your tutorials changed my life..i bought my D7100 3 months back and had been struggling to learn photography..i thought like it's something impossible in my life ever..but now i am motivated..thanx a lot!!may god bless..love all ur tutorials..thank u so much!!
I am a visual person and this is the first youtube video that REALLY helped me! I also like how she talked slowly so I could digest all the information and view the samples at the same time. This was such a great help! Thanks so much.
Probably one of the best and down to earth photography tutorials I've seen. Very helpful, practical and, even better yet, without the arrogance you tend to see in most other videos. Thanks for posting!
Oxsana you may take photos but you are clearly an educator posing as a photographer. I mean that as a compliment in the highest regards. I believe the way you give instruction has inspired and shared more images and memories to the world than you may ever do as a photographer. Thank you.
I really like your video because you explain perfectly how does the camera works , how the different scale numbers of aperture , shutter speed and iso react is highly helpful .
As I am a newbie to photography, I have never known how useful the ISO feature could be, after watching your lessons I could clear myself on combined use of these trio features. Thank a lot for this tutorial; it’s really very helpful for beginners as well. :)
After all the "professional" and techie tutorials that left me still digging for better understanding, I am very happy to find your explanation. Very clear and patiently laid out. You have good presentation, thank you, good work
As a 'newbie' I have watched dozens of you tube vids and been on a day long course, however this is by far the most easy to understand tutorial so far. The examples showing the relationship of how changes made in one point of the triangle and how it affects the other two are great. Lets see if I can now put it in to practice.
o my gosh this is the best tutorial ive ever seen... i knew about all three factors in exposure but i had no idea of the relation to the steps of light they allow in and the meeter through the viewfinder which has been mindblowing for me thank you so much... you have no idea
Thank you for your videos. This is the BEST visual example to explain the relationship between aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. I can't wait to see more!
I am a beginner for DSLR.. Many thanks to you for your such an articulated presentation.. trust me it developed lot of confidence.. soon i shall send you my photography..
I was looking for a full stop chart and stumbled across your video.I persevered with your explanation as this is not new to me and i must say very well done. One of the best examples of the relationship of iso aperture and shutter speed i have seen on youtube.
Great video. I took a class and read numerous sites trying to explain aperture, iso and shutter and none were as good as this video. The use of the visual helped me understand a lot including the information on the lens thanks for a job well done
I saw this photo showing how these 3 things affect the picture and decided to see this video. Its really helpful and a very good idea to make it simple to understand for beginners.
Great video Oksana. Really informative and at a nice slow pace for beginners to get the concepts involved. The examples you have really make it real. THANK YOU for posting. Looking forward to the others on your channel.
I have downloaded all your tutorials you have the gift of explaining photography to novices like myself in a clear easy to follow way Thank you so much. Keep up the good work
I must say thank you very much for your easy to follow instructions a week ago I had no idea how to set my camera for the correct exposure, i bought two canon cameras eos 20d and eos650d I owned my 20 D for a very long time and I could not understand anything about shutter speed nor the aperture thanks to you and after watching your tutorials everyday for a week I can now easily set my camera and take good pictures I finally understand ISOand all the basics very clear instructions from you
This is by far THE BEST video that I have seen which illustrates the relationship between the three components of the Exposure Triangle. I am glad that you have used a Nikkor kit lens for part of your illustration because I have finally obtained a clear explanation of the lens's strength and its weakness. Great work! I will subscribe to you. Cheers!
I've been looking at videos for days on exposure and this one has been the absolute best. You really know how to make efficient use of your examples and your pacing is on point. Excellent job, excellent video! I strongly encourage to use as much visual examples when you can: it's what made you stand out from the other videos I've seen in my opinion :)
You do such a fantastic job of explaining things. I hope you continue doing more series on photography.Plus, you explain it all in a way, to where just about anyone could understand. thank you, and please continue doing these videors.
thanks a lot for your explanation, your videos get me started with photography back in 2014! couldn`t be done without this extremely explicit explanation
I could so kiss you. I have been playing with my camera for a couple years now and while the quality of my photos has gotten better I could not guarentee a good shot and it was frustrating. I have read and read about aperature, iso and shitter speed but could not find anything to explain how they worked together. In one video I have suddenly grasped this concept and it makes sence. Thank you thank you thank you.
As I am trying to teach myself about photography, I was always confused by the term "stop" I assumed it meant aperture... no wait it means shutter speed....no wait it means I am confused. I loved how you explained that the stops are settings for all 3. It has now "clicked" for me. Through the first 4 videos i am very impressed and look forward to going through the rest.
Hey that was one of the nicest lessons i'v seen. You explain it so simply and calmly, its amazing. I think you should be given an award for this lesson and i'm sure you have helped, not ony newcomers in this field, but even others who have been practiceing this art for some time. like me. Thank's a lot and God Bless you......
I was a bit skeptical about the first 3 lessons, thinking I'd never get it or at least I'd have to wach 54325345 videos and let it slowly sink in, but this video brought it together so well. I am glad I stuck with this series! :) Thank you!!!
Thanks I'm a beginner, and have been watching other tutorials. I came across yours and have found yours is so much easier to understand with your clear and easily understood videos. Now I have a much better understanding of aperture, shutter speeds and ISO settings.....Thanks :O)
Thanks very much for making me understand my camera better and about lenses. I had no idea. I feel so much more confident now and I can now purchase new lenses informatively.
Wow best explanation regarding light into the camera. I have struggled with this for years and now it is all so clear. My mistake not using the light meter correctly. I take dancers indoors in low light, so I need fast shutter usually 1/125, use 2.8 aperture and am still trying to get ISO correctly set. Thank you so much, you explain everything so well.
So incredibly helpful! You have answered so many of my questions in just these first 4 videos! I have my first DSLR...and wanted to learn some of the basics...so thank you! :)
