I'm not able to get Minecraft Launcher to open. The only thing I can think of that's different than in your video is that mine reads OpenGL ES 3.1 Mesa 20.3.5
Me too I am having the same problem!! did you find a solution by any chance?
Also when I go to install it says that there was an error!
I just got the Chromebook 514 and was thinking of installing LIUX. The CB514 also has that button for installing LINUX in the settings. I think I am going to do it because I have a program I want to use that will work on LINUX.
Can you add your linux applications on your "favourite" bar?
Can you open linux terminal with ctrl+alt+t?
Can you use home, end, page up, page down with fn + arrow keys?
Is it usable for programmers, do you suggest it?
Yes
You can do anything with custom keyboard layout
Yes, needs tweaking (adding keys to exclusions)
It's usable, but there's little reason to bother. In that case it will be like Linux but with more (fixable) problems
If you chose a Chromebook that doesn't need scaling it would make a bit more sense.
Because using Linux in general on high DPI devices (like 2017 pixel book) is pretty horrible and is very hit and miss depending on the app and the framework/libraries it uses.
Any time i run sudo apt upgrade i get the message: E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
It says E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem when i type in sudo apt dist-upgrade please help
Hey. Mine said that too. But i fixed it. What you're gonna do is type in "sudo dkpg --configure -a" and then once that is done, then you can type in sudo apt dist-upgrade
