As someone who’s been there done that so to speak, to me this video struck a chord with the whole “savior complex” mentality that a lot of self proclaimed chivalrous men go through at one point or another in their life, where they love a girl, they know they’d be good to them and a healthier option than the person they seem to be trapped with (the dragon) but still, the girl chooses to stay with the one who keeps her captive, the one you think is “no good for her.” Regardless of how righteous you are and no matter how hard you try, that’s just not what she wants right now. Even if the dragon is a bad guy, she still loves him. You may think you’re saving her from the dragon, but she WANTS to be with the dragon… and at that point, it’s her life and her decisions, there’s nothing you can do about it other than accept it for what it is and move on… or get turned into a duck I guess LOL

This song is really amazing. personally, I like the theme of the journey and the search for the goal, while also fighting with my own demons. I personally have this mental attitude in my life, not to look back and keep moving forward on the path, even if sometimes it may turn out that the path was not the right one, immediately get on the right one and try to keep going until I run out of strength and I die happy. why? because the journey itself and overcoming obstacles leads to a positive mind and motivation is formed during it itself. this really surprised me about Ruby
