Thanks so much! You have helped a lot, I have an exam next day and with you I have learned the things I didn't understand in class. So grateful! You have won my suscription. (First time watching one of your videos)😊 P.D.: Sorry for the English, I'm not a native speaker😅.
What a great explanation Sir! This is seriously impressive. Kudos to you snd your brilliant work. Such contributions will do wonders to humanity and science. Superb! Well done!
If the box is on a horizontal surface and there is no other force than gravity the normal force will equal the weight 2-if there was pressure on the box the normal force will increase normal force=weight+the pressure 3- if there was a rope pulling the box the normal force will decrease normal force =weight-the tension force
I have a question on 16:23 . Can we use the equation Fn= -W + Ty instead because since the weight force is acting downwards then I see it better as negative. Or should I just use that one. Please answer this has been a question of mine but I can’t seem to find a solid answer
Great video! One question: At around 3:42, what do you mean by "lift up?" If you lifted the block up, then it wouldn't be in contact with another object. This would mean that there would be no normal force then. Can you/someone explain please? Cheers!
You dont actually lift it up u just apply some pulling force using the robe hence decreasing the load of the box on the table without lifting it ... Try to imagine it
It simply don't apply the necessary force to lift the block up, it just decreases the weight that the block is applying to the surface. Hope you understood! P.D: I don't know why I'm explaining it, you have already received an answer two years ago (I didn't realize until I revised my grammar🤣).
See 11:52 Okay. So the normal force pushes up and gravity pushes down. So nothing happens since they are equal. Yay! Normal force only apples when it is touching the ground. But since it is not touching the surface no more, there is no normal force. Assume it is still on the ground now. Now in the gravitational force was bigger than the normal force.... we get squished flatter than flat Stanley :(
if it involves an angle, then most likely you should be resolving it into vertical and horizontal components. For instance, if there's block on an inclined plane which is displaced as 30 degree from the horizontal , then the normal force will be weight cos 30. and in order to determine the force that is parallel to the inclined plane, then it would be weight sin 30.
For Angeled planes it’s the opposite. Instead of using cos to find X value, you use sin. So just think of it as the opposite 😊 im sure u can find some explanations on why but the basis is that it’s opposite for an inclinded plane

How do you explain in ten min what took my teacher 1 hour thank you so much
Thank you so much for very useful videos. You make my physics learning process more easy♥️♥️♥️

Yup, same here
God bless you man, your better than my teacher
This is so nicely explained im sobbing

If the body is not placed directly on the ground but on 2 skids at different points with significant distances.

1:30 if normal force is equal to force of gravity so body should float in air ? as upward and downward forces are equal.PLEASE EXPLAIN!!
See 11:52

Why do we choose fy is zero in this video and before, I couldnt catch it
At 16:21, shouldn't the net force be equal to about 34 N because 294 - 259 = 34? You're videos are carrying me through uni physics!
@carloskruut423 Ty is equal to 150, not 259, so 144N is correct
if it was 259, it would be 35 tho
@@blackdoghd3149 Ah okay I see the mistake I made, thanks!
Thanks for help bro
Talking about the normal force at 12:23 , what would happen if the normal force would equal to 0 N?
then it wouldn't be in contact with any surface
But it wouldn't be lifted up it would dangle in mid air
2x speed gang what up
i set it to 1.75, am i still allowed in?? 🥺

How go we calculate the normal reaction if it is being pushed down at a certain inclined angle?
the normal force, you mean? by getting the component in the y-direction- it’s one of the weight components. i highly suggest you search it up.
