funny you mentioned the thing about "Sold My Soul To Satan Waiting In Line At The Mall" being a great song title, since that whole part is a reference to the last part of a song by them with that exact name.

Funny thing is there is even more symbolism from the song than just the lyrics straight from the song

What's cool about all the Where Ya't Duckboy? interludes is they are real voicemails that Ruby got during a dark in this life, over beats that Ruby himself made ($crim does all the producing so Ruby taught himself how to make beats specifically for those interludes).

He really produced the interludes? 3rd beat sounds straight like scrims production with them 808 patterns

yes, the verse "Sold my soul" is from one of their songs, great reference 🖤

the lyrics in "I was a teenage nihilist" come from the text in the background of "I No Longer Fear the Razor Guarding My Heel (II)" album cover

that explains where the "tin" lyrics come from

I think an interview with you and the boys talking about the song lyrics and meanings would be sooo interesting to hear🖤

“I’m matter, but I don’t matter” is from kys (part III) and one of my fav lines from Ruby without a doubt, I’ve thought of getting it tattooed next to my other $b tatt. “Sold my soul“ is a song as well the boy$ have, you have listened to it :)

i think from both Duckboy albums the voice messages are real and they are messages he received, all of them

I love the content from this channel, you seam like the onky one who gets into the lyrics and really analyzes what they are saying, others may try but you really highlight the importance of the metphors. Love your content very much, you have put perspective on lyrics that i wasnt always sure what to think of and Scott and Aristos' music individually as well as together have changed so much of my views on life and made me start to appreciate the things that I have gotten out of life, no matter how insignificant i may feel their music gives me hope. I hope they get what they want out of life. Much love for the boys and for your deep content.

If you wanted to know the reason why Duckboy was really good at this genre after being Ruby in rap, is because he played in a few bands as a teen and a young adult, i think it was this genre.
