this just goes to show how well tools & infact how good everything was made when this drill was made, when it can go to a state like this & then be brought back to life, we owe it to the people who made the things like this who are no longer with us, to look after the objects they made, & left us, they are a work of art in their each individual self, i have esp in my kitchen, allsorts of old victorian tools & kitchen equipment etc, hanging up on hooks all over the place., cos i just like to look at them, & to use them now & again.

@@ammarkhan7371 Gloves get caught in the rotating parts and pull your hand in. I was never formally trained in machining, but had my own machine shop to suppliment my business. Sometimes I could not find a part or did not have the time to order one, so I made a new one. I also dabbled in metal puzzles and art. One day I was using the mill with gloves and the tool caught my glove. Fortunately it pulled the glove off without grabbing my hand. Lesson learned, no more gloves. I really thought that rusty crusty WAS a GONER, buddy! 😵🪦 However, somehow you restro guys have your ways of bringing back even the most worst items I've ever seem.
