@@plutato This is the problem with RUclips currently. The algorithm is pushing shorts like crazy as its super easy to push to people. If I was to post shorts and long form content, my long form would suffer massively as I am tapping into the shorts algorithm and that's what RUclips will then see as my audience regardless of the content I prefer to make. This makes it so annoying because we know where the majority of the audience on RUclips currently are but if we tap into that space we are ruining our channels for long form videos. I can try to show more in part 2 on the video creation process but with shorts it's actually pretty simple... I put all my focus into the filming and editing and the rest follows. I don't really use any keywords other than technically the titles which are just based on the videos (and there was no paid promotion involved) The best place to learn more would be on the channel I was posting on where you can see literally every video, title, and thumbnail. The "real way" I was able to do this is exactly as I showed in the video, posting high retention, high quality shorts!
I mean… what else is there to show. It looks like 90% of the work is making shorts that go viral. Yes he doesn’t go too in depth on that, but really it just comes down to 1. Choosing a product, 2. Opening a store, 3. Making content (the latter being the one where you put most energy).
Keywords are irrelevant and negligible for shorts. Doesn't work the same as how long form used to work years ago because people are not usually searching for shorts. Shorts are being recommended in the shorts feed. Many shorts have no keywords and no tags, and yet they go mega viral. The only thing that truly matters is if it has High Retention, and a High Viewed vs Swiped ratio. So in other words, the topic and quality of the video have to be general enough so that most people would be interested. Viral shorts often use a combination of novelty, sometimes storytelling if it’s relevant, controversy (although not necessarily), extremely frequent pattern interrupts, and high quality visuals and audio. It should also have fast paced voiceover, if it needs it for the viewer to follow along. And MUST have captions, as 85% of people watch shorts, reels and tiktoks muted, so this is a crucial part. You do not want to bore people, especially in the first 3-4 seconds (the hook section), because a view is only counted after 10 secs on a short. So a good hook is crucial to get em to stop and watch. That’s just scratching the surface. It’s a skill of implementing many attention grabbing and attention holding tactics and strategies. It's all psychological tricks really. That's why you might see so many viral cute pet videos on your feed. It's because we are instinctually inclined to stop and watch at animals with cute, baby like features. Edit: And of course you want to do all of this tastefully. Number one is a good idea/topic most people would be interest in, or something that's trending. In the case of this video, it's a brainrot trend that kids are following.

Searched on RUclips and didn't find too much competition in the Slushie Cup niche. You need time and experience to understand how it all works. Strategy is one thing needed to succeed in this. You could spend a day batch filming these every 2 weeks or every once a month. Work out the work flow etc. Build up a library of assets. Your main goal with this is get inside people's head psychologically with this mind rot kind of content.

A million subs is the easy part, making money out of those million subs is a completely different ballgame! A long form channel with 10k subs will consistently make more revenue than a shorts channel with 1m, because it has longevity and more room for ads! But people are still going with shorts because they think its easy..
Not true my rpm on my other channel is averaging 17 cents. To get high rpm’s you have to have an American audience that’s middle age because advertisers pay the most for that audience. If your rpm is 1 cent then you most likely have an audience in a third world country
Are you posting just one video a day? I subscribed to you and registered for your Dropshipping course now. As a homeschool mom, my kid loves these type of videos. How freaking awesome ❤
It depends on your content and audience. This channel is probably reached by adults not children. The channel in the challenge is probably reaching children.
I run a small RUclips Shorts channel. When I first started, I thought the same way. But here’s the simple fact: what’s going to last in the long term? Sure, these trendy cup videos, etc., may be popular now. The real question is, which niche will stay, and what type of content will attract dedicated subscribers? There are so many factors to consider. Also, the statistic about Shorts paying $0.15 is misleading and inaccurate. It’s not even close! Shorts generally pay a bit less on average, and it also depends on where your viewers are located. For example, if you get 100K views from the U.S. versus 100K views from India, you could earn $10 versus $1, respectively. Bottom line: great video! I agree it’s not all about luck; being smart, weighing all the factors, and choosing what you enjoy most are key. (:
The problem with channels like that is similar to a sugar rush, when people get tired of the content they’ll go elsewhere and your views will talk. The best way to grow a channel is organically, people that will stay a while
Listen! You did it! You did it without caring about the content, but YOU DID IT! I mean we all hate PRIME, but damn… you didn’t do anything harmful. Congrats man 🎉

