His approach and recommendations could have only come from someone who has significant experience with content creation. I'm convinced he is legit
So far, here are my notes: 1. Create videos that could be posted onto your competitor's channels, and no one would notice ( look at the most viral videos and take bits and pieces of it to create your own video) 2. Being completely unique these days is impossible. 3. Make the hook where you want something unexpected. But your goal is to deliver the message by the end of the video 4. Say something funny and people probably would notice that and go point that out in the comments. 5. Universal challenges-throw it straight and ask people sth that could apply to everyone (name, age, country, time)-this could get more comments. 6. Quality and the idea of the video are important 7. Average view duration around 80% is what you aim at 8. Audio quality and the length of video matter( also pay attention to how often the visuals change) 9. You're always aiming for quality (could it be video or audio) * those are just a few insights, there are surely more points introduced in the video
The thing is every video on the platform and everywhere for that matter all have the same stuff - keep people interested, get them to watch to the end, like, comment and sub on it. That is literally it. And everyone tries to over complicate it. I can find you the dumbest shit in existence that has 10m+ views and a really well put together vid that took 30hours+ that has less than 10k. I dislike the fact that no one ever mentions their channels. Like I can rent a studio, buy rip off youtube gold buttons, put em far in the back and no one would be any the wiser. I could then lie my ass off and sell a 100$ course to any dumbass that would bite. Shit is ridiculous, when you step back and look at it realistically it's god awful just how much people lie nowadays.

It’s not about that, this is for people who are trying to blow up and make money or live a life through money made on this platform. You can go ahead and make whatever you want, you might get a few views but to you it’s probably not about the views…
I agree. His advice is mostly aimed for money making solely. People are only watching your content bc that’s what’s trending and they already watched 2 other channels do it… it’s like going around tasting 3 different chocolate cakes with a different colored plate on them. Nothing wrong with it but the only issue is that once that trend isn’t big anymore people won’t care to watch your channel unless ur staying up to date on trends. I personally do RUclips for fun. I like to talk about random thing and have a personality in my videos bc one day I’d like to watch them and reminisce on them. I don’t want to look back at my channel and see that I copied some random trend just to be popular or make money. Like I said nothing wrong with it that just me :) On the other hand. People like me eventually will get big some day. Assuming we stay at it and enjoy it. But once we’re big even if it takes 2 or 3 years, people will watch us bc they like us. And not bc they want to watch a trend. I have nothing against ppl doing RUclips the way this kid explained it it’s up to you. I just personally prefer the latter.
@@i.p.ma.that’s funny. I’m not saying his advice is wrong but one of my videos got 11k views (the cat hitting the window one) and I didn’t even expect it to. To me it was just me laughing at my cat and sharing it but in my comments ppl called me sadistic bc they assumed I forced my cat to hit the window lol I just have goofy dark humor that a lot of ppl don’t like. I got 10 hate comments but 594 ppl liked the video. Point is…. Following a trend works for the meantime but one thing I noticed is that 1.) ppl on RUclips are human. People notice if ur entire channel is trend follow based. And usually won’t follow bc quite frankly they have no reason to do so bc RUclips recommends ur vids whether u do or not lol I personally love ppl who r being themselves and their channel is centered around them being themselves. Growing up my favs were Logan Paul and a few other cool RUclipsrs I watched faithfully. The kids advice is great for money making but it is horrible for long term goals and being an idol for the majority. Great advice am not downplaying at all
Brilliant listening to him, he mentioned RUclipsrs not adapting, well that's not always the case, unlike himself people fall in love with the character (the youtuber) creating the content so even if this person does not adapt that much they are still getting hundreds of thousands of views and subscribers. Himself is not that character as he relies on copying and recycling, he'll never be that character, how long can you keep that up for i don't know but good luck to him.
lol all it is money but hey im 1000% sure making more money than this pathetic channel i dont have to rely on views but quality life is more important than money
Theres a beauty to this video. This kid isnt caught up in the data and backend philosophy that giys like myself with 10 yrs in the industry. This guy says, this converts so i do it. The simplicity is genius actually. I learned a lot. Thank you
So youtube now is just to make a s much money as you can by repeating others.content style This kid said he stole the whole video just changed his own images. Is that not against policies Also for me this makes youtube such a shit platform now. Millions of channels copying each other. This is why scrolling seems like a million videos that are all the same

