I'm living in the U.S. and I feel some variations from English to Irish are pretty similar with those from English to American English.

The interesting things...I have to deal with my customers in UK and Ireland. NORTH England and Scotland is far from what we learn in Taiwan.
Recently I have more chances to talk to my Irish customers, they speak apparently not like TV (more American I would say) yet I don't have chance to set food to Ireland, look forward to hearing the local voices.
