    Hello Craig,
I've been following you for a while now and really enjoy your videos.
Concerning the TTarisans lenses, I have them all in APC-C because I shoot in Fuji (the only one I miss and the fisheye which I don't find the interest to have).
Of course, you shouldn't "shoot" at full aperture with this type of lens, except in very specific cases.
But once the photos are printed, people don't know what the shooting objective is.
The most annoying thing is that most photographers focus on technique and equipment, but they take pictures without soul, without flavor, without joy...
It is therefore the photographer who makes the difference.
To conclude, I find these lenses to be of great quality, 50 years ago many photographers would have dreamed of having them.
    THANK YOU Craig.
    David.

Thank you so much! That means a lot! I’m trying to grow an audience that will want to watch random photography discussions as well as the gear reviews so it’s always great to hear feedback like this.

I’ve had this lens for a few months and it’s the one that ends up on my X-Pro1 many days as my walk around lens. Very sharp when it needs to be and nice colour rendition, though I use it most with B&W simulations. I have found it easier to focus using magnified view as opposed to peaking, but that may be because I’m using it on the X-Pro1.

Hey Peter, that's awesome that you use it on the X-Pro1. I've been wanting to pick up an X-Pro1 someday. I'm with you on this, good color rendition but most of the time, I shoot in B&W. I shoot more color recently so I could show some of the capabilities of this lens. Thanks for watching and for your comment!

@@CraigBergonzoni I have been using the X-Pro1 as my MF lens camera for a while. I tried MF lenses on the X-T2, but I found peaking all over the frame annoying (particularly when stopped down) and didn't feel it was as easy to get focus without peaking as it was on the X-Pro1. However, I may have been doing it all wrong. Today, I tried the 35/0.95 on my X-Pro2. Again peaking was annoying like the X-T2, but using the OVF with the corner focus spot was great. You do have to remember to correct for parallax error, but that's not hard if you use the centre focus spot. I still prefer the slightly lighter weight of the X-Pro1 though. Excellent channel, Craig.

While I do believe most photographers understand the term equivalent (crop sensor vs full 35 frame) when it comes to focal lengths, I’m thinking that maybe enough new photographers have started out with crop sensor size. And, do to the advancement in technology may never have a need, or desire to shoot on full frame. A video explaining the differences and the meaning of the equivalent term may be very useful to some, and probably more as the years go by. I can see a time when the 35mm (full sensor size) will no longer be the standard……great video by the way.

Good points. The modern crop sensor cameras have come a long way thankfully. And I'll have to plan out a video talking about Full frame vs Crop sensors.

This lens solves fuji's autofocus issues perfectly

Lol I guess so. But then again Fujifilm’s af system works just fine for me. Thanks for watching!

Starting out making photos again I got the Xt1 and the 35 f1.4 TTartisans lens. I kind of regret not spending 100 bucks more and getting the f0,95. Just want to see if I keep on doing it, then I’ll probably get it :-)

Is the length of this lens longer than the ttartisan 1.4 35mm? Is the picture quality better than the 1.4 ? Im not sure if ill go for the 1.4 or the 0.95. I want a lens as my daily carry and i want it small. Is it shorter than 35mm f2 ? I got the ttartisan 25mm f1.8 and that lens is super small ! I wonder how this will be. I hope it's not to big.
