After spending a lot of time reviewing I can say that this is the best RUclips channel to compare hifi speakers and studio monitors. I only have a couple of suggestions 1 change the songs more frequently and try other speaker systems like vanatoo -peachtree -fluance

Listening to this on my Edifier S1000DB s, which I bought because of your channel.
Yeah..the s1000 is the best buy...and i am still not convinced the s2000 and s3000 are better sounding...enjoy them pal.
@@endrizo s2000 trebles are definitely more airy and sharp irl. Definitely enjoyed them both.
Thanks for the excellent comparison video. One of the benefit of g2000 is USB Interface since it has built in soundcard. This allows almost zero latency compared to Bluetooth. This makes the speaker very versatile, e.g for smart tv watching movies etc.

g2000 with sub is on another level,, even if r1280t has sub.. the clarity of the g2000 is superb!

Owned both of them. G2000 i like much more
G2000 is amazing. I just connect the sub of my altec lansing and its another level. I even connect my bluetooth speaker (anker soundcore motion plus) thru the 3.5 mm jack to the sub and it works. Most of the time i just listen without using the sub out. The bass is well balanced with the other frequencies. What's important to me is the clarity and detail of the music that it delivers. Its portable too!
I have a creative i-trigue 3400 bass can I connect it to my g2000?? What cable do I need to do that? Thank you

+Digital Stereophony the treble is extremely high on the G2000s. Is there anyway to change that with the different modes?
Swapping between the default music eq and game eq helps with different types of mastering / gain / tightening up the sound, really versatile eq if one doesn't do the trick the other does because majority sounds better with the music preset but when I want slight more tighter bass and mids / vocal clarity/wider/3dish soundstage I go for the game eq but music sounds more sophisticated not exactly warm per say , for some tracks I love both eq its really hard to explain as I only listen to trance music
Thanks for the video comparison 🙏 My Creative Labs T20 started giving me trouble after two years of minimal use, which was disappointing. I almost went for the G2000s because of the sleek footprint but the 1280T sound way better. Scored a lightning deal off Amazon for 85 bucks for the 1280s last night. I'll give this brand a fair shot.

Они сделали выход на саб, за это им большое спасибо, а пользователь подберет его уже сам. Я лично планирую к ним подключить свой Magnat Alpha RS 8.

G2000 are simple speakers for gamers and doesn't pretend to be soundlovers choice, but this video doesn't reflect hearing expirience. In real usage, as sitting at the laptop, frequency response curve is much flatter and sound balance is neutral. Opposite to tall monitors and shelves speakers, small G2000 was made considering non coaxial to your ears position (30-45° deviation) in near field placement. Premade EQ adjustings just compensate high frequency drop for this placement.
Does this mean that they were designed to be placed below ear level? I am considering the G2000 and was thinking of elevating them (with stands) to ear level. 🙂 But based on your post, it might not be a good idea.
I'd like to see the G2000 vs MR4.
The MR4 sounds similar to the 1280s, just flatter. The difference will be pretty much the same as it is here.
Honestly I think 1280 are better but g2000 are not bad for it's size.
I owned both of rhem. G2000 sounds more clear. And 1280 I dont like at all
I suspected that 1280 will sound flat and boring, g2000 will be more lively and enjoyable, I guess I was true

Nope, T's is more clearer(clarity) but DB's has more warmer (bass)
DB's can use EQ to help it clarity but you can't EQ T's to be more bass.
DB's is great for rock, EDM and pop. T's is more instrument and classical.
as I noticed. the T's have brighter highs compared to the Db. That's what I noticed. I have the Db and it sounds like it lacks treble on flat setting on the tone control. My setting on its tone control is 0 on bass or 12 o'clock and 3 o'clock on treble. Sorry for that clock thingy because I don't bother looking at it on what it's actual (db) labels. 😂
I love edifier...have several of their products but releasing a tweeterless crap a la logitech aint the way to go.
G2000 should have a sub-woofer that would make them interesting

But really the G2000..i cant see why they even exist...ok they are small and so...but what they dont have is sound.
Low end is aweful to nonexisting and the highs sometimes to much..only the mids are ok-ish.
Give them a sub and tune down the highs a bit and they would be good, but so...meh.
The good old 1280's just rock and wipe the floor with the G2000 in comparison and are also just he same price.

maybe it's my playback equipmet, (audioquest dragon fly going into koss porta pros) but everything on this channel sound the same to me. sorry. and what little differences i hear through the recording dont reflect the large differences shown on the freq graphs. the best example was the comparison a couple of years ago because an audioengine 2 and an audioengine 5. the difference in midwoofers should translate into a huge difference in sound. but they sound almost identical on this channel.

It does drive my tinnitus a bit but I love them still

Uma opinião própria o g2000 tem entrada usb que muito melhor do que a p2 mais qualidade , segundo que ele tem modos musica, gamer e filmes o que te ajuda se você pegar o rt 1280 você vai ter que configurar tudo manualmente e para me a qualidade do g2000 é excelente já tive outros ele é excelente

Anything "gaming/gamer" labeled accessory is trash other than for its intended use, which is for "gaming", and even 99% of advertised product for that specific use are trash.
Anyone who say that G2000 is better are either gamers, have trash ears or doesn't know anything about music.

@@giannisouzounis7296 u can connect any subwoofer with a 3.5 single RCA cable. To the speakers using the sub port on the back / u can lower the volume on the subwoofer to limit bass or change the mode on the speakers

G2000 are not for music. They're supposed to be gaming speakers..

@@rafaelsanchez5429 I didnt like the sound quality, it looked (or sounded) artificial, robotic, something in these lines. It was not a clean sound. The edifier is a thousand times better, super clean and natural.