Makes me feel like an 🫏 pouring hours into each minute of production. Interesting there are 2 types of youtubers. One that want to share (usually new) content to help others and another that just care about revenue or going viral. And equally interesting is as soon as you start producing unique content, you want to go viral to maximize viewership. But more so to further share your content. Thanks as always for this!
Hey just wanna say thanks man, alot of get rich quick schemes out there. 11k subs and I brute forced my way into my niche still hit solid numbers. Monetized in 90 days flat. I wanna say the biggest obstacle I have faced and still face is knowing how good of an editor I am or AM NOT. The part about constantly making your videos better can be a bit tricky. If you are not a very good editor don't try to give people the BEST you can do. Itll be shit anyway. Just give them what they want to see, thats the focus.
I quite enjoy these insights even though somtimes its hard to implimemt into my content (gaming) and limited equipment but at the same time that challenge is kinda fun

I tried his method and got the most views in a month ever on my channel. Also, my channel got more views than 3 other bigger RUclipsrs than me who all were doing this game bigger than me! I was shocked!!! But I have since decided to dial up the long form game on my channel, I'm in the coaching space and long form videos should be a priority there. For Shorts, this kid's formula is gold.
As a Digital Marketeer (15 years plus) , I think it's important to look at the bigger picture. Where does your money come from, what is most likely to make you money, and additionally, what is the reason you are on RUclips seeing as so many people are all seemingly trying to achuieve the same ends. Dont lose endless time and hours pushing RUclips if its something else that gives you the money, the freedom and the life you want. There is a lot of conflicting information out there and its important to figure out whats right for you. (Not just because everyone is trying to start RUclips channels for stardom etc )
I couldn't agree more! RUclips definitely is not for everyone and only some out of the 1000s of people trying will actually make it work. But I do believe if you are looking into content creation or even creating a brand, social media and especially RUclips is where it's all at right now.👍
I'm finding safety in music. Either ppl like it or they dont, and if they do they keep listening. I do plan on using shorts though, I myself fall victim to sad edits. i've shared hundreds of videos on youtube. youtube never lets you out. youtube gives priority to certain regions. For example, if you live in america, it's easy to stand out, but if you live in africa or an asian country, it's impossible. this child probably lives in USA and more than in the region he is suggested. and it's better for advertisers in America. but if you live in Asia, youtube puts you on the back burner. it has been tested and approved .
OK, I didn't know that. I thought that was only the case with TikTok. Do you know of any videos that cover this topic in more detail? And would using a VPN with american IP make a difference?
Yeah I've found that on our channel the niche is very American based but where really the only UK channel doing it and don't see the traffic other channels get.
isn't earning revenue through shorts really low? Like what is your main source of income and your long-term ( long videos? Brand deals? ) and how do you think people will follow long form content with your shorts? Thanks for any advice.
@@derekroberts5931 shorts is an amazing way to blow up your engagement and watch time, normal videos would flop if I posted them. I will slowly be starting a few brands here and there and my goal is to buy an R8 next year or maybe this year. Then I can start creating automotive content. My revenue at the moment from this source is 0 due to “reused content”. However for advertisement and such - my channel would be great and I have contacted some companies offering them advertisement. Waiting on answers. My viewers are mostly form USA, which is a good thing and that is what you want to aim for.
Most of the videos out there are not original. Out of most viral videos I have heard the ones repurposed do better than the original. Original ideas? There is no such thing.

