It is SOOOOOOO hard to stand your ground when sales are slow. It is a fine line between holding out and falling in love with a price. Alot of times I need to remind myself it's better to sell an item a little low and get sales going! sometimes if sell 3-4 items in a row, Ebay will give you a "Run" of sales!
Yeah i definitely take my sales that day into account when i get them but if it's really new and i know it's good i hold out but if it's kinda OK I'll take it on a slow day
If I have a sale going where my items are already marked 25% off, I find it hard to accept offers for even lower. I do need to make some profit.
@@brendaearl4708 i always leave room for offers even with a sale. If you're not open to offers i would turn off best offer during sales
The blue glasses look amazing on you! Great color!!
Oh thank you!
Blue glasses look good. 👍
Thank you 😊
Forgive me Kat. I thought you might want to know. "Meaning, synonyms, and antonyms of “overlook” and “look over” “Overlook” means ignoring, failing to notice, or observing from a high place. “Look over” means inspecting something in a cursory way to establish its merits or get a general idea of what it is like.Apr 14, 2022" I've been watching a long time and appreciate your channel and knowledge. LOVE your blue glasses!

Also have a Paris mannequin and find sales are easier and higher if I use it. 😊 Enjoy all your videos. ❤
Yes! Thank you! I think they make stuff look great
Definitely feeling the summer slow down. I have started to make and accept lower offers than usual in order to generate sales. Especially on older inventory and items with sufficient profit margins. The blue glasses look great! I’ll check out the link 😊
Yes I do that for sure and yes do they're so great at overnight glasses and they come the next day!
Yep I’ve gotten a few of those too or that they’re on a fixed budget. We’re all on a fixed budget aren’t we!
Around here we are lol
Thank you Kat these blue glasses are beautiful.
Thank you so much 💓
New reseller here / about 6 weeks.
The good stuff I buy to resell - I’m more particular about offers.
I’m also trying to clean out my closet - mostly brands that don’t have great resell value. Much more lenient on offers for those items. Just trying to break even
Best of luck!
Awesome video! ❤
Glad you liked it!!
Just saying I love the blue glasses And thanks for another great video.

Thank you!
Glasses are cute and love your videos ❤
Thank you!!
Low ball offers: Offers are good, but ridiculously low ones? ARGH! I do counter high then try to forget those people and not let them get to me. Hard to do, and for that reason I'm inclined to just block them. Once in a while, they come back and finally make offers in a more reasonable range, but I still just don't want to deal with those people. I have one now still making offers, but it's a popular item that I know will eventually sell, so NO. If it were an item that sat ignored forever, maybe, but ... just maybe. I feel like they are bottom feeders and prefer they just GO AWAY.
I do believe that counter-offers to low-ballers helps the algorithm, even if the counter offer is very high. The back-and-forth activity results in more views. Often I get a sale to another buyer within days of the counter-offer. So USE the low-ballers, sure, but do not FEED them.
Yes I agree completely, if they lowball I decline or counter my lowest and they repeatedly lowball I then block as that's just not someone I want to do business with
@@TheNurseFlipper THX last offer is still $15 below and my price is within average range on Terapeak. Plenty of views and watchers, so... no dice. If more sellers would stop feeding low-ballers, they'd slowly fade away.
Glasses look great!
Thank you!
Going to joint your Facebook group. Great help on shipping art in flat screen tv boxes. Thank you.
You are welcome and i think you'll love the group
I have.one.of rhose little lane cedar chests in my death pile .I also know where one is to source for 5 dollars.
I may be the only one who keeps all the little keys, but I think any little key or the bend end of a bobby pin will open the little Lane boxes. Their key may be slightly longer and have a more profound "L" at the end, but the little diary lock keys will open them.
Oh great to know, thank you. I actually might have some that will work for the rest. I'll have to take a look.
Music boxes are super easy to fix. Most just need a squirt of WD40. RUclips it.
Not only am I hesitant to take a low offer, but I also don't feel confident on original pricing. I subscribe to Worthpoint, but if it is original, like artwork, I usually can't find a comparable. How do you get things like this appraised?
I don't i price where I'm happy with the price and if they get a good deal and i made a good profit I'm happy
Hi there, I forgot to ask you another important question: do you promote your items and if yes at what percentage? Because I'm new I promote all of my listings and I'm wondering if that will make a difference. The items I've sold so far were promoted listings higher than 8%. I just don't want to lose money. Thanks!! :)
We promote the whole store, trending +3% with a cap of 11%
@@TheNurseFlipper Oh wow, thanks so much!
@@jenniferjuneau7329 you make the money on the buy so buy low and you should have room to promote
I use the automatic decline lowest offer feature on eBay and Mercari.
I don't do that because over time the amount I'll take changes. I used to and items i had done it on my lowest i would accept was higher than the price i dropped it to and in many cases it ends up in sales by countering my lowest I'm willing to take
@@TheNurseFlipper Is Mercari more aimed at younger buyers or older? Most items Ive sold on Mercari is Nintendo games and systems.
I just got one with a story of I have cancer. I have heard on fb groups they do this to get u to go lower. Didnt work. So now they are coming back with a bid three dollars lower then I offered. Irritating.
Yeah I haven't gotten stories in a while, but I have over the years
❤❤❤
I love how your now hair is natural looking with kink and body. Soooo beautiful! 🥰
now hair! hahahaaa
Lol lol yeah it's naturally curly so this is easier to do than being straight!
Can u please tell your hubby I wish him a happy father's day
Will do! Thank you
😄

UHaul and storage place boxes are pretty expensive. Home Depot and Lowe's much better
I've never seen flat screen TV boxes there?
They are available on line
@@maryanne2939 i think one of the ones i linked was actually lowes lol. I normally look for Amazon warehouse deals first but they're still expensive for bigger ones
Lol so you are saying I can say I can sell my old scrubs for about what I originally paid for them.
I sold quite a few of mine that were in good condition when i stopped nursing, but i find them all the time for $1 at thrift stores now
Mercari has been way better than eBay or Posh
Interesting for us it's been steady but still at about 5% of what we sell on eBay
