- in this video i show you how i started and grew a youtube shorts channel to over 35 million views and 62K subscribers in just 6 months. My channel has a very high CPM (~ $10) which makes it very profitable. Might Make a new one but I've been consistent for over 2 months on YT, TikTok and Instagram reels. So far seen the most success on TikTok having a hard time converting them to YT.

This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my RUclips channel 8 months ago about self development. Now I have 768 subs and > 300 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.

Word of advice ; If you're posting this on YT short make sure you're posting them on TikTok as well. I was able to monetize my TikTok page in 4 days and Right now generated around 6 Million views and earned $277 in a week. (I'm in Creativity Partner Program) so the RPM is much higher.

Keep in mind that the max time limit for a RUclips Short is 60 seconds whereas the videos need to be > 60 seconds on TikTok to count for the Creativity Program. It would be smart to script your video so that it will be right under 60 seconds and then add one extra sentence or something for the TikTok version of the video.

Excellent video and information. Can I ask though, I have been doing a facts channel for maybe a month and was getting average 100-200 views sometimes more. Then I done a podcast of Joe Rogan short (a bit like what you did) and got 4.7k views then went back to facts. For my last 8 videos I seem to be getting 2- 5 views and no more. Would the fact that I put the podcast short in my fact shorts affect the algorithm and my views?

Great video rlly insightful. I think the biggest thing on RUclips is creating content that actually impacts others and doesn’t just drain someone’s time away. That’s what I try to do on my channel. It’s also why I love RUclips and don’t like tik tok or Instagram reels

You are a truly a diamond in the rough. I’ve watched a TON of other RUclipsrs giving out the same information but none of them are as genuine and open as you are. Yes, I started this channel with the intention of making money but I’ve loved comic books since I was a little kid. It was my dad who got me into comic books because of his love for them, unfortunately today he’s no longer in my life but my love for comic books that stemmed from him and my the memories I have will live forever through my channel whether I’m able to monetize or not.

Just remember, shorts don’t make nearly as much as long-form videos. You have to make A LOT of shorts and hope they get watched in order to make what he says he’s making.
Not true. Plenty of people have done great on shorts with a small amount of videos.
@@crimetruth376 They've done great because they have A LOT of views. Shorts don't earn the CPM that long form videos do. So you have to hope they go viral or you make a lot of them in order to make the same amount you could make with long form videos with fewer views. It's all about CPM.

It’s different on shorts, you can use any kind of copyrighted music you want as long as you get it from the RUclips sound thing

How do you spend only ONE hour per month and still get monetized? I mean, I have a channel on a different account and I spend about 2-3 hours per day with all that takes: editing and SEO. Where do I fail? I'll be commenting here with my channel I absolutely do not know how you manage to work only one hour per month 😂. Judging by the comments, more people are failing at RUclips than they are succeeding (unfortunately) Also I think you might need to make a video on how to Avoid Copyright Claims which seems to be issues that a lot of people are facing on here
Most people are failing because this thing requires consistency and discipline which most people lack
tbh there's a secret to avoid that and im currently doing it rn. As an anime niche content creator its quite hard to avoid getting copyrighted bc of music. But i discovered a way to not get copyrighted

@@yoyoyo3439 you could def use another acc to check if the video was copyrighted. but make sure just to schedule it not public wait for 5-10 mins if there's no restrictions then delete it and post it on your main account you're good

My son and I just recently and more importantly seriously started creating youtube content. I dabbled for awhile before I decided to make a serious go at it this year. My niche is Performance engine building which is actually pretty tough one. My audience is very limited and gender specific. I think the 3 million view thing for monetization only unlocks gifts, selling ability, superthanks. I think 10 million views is still required to earn ad revenue. Great video BTW!

This is just bad information! I tried exactly what you are telling people and got my channel removed by RUclips for using other people's content. Apparently it doesn't matter if you add some music and captions - it is still not your content. I don't know how you have supposedly gotten away with it but more power to you I guess.
I think he did an reaction video where he plays a few seconds and then reacts to it. Yeah I have not looked but I doubt he would take someone else's ideas and stuff and just use it.