It’s not about that, this is for people who are trying to blow up and make money or live a life through money made on this platform. You can go ahead and make whatever you want, you might get a few views but to you it’s probably not about the views…
Same bro, short content/reels and such ruined social media forever. It’s all about trends, going viral and making money.
Hahha I uploaded a video that got 67 views. Only for someone to copy it and go viral 😂
Like I said nothing wrong with it that just me :)
On the other hand.
Himself is not that character as he relies on copying and recycling, he'll never be that character, how long can you keep that up for i don't know but good luck to him.
best video ive seen regarding this topic and ive seen loads. Well done!
best video ive every seen
That's a top tier interview, congrats to Marcus and the 15yo guy, that's an easy masterclass to make a ton of money with social media views💪🔥🔥
lol all it is money but hey im 1000% sure making more money than this pathetic channel i dont have to rely on views but quality life is more important than money
Theres a beauty to this video. This kid isnt caught up in the data and backend philosophy that giys like myself with 10 yrs in the industry. This guy says, this converts so i do it. The simplicity is genius actually. I learned a lot. Thank you
So youtube now is just to make a s much money as you can by repeating others.content style
This kid said he stole the whole video just changed his own images. Is that not against policies
Also for me this makes youtube such a shit platform now.
Millions of channels copying each other.
This is why scrolling seems like a million videos that are all the same
@@AdoptedSon80 you just described RUclips, Most of Social Media, and SEO/Internet lol advent AI its ten fold past 2 years
You inspired me to start! Good luck to everyone else who just started as well.
Nice
Amazing video, especially because Shorts have been working really great for me on my second channel. I mean, I am just small content creator and I work really hard (I also use a little bit of famester, but that is a necessity nowadays). I just give all my videos a small initial boost, and that caused them to spread out literally everywhere, bringing more and more organic views day after day.
This is an ad.
Thank u so much for the good advices....both of u are the best❤
His additude embodies the problem with shorts. Feed the dopamine centers and don't worry about genuine creativity
Will rewatch this interview many times!
My channel has exploded using shorts! It works! In two weeks I gained 3k subs.
Praying to God this happens for me 🥹🥹
I've been at it 5.5 weeks and only have 618 subs. I must be doing something wrong! 😒
@@stevieJaxWildlife I wish I had that amount rn- your 400 subs from reach 1000 😭😭😭
I'm on day 43, and 306 subs. 😅 43rd upload. Though I'm going to at least hit 200 uploads before I drop it.@@stevieJaxWildlife
@@stevieJaxWildlifeI did yt for 3 years now but started doing shorts like 5 months ago and I just recently hit 1k
That's why I have two channels (well, more than that), one to be me, and one to make money. I need both.
This dudes a legend. Well done 🔥
Thanks so much for this video. Im 53 officially started today and this was indeed helpful.
Recently, I have started my own youtube channel and learned a lot from Marcus. Thank you so much!
oh youre the guy who did that all choices red dead redemption vid I remember saving that for later lol

Incredible to see how you mastered RUclips Shorts at just 15 years old! 🚀 Your insights on the importance of consistency, engagement, and audience focus are truly inspiring. I’m excited to apply these tips to my own channel. Who else here is motivated to improve their videos after watching this genius?
Smart young man. I like how approachable his strategy is. Nice one.

This was very informative I’ll probably start posting shorts soon
This. I havent watched yet but case studies of successful or unsuccessful ppl is great
give it a watch, I have been studying YT for 4 years now and this one video is probably better than all of em combined !!!! even better than the RUclips Formula book by Derral Eves lol...If I knew these info I would get 10M on one of my shorts which currently has 1.7M views
W video! Lots of great advice for sure
Bro its so weird how people progress this fast. Great video. (Hey Marcus if you could make a video about helping me grow my channel that would be nice.) Keep up these type of videos as they help me alot!

This kid is a genius. Don't get angry because he shared the raw truth. Hate the game not the player.
Is he even a real channel as it’s not linked and it’s blurred on video
I tried his method and got the most views in a month ever on my channel. Also, my channel got more views than 3 other bigger RUclipsrs than me who all were doing this game bigger than me! I was shocked!!! But I have since decided to dial up the long form game on my channel, I'm in the coaching space and long form videos should be a priority there. For Shorts, this kid's formula is gold.
This was great! I got some serious feedback
Good luck everyone I wish you the best of luck in your journey
But I do believe if you are looking into content creation or even creating a brand, social media and especially RUclips is where it's all at right now.👍
Very True! 😊
I'm finding safety in music. Either ppl like it or they dont, and if they do they keep listening. I do plan on using shorts though, I myself fall victim to sad edits. Made one so far, blade runner 2049 sad edit with one of my own songs as the music, hoping for that "what song is this" craze to happen lol ❤❤
this is really good information thank you sam for sharing this to us all
zero fluff. I love this.
i've shared hundreds of videos on youtube. youtube never lets you out. youtube gives priority to certain regions.
@@jcashflow8514 using a vpn may work , but youtube may not activate monetization, after all, you have to choose your country in the tax form.
He doesn't even have an American accent
maybe an american vpn will work?
Yeah I've found that on our channel the niche is very American based but where really the only UK channel doing it and don't see the traffic other channels get.
I’m using his tactics on my channel. And it is working. I figured out what I was missing.
I love this kid he speaks facts

btw. In order for your shorts to have high resolution, schedule your content at least 1hr so that it process. I hope it helps
I went from 150-100k in under 30 days. 150-355k subs in 46 days.
isn't earning revenue through shorts really low?
