How to get Linux App Store on Chromebook

Today I'm going to make installing Linux apps, on your Chromebook, much easier by showing you how to get a Linux app store on your Chromebook.
This will allow for one click, easy installation.
☀ Commands:
sudo apt update - look for software / system updates
sudo apt dist-upgrade - upgrade your system files
Install Gnome Software - sudo apt-get install gnome-software gnome-packagekit
Install KDE Discover - sudo apt install plasma-discover

Wow, that was a great tutorial!! Just got my first Chromebook in the last week and wanted to install some apps that aren't available in the Play Store, for better functionality on my Chromebook. Glad to hear this because i enjoy Puppy, Mint, Porteus Lubuntu & MX Linux. I am looking forward to getting a new Chromebook and exploring Linux software within its simple, elegant world. The most difficult part is selecting the specific machine. I wish Eevnos had asked people who were successful loading one or both app stores to identify the CB they used. Great video! I'm guessing before this goes Gold Google is going to put a software center in there if you click you want Linux? If people switch on Linux and then can't install an app there is going to be confusion and if someone tells them they have to go into a terminal and learn how to do stuff they'll just turn the Linux option off.
