You shouldn't make the video you like, but rather one that fills a content gap. 2. The video should leverage an unfair advantage - for example, I have an AmScope and I'm a microbiologist, while someone else might not have a microscope or know how to use one. 3. Try to tell a story, even if the content doesn't naturally lend itself to storytelling. Everything else wasn't useful, but that's also information. Since everyone says the same thing and much of it isn't very helpful, it means no one really knows how to make a good video. If you follow these three points, the fourth factor is luck. I took all this into account, and the latest video I made following these rules has started to gain traction, so I'm quite satisfied.

Great video, this channel is one of the best definitely. Growing channel from scratch is never about luck. You have to be ready to get popular as fast as possible. Trends are always the same, just give people some fun and knowledge in your content, and you are good to go. Of course, it can be tough to get to that point when you are noticed enough (that's why I am using a lot of Famester Social for every video I post).

I started with my videos not even being shown, but now a couple consistently get views. I have a website with educational materials, but it's much harder to analyze why people leave; it's unclear. RUclips provides invaluable information, so there's an opportunity to act rationally. And age doesn't matter. Of course, it's good to be a man of Jesus' age with a dark mustache, beard, and a pleasant voice - such people get a huge free boost. But if the idea is needed by people, then it goes anyway.
First we need to stop thinking RUclips is an age thing. The rest, let's just do it because we have something to say. I'm working on a few channels (bloggingwhilechronic) and it has been slow for me but I enjoy it as I learn. But one bit of advice I learned from others is not to overthink it or you'll never do it.

The strange thing about social media is that you can put a lot of effort into making quality videos and staying consistent, yet see little to no results. I’m not upset about the 5 subscribers I have, since I do it mostly for fun and to share value with viewers, but it’s a bit frustrating when others put 10x less effort into their content and still get 100x more views and subsribers. It’s a weird space (just like the world in general). Anyway, don’t let it get to you-just keep going and don’t give up!

You should upload things people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. And when the growth becomes real, you can consider hiring people to help you run your channel more efficiently. The strange thing about social media is that you can put a lot of effort into making quality videos and staying consistent, yet see little to no results. I’m not upset about the 5 subscribers I have, since I do it mostly for fun and to share value with viewers, but it’s a bit frustrating when others put 10x less effort into their content and still get 100x more views and subsribers. It’s a weird space (just like the world in general). Anyway, don’t let it get to you-just keep going and don’t give up!
