    You can truly feel and hear the compassion and respect you have for your clients! That’s a huge bonus they get and may or may not realize it! No matter, the workmanship is at the highest level of perfection. I am really enjoying watching your videos. Thank you.

    Your video was great. Thank you so much for sharing. I have been working with resin for only a out 6 months and I just started with large blocks. I obviously still have a lot to learn because I haven't had one project that didn't either stick to the mold and have the mold rip off onto it, or have a fingerprint, or just be uneven. So I end up needing to sand and topcoat the tops AND sides. My question is: When you say "topcoat", is there a special "topcoat resin" for doing this? Or do you just use an additional coat of regular resin? Thank you so much for your help!

      Sorry to hear about your struggles! Yes, top coating resin is a harder resin usually used for thin coats like countertops. Casting resin is for deep pours and making blocks. These are different types of epoxy-- if you expand the description box, I have links for both types of resin I use and you can see the difference based on manufacturer's description too.

    Hi Marina, i was wondering if you need to do anything with the dust that gets stuck on the coating resin?

    • @marinamakesart
      @marinamakesart  6 месяцев назад +1

      If you see any dust, I recommend removing them with a popsicle stick or skewer before you leave the piece to cure. If you use a popsicle stick and tap on the small dust particle, usually it lifts it off. Hope that helps!
