that's like coming to America and having trouble finding a burger place
really good but too expensive
Cailey Noelle just like you 😘
Then go to McDonald’s then
@@isaac.a7039 but the burgers are so sloppy and stuff, I go to subway instead lel
It's really good as a treat, I usually take my friends to Five guys for their birthday. Especially the one that never been there, and watch their rxn when they notice that the burger is too big to finish.....
Cailey Noelle yeah but a hot burger and lots of fries is worth it at times.
When you realize Mashed and Looper are the same channel with a different brand name 🤔
That's the franchise model for you baby

Forgot to mention that they use peanut oil to fry food which is much healthier than regular grease
healthier? that shit kills me
ZerFrost Most people are not allergic to peanuts. Hence, they are healthier (not for you).
No fast food restaurant has used animal fat to make French fries for years.
its usually soy oil
...and a blend of soy and canola oil is much healthier than peanut oil, especially if you want people with a peanut allergy to be able to eat in your restaurant.

You forgot why the free peanuts...
Casey V K The free peanuts are because the sons didnt want to be watched while cooking, so they started providing peanuts to distract customers
nunubird999 Yeah, you can't spit in a cop's burger while they're watching (Super Troopers)

I think i'm gonna do a career change into one of the "mystery shoppers." I get to eat five guys burgers all the time and get paid for it, I think I found my new passion in life!
Chopsticks92 it's fun. I go to a lot of five guys as a mystery shopper. I use Market Force. Good luck
Chopsticks92 how do you become a secret shopper?
Chopsticks92 you crazy guy
lol good luck trying to making a living off that though
Always ask for the receipt and simple changes to your meal. and they might think if you as a SS.
SS jobs suck shit
So, in regards to a Idaho Potatoes. Winter and Fall potatoes are harvested in the South, shipped to Idaho, washed, packaged, and shipped everywhere. How do I know this? I used to haul potatoes from the south in the Winter and Fall seasons. Five Guys wouldn't know this. It's part of the supply chain before it's packaged.
Five guys is life, five guys is love.

Five gays is nasty
ETHICAL REVIEWS I don't know 5 gays
Michael Schemmel Well, if you count yourself, then you only need to count 4 others.
Yes get obese and be a lonely fat fook your whole life.
Kirioz oh man, speaking of lonely, it seems you might need some company yourself. Going after random people on RUclips certainly seems like the actions of a guy that has tons of company and activities to partake in.
Also, what makes you think that everyone that eats burgers or likes five guys is fat?
We enjoy 5 guys very much... its so much food my wife & i can split a burger & fries and be totally satisfied... one of the cleanest restaurants out there. My wife & i are FOODIES and we give each place a list of requirements to meet. There is so much competition out there if a restaurant doesnt meet your approval we just move on and find another place..5 guys has been a repeat performer for us for several years...Good Job 5 guys...

This is a high end burger joint. You don't eat there every day. It's not expensive if you don't eat there every day
House Warcrown lol that's what you call high end? Wow
And yet... we had everyday regulars... xD It was scary, WE ended up telling THEM that... we were ignored. o-o Feckin rich people. xD
While Five Guys is a really good burger, it is in no way "high end". It's still fast food, albeit one of the pricier ones because the ingredients are tending towards quality. And yes, high end burgers do exist.
Only super rich people wouldn't call that a high end burger joint.
I don't think that you get a high end burger from a burger joint. You get those from high end restaurants.
I think that >$9 for a burger and small fries is way too expensive.
The cheapest burger and fry combo you can get in Canada is like $9.50 cdn for a burger + small fries. A big mac meal is something like $10.10 cdn after taxes.
That's about the same as USD then
Lmao are you poor?
It’s not five guys, it’s heaven

