Brown mascara looks great on you I’m definitely switching over to brown. And brown liner looks great on you as well so pretty 😍
I definitely like the chocolate brown better. It makes your eyes look much brighter, and your lashes look thick and lush! That one gets my vote. I have used brown mascara before, but it was too dark and almost looked black. I'll have to try again. I have brown eyes and light olive skin.

Yes yes yes Amiga! Kelly Gooch wears brown mascara and I look the look. I bought some, but I’m not impressed but the formulas. Several of us have asked her for a brown mascara video and we’re still waiting. I’m so glad you did this video! I refuse to buy high end mascara, but I will buy the YSL. I loved the chocolate brown color. It looked on you. No wonder you were wearing the brown eyeliner!!!

I really like the YSL chocolate brown, like you said brown eyes, it's very flattering on you, it makes you look younger too. You always complain about your poor down turned thin lashes, but when you put any mascara on them, they pop and then you curl after mascara is on sometimes they almost touch your beautiful brows. Great video! YSL brown is my favorite holy grail!Honestly I don’t know why more cosmetic companies don’t make warm brown mascaras, they would make a killing… there is definitely alot of people that prefer brown over black..

Gurl just watched the shorts then u came with this. The ysl looks great on u but unsure how it'd be for me as I'm Asian with difficult lashes. I use Korean mascaras as they price point would be slightly better than ysl. Enjoyed this video! Thanks amiga!❤
I live for brown mascara, especially for every day. It gives subtle but put together. For more dramatic or dressed-up looks I'll rock the brown. I use both the Maybelline lash sensational and the new controversial L'oreal telescopic. Love them both...L'oreal gives more drama tho...in a good way.

@@MagdalineJanet lighter lip combos flatter you more with the rest of the make up you prefer, mostly. One question, though, that i'd love to see you on answering with a video: if you had to choose, only 3, products, for an everyday look, which 3 would they be? (For example : concealer, lipstick, mascara).
I think the YSL gave you better, more voluminous and more noticeably chocolate brown lashes compared to the Tarte Man Eater.
You should maybe do a part 2 and review too faced, Charlotte Tillbury and Colour Pop Brown mascaras
I use the bown Mascara in L'Oréal Lash Paradise for a soft look and Maybelline Lash Sensational for a more glam look for me 😊
I can see the brown. YSL is a very pretty brown you're right about it looking like chocolate.
I don't know if it's the color or the formula, but the YSL looked stunning on you! The taupe-leaning shade of the Tarte would probably work best for blondes or those with all grey/silver hair. Now I wonder if the YSL in black performs the same?

I tried the brown in sky high. First day top lashes only, no problem second day top and bottom and we had a bit of a problem 🤦♀️. Maybe thrive is next for me I do like thrive in black and no raccoon eyes at the end of the day😊

The YSL is much better I got the CT brown one but I have to say you only have to put mascara and eyeliner no eye shadow to make it pop I have brown hazel eyes…I think it would look better on blue eyes 💕 great review 💕
Maybe the tarte is brown black, which I like, I have the maybeline falsies lashlift in waterproof brown black for the summer for a natural no makeup makeup look

How does the ysl brown compare with the Charlotte tilbury?
I actually just bought a brown mascara and I'm on the fence with how it looks on me. My lashes are long and thick so I feel like it doesn't coat them all the way? I think I also need a different (darker) shade of brown so it's not so much of a contrast
There’s a huge hype with that YSL mascara. I have in black and brown and I don’t think I’ll repurchase them. They’re like too wet, messy and I don’t get a result that wowed me. The best brown mascara is the Too Faced tbh. The Dior one is good but the Too Faced is better and longevity wise is also better imo.

I bought the Tarte mascara when it was on sale at ULTA. That mascara was awful even in black. It barely showed up and I wasn’t impressed.
Ysl looks like a colored mascara, the tarte looked like you natural lashes but “better”
