Thanks for the video ❤ Have you used sandpapers etc after taking the resin out? Or just this polishing step only? I'm coming across people using different kind of sandpapers for ages and then polish to get this finish so I'm a bit confused
This is just the polishing step. Polishing works on pieces that come out of a worn out mold or need a restorative shine. A lot of times, when you take a piece out of a mold, it has sharp edges or isn't flat. In that case, a common way to solve it is to sand down a piece to flatten it out. To skip all the sanding in between, you can usually just sand and then top coat. The old fashioned long way is to start with a coarse sandpaper and then work your way to a finer one, and then polish as the last step. I have taught myself how to do this just to learn it, but it can take many hours. Hope this makes sense ❤️
Oh thank you so much! I’m so happy you’re here. I’m not sure I’ve ever used a 1:1.5 ratio before, my usual top coating resin is 1:1 ratio but I have also used 1:2 before so I think you should be ok. Let me know how it goes!

Hi Marina, I know you are extremely busy and may not see this comment, but if lucky to catch your eyes on this, please please will you upload the video of the making of this wedding piece! It looks amazing.. I am really dying to get into making resin arts, have never done it, but it's relaxing, distressing and soothing to do.. you are a true inspiration!! Keep up the amazing work you do! Regards, from Adrian, in South Africa

Can you share how to use a chamfering tool for edges?
The chamfering/deburring tool is honestly my least favorite thing 😂 it’s so difficult to use!