HELLO DI never had one but I know I would devour atleast 3 of them in one go!
Best burger I’ve ever had outside of making it at home.
Really doubt your homemade burgers are better than Five Guys
most over rated burger chain in existence
Typical Token Black Guy bull shit
This isn't a review of In N out.
5 guys is trash
Everyone has opinions, just like assholes and they stink
Typical Token Black Guy You're not very smart.😔
5 guys, sounds like a Friday night at Anderson Cooper's house.
I miss the Five Guys Restaurants in my area. There were two around me but the second and last one closed down recently. Stinks.
I hate hearing timers beeping in the usual fast food operations. Five Guys have faith in their training and in their team members, also sticking to a simple menu concept certainly is a winning formula. Kudos.
Five Guys is a fad, their sales are declining and many have bad locations. The booming franchise is Chick-fil-A.
Not true, I work at five guys and we get great business, depends on where you live I guess
D Jaquith both are gr8
chick-fil-A , sucks .
Number one secret: Their burgers aren't made out of five guys.
The only good comment.
It was named after a gang bang.
Dolan DeDock Racist
Skelly yes it's in the secret sauce
No you were.
mugensamurai lmfao
I'm surprised the womans libbers aren't making a stink about the name!
Only been there once. It was a good burger but i dont think i will be going back.
Why you say it like that .
You either like it or don't.
Of you like then comment saying that you like it .
Asshole
Nathan Barraza calm down, Jesus.
Why?
Totally agree they are so overpriced and the price is the only reason why I don’t go I refuse to waste my money on something that I could buy cheaper
I find the quality of the burger worth it.
I understand that viewpoint, but anywhere I'd get a cheaper burger from always seems flat and smushed like someone sat on it.
You'd think they could pay their employees better with those prices 🤔
I love Five guys!
I just recently tried them for the first time in Eindhoven-The Netherlands and the experience was just plain awesome!
The way the people work there, the experience is just a part of it. A completly customizable menu is great and those burgers and fries..just delicious!
I’ve been to FIVE GUYS FIVE x. $14 for a hamburger fry and coke. Too expensive
It's much more than that at Shake Shack which is way lower quality food.
@@MountainIce007 shake shack is hella expensive. $30+ for two people. That is burger, drink and fries. Five guys is frugal in comparison. You get what you pay for I suppose.
Try Australia a large Big Mac meal cost $11
only shit, thats day light robbery. They must make a fortune selling just bread and meat that can kill you in the long run.
5 guys is the best send more to New York State Please
NotTheWheel nothing they do here you can’t do at home. Not worth restaurant prices for an ordinary burger. Yes it’s good, not $15 dollars a go.
There all over in New York I'm a ex employee from the saratoga springs 5 guys.
We are world wide and still expaning
And Michigan too
When I came out of hospital I had to go to the next town from mine for something and I treated myself to a five guys, it was the best burger I ever had and is worth the price.
Deep down I know you know that wasn't worth it .
Should have gone to Whataburger
Nathan Barraza, I don’t think we have those in Britain.
Haha u were just hungry
Five guys lifehack, bring a friend then share fries with him, ask for the cups of water then turn them into coke at that magic soda box. There, guys, it is no longer as expensive.
I love Five Guys! 1000 x better than Smash Burger.
Jeff Dreyer
they put the burgers in tin foil which traps the moisture
I totally agree smash burgers nothing but grease
there burgers are delicious, but 13 dollars for a damn meal is too much!
StudioUAC it's not that much
Atleast they use real meat and everything
stryfetc1 If that's true In N Out couldn't turn a profit, yet somehow they start thier employees at $12/hr!?! 5 Guys is overpriced
Nathan Mathews in n out has way smaller burgers but agreed and Carl's junior 5 dollar box is a great choice on a budget decent quality
Only if you're lazy and eat out every day then yeah that's expensive.
Their fries are awesome!! I could make a meal on them alone!!🍟🍟🍟🍟🍟
Yes five guys is very good BUT it's stupid expensive at least where I live
VERY true.
My girl told me the same thing. Never been though.
Nah it’s expensive in my area too.
+Jason Yip haha 50 cents thats not even close its way more
I saw their ad on facebook and ask why a bottle of water was $2.... 5 Guys blocked me... Lost my business....

The secret: channels like these that make these type of videos are made (well paid for by) the illuminati to advertise and push their own agenda secretly, consumerism nothing more. so how many guys have you tried so far? or did u mean u have yet to try 5 guys at the same time?
Don’t listen to these people. Five Guys is one of the best fast food burgers. They always fuck you up on the fries. And the burgers are pretty good too.
its overpriced since it is real meat and bread

Just had my first Five Guys burger in Oxford, England. Absolutely yummy 😋
Hard to find a well seasoned hand pressed burger patty now days. I don't mind paying a little more if it means my burger wasn't rolled out and stamped by a machine by the 100 thousands, flash frozen, and stacked 15 high in a cardboard box before being shipped cross-country.

By his own words, I guess the company isn't doing well.
They don’t have an internal delivery service like Pizza Hut
I couldn't believe how mediocre the food was for the outrageous prices. Everything is ala-carte no combos, no specials. You're gonna spend close to $15 per person for food that is comparable to most fast food chains where you can get the same thing for about $7. Not to mention standing in line for 10 mins just to order & waiting another 10-15 mins for the food. Never went back there a 2nd time after being so hugely disappointed. I go to Culver's now....the food is wayyy better & it's about half the price of 5 Guys, plus you don't have to wait a half hour to eat. 😊
STORM MONEY completely agree!!! Way overpriced!!
No it’s not and they give you much more food for your dollar not to mention Culver’s is sub par don’t ever compare to five guys
Good things goes to those who wait
Now I want a burger and free peanuts.
tackyman2011 yes!
I steal all the peanuts I can carry!!!
I never heard of their restaurant till I recently went to the Imax theater and they are right there in front of the theater so the times I went in its always freezing cold in there.
but props to their work ethic and making it a family business
It's a burger. Nothing more,nothing less.
Sure, but there are different burgers.
well no shit
Not true everything is fresh never frozen
Burgers would be better if it was seasoned. Very bland meat.
I throw chili powder and barbecue sauce into mine.
I’ve never had a five guys am I missing out?
Blurry Face I think I’ll stick with Burger King then 😂
First time I went there I forgot quickly because the burgers were not that great
I love the burgers their. I recommend it, but I also love burger king
Sam Woodage it all depends on location where I live the five guys is the best burger I've had but the Burger King is complete shit so it really depends
