Remember spots do not matter on a goose down comforter unless there is something gross because you can't use a goose down comforter naked you have to put a duvet on it. Some goose down comforters sell for 2 to $3,000. I noticed that that one was only 75% down the expensive ones are 100% down and they sell them by the loft which means the weight or the warmth. They measure that in the baffles, which are the squares, so the tighter the down is packed into the baffles,the warmer and more expensive it is.

Bella Notre is a boutique linen fabrication company in Northern California. They hand dye their Silk blend fabrics in small batches. Although very delicate looking, their sheets, shame and duvet covers are machine washable! I found a lumbar bed pillow at Goodwill, and was stunned to find out they detail for $350 each. So, definitely worth picking up!

Hi Kat! Thanks again for another informative video! I’ve had a couple really nice comforter sets I was wondering how to ship! Great idea with the storage bags! Btw, toile is pronounced twaal.🙂 The only reason I know that is that my mom bought a set of toile decorative pillows years ago & told me. Lol! She gave them to me awhile back and they’re on my couch now! Lol!

My biggest hesitation on picking one up is taking the photos. Items that take extra work to photograph ends up being put aside until I force myself to figure it out, and comforters are really big to set aside. But thanks for the inspiration to look through linens closer.
So what I typically do is wait until I have 5 that I need to photograph on my bed and then do all at once. I got lucky last time and found so many that we photographed right away. For a couple hundred I get motivated lol

Putting them on the bed certainly makes the most sense and I will be more aggressive in my search. Because a couple hundred sounds amazing 🤑

LOL I remove my nightstands and use AI on photoroom to make a bedroom lol!!! If you look at my listings you'll see my bed in them but photoshopped night stands LOL

Thank you for this! And right at the end you answered the question I was going to ask about shipping! I did notice that some had shipping of $100 and others around $50. Those really expensive ones had free shipping. With that kind of profit I guess that's okay too! If the bedding looks clean, would you bother to launder it? Major undertaking and I'd be worried about damaging it!

As a reseller is it easier to launder thick or down comforters yourself, or send to dry cleaners?
We launder ourselves
Just ensure that you dry it thoroughly because that’s hard to do if using washer/dryer. If you can find one of those home dry cleaning kits, that’s easier. Also, I would say that the ability to do it at home is highly dependent on the size of the washer/dryer!

My pleasure and I think it's the very least I can do considering you do all the research and the paperwork which is the bane of my existence. I just loved nursing but I hated paperwork, I would end up working for free because I hated doing notes so much.

under $50 in double black commercial trash bags with a label and over $50 I squash in a box. I have just ordered the vacuum sealer bags and I'm hoping that will allow us to use smaller boxes, and please ignore people being rude :-) Thank you for watching