true but also to do what he did in a month to have that extra income even if its not as much as long form, so what haha
You have 16 subs
15 cents! If I was drinking at that point, that would've been a spit take. I've been doing shorts for 3.5 years and it's more like 1 cent RPM.
Not true my rpm on my other channel is averaging 17 cents. To get high rpm’s you have to have an American audience that’s middle age because advertisers pay the most for that audience. If your rpm is 1 cent then you most likely have an audience in a third world country
Good on ya mate, Well done I reckon!
Yo this has gotta be the craziest challenge on RUclips EVER
I love that your videos are so honest and with real results. Keep it up!
Crazy video!! Might try this out

My guy doesnt even have 1 million subs on his main acc 😂😂😂 like wtf
Hes in a different and somewhat unpopular niche
hands down the best subscriber challenge
It has been a month now i can't wait for the next video ❤❤❤❤❤
I waited for 4 weeks for this next video 😮😮
bro i already subscribed you and i'm so excited for part 2
Are you posting just one video a day? I subscribed to you and registered for your Dropshipping course now. As a homeschool mom, my kid loves these type of videos. How freaking awesome ❤
Damn bro getting more than a million in under 30 days is crazy
in the future 1m subs would be equal to 100
@@VanillaIceCream-d2wnot really it just depends on ur form of content Shorts / Tiktok always have a easier way tho compared to Long form
It’s all paid subs and views that’s why lmao
@@davidvasquez-ul5uefr lol I was like that is just no realistic he must have bought subs
@@connorjaggers1388if he bought 1 million subscribers it will cost him atleast $200K
That is just insane, what a challenge and what a result. Brilliant!!
Can we talk about being on 30k subs on this channel
I was looking for this comment 😅
@@Motivate_others234I think the other comments are bots
😂 i mean... we can... but... i guess
It depends on your content and audience. This channel is probably reached by adults not children. The channel in the challenge is probably reaching children.
Your comment is 5 days ago and now he's at 41k. I'd say he's doing pretty good.
thank you for this video! im literally rewatching to take notes
Why does this channel have 30k then?
Because his other channel is a giveaway of slushy cup
A complete brain rot channel
because there is a drastic difference between the type of content being posted on this channel and the other one, use your heads.
@@Sarimr34nismo Well it has 40K 4 days later, so it suggests he's going to grow faster now
I’ve probably checked my phone 20 times today looking for the new upload! I’m so excited!
It will be out tomorrow!
@@MoMikeChamberlinAppreciate you for letting me know! ❤️😁
this was an absolute RIDEEEEEE good freaking job 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The best way to grow a channel is organically, people that will stay a while
INSANE!! 🤯 Thanks for sharing
Listen! You did it! You did it without caring about the content, but YOU DID IT! I mean we all hate PRIME, but damn… you didn’t do anything harmful. Congrats man 🎉
great vid man. question for you or anyone, when you are posting shorts, how are you getting all these views so quick? is it the hashtags you're adding or just the title is catchy or what? looking to start growing my channel as well so appreciate yours or anyone's help. thank you!
If you are looking out to growing your channel, Can I assist you with that?
You prove that quality does not matter on YT, neither does relevance.
Sorry people but I also want a 1,000,000 subscribers but it's not meant to be
Congratulations, massive inspiration to us smaller creators 👍👍👍
Really enjoy your work and really love how the RUclips community supports one another
Just started my own channel! Thanks
