thanks for your sharing. i am chinese business man. have one important UK agent. but afraid of miss understanding his meaning cause of the accent. so i have to delay my visit again and again. how should i add your whatsapp or something. so maybe you can help me. also please tell me how much i should pay you per day. thanks. or your friend will be also ok.
學到了“Do you fancy a cuppa?”
I am always love and interested in British accent ( the standard southern one). Before this video, didn’t know each region in the UK sound so different.
super great stuff here~ thanks for creating this! I always have trouble understanding the standup comedy in Edinburgh. Accent really plays a strong part in communication.
While studying in the US, an auditing professor invited 2 British auditors as guest speaker to share auditing experience with us. If I am not wrong, they are from Wales. I was completely lost during the 2-hour session. I simply can't understand what they said. It was an alien language to me, though I knew they were speaking "British English". After going through the entire career and working with people from all over the world, that was the only time I couldn't "manage" the accent.
this video is totally interesting and informative. I find that I must give some kind of comment than just a thumb. Your video and analysis is wonderful.
Lovely, Susie... 😄Once I visit company London branch. I struggled to understand one guy... my London colleague told me that, "Oh, that guy, he is from Scotland, we also need a translator to understand his English as well." 🙂
As a Cantonese speaker from HK, i hv never heard anyone talks like the italki teacher😅 That kinda proof the point of this video, diff accents of the same language 👍🏻
This is an absolutely fantastic video-so informative and educational. Well done, everyone! My favorite singer, Ed Sheeran, is from Halifax, which I believe is in West Yorkshire. The gentleman you interviewed kind of sounds like Ed, though Ed’s accent might be influenced by all his travels. Once again, hats off to you all!
It was really not easy to make this video. I must give it a like to show my support! Thank you, blogger, for taking us to learn about different accents in various parts of the UK through on-site visits. It's of great help to me as a beginner in learning English. What's more, the blogger thoughtfully added Chinese subtitles. Thank you! This video has reignited my hope for learning English.🎉🎉🎉
Very interesting & well done work you did, thanks. During '88-'95, I had business connections with companies in Wolverhsmpton & visited there several times. I visited my friends there again in ''18 & last summer. The local people I met there pronounced 'Wooverrampton' instead, a stronger R tongue rolling. Different from those you met in Wolverhampton & Dudley. BTW, Sedgeley in Dudley has a very famous & historic pub called the Beacon Hotel (150+ years). I love their beers, specially the 'Dark Ruby' ale. I asked my friends driving me there whenever I visited the Black Country. At first they didn't know it exist (in early '90s) although they were born in Wolverhampton. Now they all love it. I've moved to Manchester for 7 years & I've found different accents in Stockport, Eccles, Oldham ... Keep up with your accent explorations, cheers.

I knew 'Do u fancy a cuppa' many many year ago
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! :)
Thanks a lot, Susie!
I love this episode.
Thank you! Glad you liked it :))
That is loads of effort that you put in to make this. Thanks a lot!
Thanks
Thank you~~
Oh dear…you definitely deserve a big thumbs-up and a warm hug for this video! Wish to see you interview someone with a Geordie accent next time.
very in depth and very interesting! Thanks for sharing with us.
This episode is brilliant. Really appreciate your effort to produce this one !
this video is so good, thank you so much for making such an interesting and informative piece!
I am always love and interested in British accent ( the standard southern one). Before this video, didn’t know each region in the UK sound so different.
super great stuff here~ thanks for creating this! I always have trouble understanding the standup comedy in Edinburgh. Accent really plays a strong part in communication.
在倫敦和伯明翰找一個講正宗Cockney或 Brummie口音的人,難度要比去找到India/Pakistan/Nigeria/Caribbean Region/Eastern Europe口音的人還要高一些。
Thank you for making this amazing video and thank you so much for your huge effort! 😊😊🎉🎉
Thank you :))
Very beautifully useful. Great efforts to find interviewees
it's a very decent servery. takes a lot of time and energy. Susie is a very charming lady. she who dedicates so deeply is the prettiest one. 🥰
Thanks for your efforts getting all these footages.
This is such a good episode. So don't feel sad. It is all well rewarded. ❤
As someone who used to study in London, it's so enjoyable to watch this video!
Thanks!
Thank you 🫶
This is a great video! Thanks for the hard work!
thanks, susie. I love your video so much - to explore different accents in the uk. thanks for your effort.
好厲害!it’s so time consuming but so nice to know
Quick an interesting and knowledgeable episode, thank you.
Love this episode so so much. I admire your courage to find some strangers to talk even though it was very tough to be rejected 🙅 ❤😢
A significant amount of hard work and courage has been put into this episode!
Educational and entertaining, you nailed. Keep going!!!
Thank you 😊❤

Dog = phone, Apple = stairs. Super straightforward innit
I particularly like this video and appreciate your efforts, well done ❤

I've a house in Southampton, and I've worked from British Navy and the war in Falklands Islands! And My father is Scottish. ❤❤❤

This is really good!
The video really reminds me of my life in England when I was studying my master degree there.
Such a wonderful video ❤❤
Your English accent is very good . Similar as the last governor Lord Pattern of Hong Kong . Very clear and easy to understand that’s what I mean .

I was sooo looking forward to Scouse in "Levopool" 😂
This video is awesome. Thanks a million!😊
