I really love the outside backgrounds you (guys?) chose. the reflections from the glass in the studio is also soooo beautiful!
Amazing photos, they have a of documentary/street photography vibe, beautifully layers and depth too. So good.
Hola, usaste el 50mm de esa marca F0.95 tambien? que opinion tenes sobre los dos en comparacion?
Great photos☺
Hola Ed!
@@edpavez qué gran chamba y buen ojo. Gracias!
The f/0.95 designation is also written and recognized (exclusively, originally) as "1/0.95" which is a mathematical fraction that represents the size of the aperture opening in proportion to the focal length, in millimeters. So, a 50mm lens with an f/2 (also written as 1/2) aperture has an aperture opening of 1/2 (literally one half) of the 50mm focal length. So, a 25mm aperture opening. For a 35mm f/0.95, the aperture opening is 36.84mm. If you put that 35mm lens on an APS-C camera with a 1.5 crop, the field of view is equivalent to 52.5mm (which we all just refer to as 50mm for simplicity), however, the physical characteristics of the lens itself do not change, obviously. The lens itself is still projecting a 35mm field of view, it is just the the camera can only see the central portion of it, giving the equivalent field of view of 52.5mm. As such, the aperture of the lens is still 36.84mm across, and the light transmission as well as the depth of field is still determined by that 36.84mm aperture opening. So while you are cropped in to the 36.84mm aperture opening, it is still 36.84mm wide and is giving the results of a 36.84mm opening. So, for "equivalency" you would then ask "okay, what would the equivalent aperture opening be of a lens with a 52.5mm field of view and a 36.84mm aperture?" in which the answer is 52.5/36.84 = 1.425 or in other words; The lens is, physically, a 35mm f/0.95 but on an APS-C camera it is the "equivalent" of a 52.5mm f/1.425 which could be rounded/simplified to "50mm f/1.4"
Check Mathias Burling analysis on this topic.
@@Nulrom no need. My analysis is accurate. There is no perspective or opinion on the matter. It’s basic math and it’s somehow simply not known/realized by seemingly everyone on RUclips.
@@SkylerKing it's 20 years that I hear people discussing about. The field of view and the depth of field they change. The exposure doesn't. So for the "low light situation problem" you can still consider this lens a 0.95. Even if it's not.
@@Nulrom no, you can’t. I just explained clearly. It’s math. A larger opening let’s in more light than a smaller opening. The opening is 36.84mm regardless of focal length or field of view. That’s the maximum opening, period. If you feel the need to then assign an “f stop” to it for the sake of reference in regard to the focal length (or equivalent focal length) then a 52.5mm focal length with a 36.84mm aperture opening would be labeled/identified as an f1.4
A 52.5mm focal length with a designation of f0.95 would mean that the aperture opening is 52.63mm across, which it absolutely is not. Not anywhere close to it. And a 36mm opening will not suddenly let it the same amount of light as a 52mm opening just because you place an APS-C sensor behind it.
@@SkylerKing again this applies only to field of view and DOF. In regards of exposure it works like a 0.95. This has been tested. Look up.
Great lens.....😁
Bonjour quel anachronisme des images et de la musique de fond bien trop présente sinon de belles imagés
