I'm so into the low-key but emotional dark trance vibe of their work. "Run" from the newer EP also really grabbed me and said "I'm an instant darkwave club classic". Thank you KEXP for the continued exposure of these wonderful artists.

Robert is some weird mixture of Brian Molko and Luis Vasquez.. He's the Kurt Cobain of darkwave. Wish I had of been the one to manage his band/music 😩 It'll fade into cult obscurity when it should of been massive. Utterly incredible talent.

I have absolutely come to love TR/ST. Another Goth sister turned me on to the sound of this band. I have now listened to all four albums. The music is otherworldly. Ah, the sounds of teenagers jumping into adulthood. The melancholy, the depression, the sadness of not being a kid anymore and having so much responsibilities. Everything changed and everything was different. The old you is no more. Struggling to find the big questions in life. It's either you jump in to the ship of existential crisis or you stay distracting yourself with drugs, drinks and social life. Despite these confusions, you got through. But then you realize you are not a teenager anymore. this what TR/ST music make think of
At first I was gonna disagree with this but then I realized I associate TRST with obscene drunkenness and drug-taking right after graduating high school haha
Sometimes at night I wake up. I think about destroyer and the melody keeps me company until I get back to sleep. Not always sure if it’s a blessing or a curse sometimes but I love it either way ❤️

Completely agree with. Songs from The Destroyer are nice (cause TR/ST is fabulous) but unmatchable from the magic from first (or even second) album.
