That’s amazing.... I just Googled this problem today!!!!! I thought my dryer might not be warm enough, but turns out the wife had it on “low heat”. I think the fuses are the only thing I haven’t replaced yet!
I'm a 30 yr electrician, usually if the thermal overload isn't bad it's usually the heating element has a broken coil. Easy enough it's under that large silver cover can get the whole set, overloads and element for about 30-40 bucks. The overloads are not directional, it doesn't matter which way the wires are hooked back up.
My dryer is the same as above but not drying properly. Takes two cycles to dry whereas it used to take one. I can see the element getting hot and turning orange towards the top so I don't think it is that. The lint screen is clean. Any ideas?
Not sure on that one. Possibly heating element going out or partially working. Their pretty cheap to replace. Maybe check and see if the drum is able to turn like it supposed to. Thanks for stopping by.
If I remember correctly you have to take off that silver/aluminum looking shroud cover, and that will expose your heating element. I have gotten ride of this dryer a little while ago. Hope that helped. Thanks for stopping by.
YOU SAVED ME $500!! THANKS AND GOD BLESS YOU!!

@@handicamper101 Try looking for a used Centennial MCT dryer.

@@handicamper101 Right. Would you recommend parts from Amazon or are they cheap knock offs?
@@billballoo7881 Amazon or even eBay . We have gotten some great deals before from eBay .
Have you cleaned out the duct or vent hose? Mine was full of lint and caused it to do the same as yours.
Hi I just changed all my fuses and thermostats on my dryer heating element comes on for about a minute then shuts off have any suggestions
Could mean that you have a bad heating element . Getting too hot and blowing those fuses.
My dryer takes two cycles to dry most loads. Could it just need to ne cleaned?
Could be. Also you might need a new heating coil. Does it get warm or hot like it supposed to when you turn the dryer on?
@@handicamper101 Yes, it warms up like it is supposed to.
@@colettemcwilliams1325 I would definitely at least try cleaning it out . Might be clogged up some and not venting like it should.
@@handicamper101 Thank you.
How do i access the heating element?

I take pictures of the wires and everything before I disassemble. Think about all the people that buy a new one when they could do this easy fix!
Couple dollars, and small amount of time. 👍👍
I changed out everything still blowing cold air. Please help!!!!!
