How To Play Retro DOS Games On ChromeOS

Note: The Doom gameplay was not laggy on my end, that is an effect of the screen recording!
Today we go through start to finish on how to download, install and play retro DOS games on a Chromebook, Chrome OS, or ChromeOS Flex. It's pretty easy to do by setting up Linux and dosbox.

How do i get fullscreen to work on dos box with chromebook. Tried alt- enter but still get small window box in middle of screen ?

do you know what to do in the beggining with the terminal? i typed sudo apt install dosbox and it said "dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem." do you have an idea or fix to this?

None of the controls work even if I have a mouse, the only things I can do is move left and right press these keys < >, and shoot ctrl. and switch between the fist and the pistol. Why can't I do stuff like move forward, please give me an answer :(
