I've been playing the Alpha Play-Test on PC, and this trailer isn't just marketing hype. It really is as good as it looks. This is gonna be a hit ya'll.
How the game when it comes to skill base gap? Did it feel like mw1 or mw2 where they nerfed movement so it's basic for noobs to come on board and feel like they're pro
And then Nexon with their grubby little greedy hands makes this pay2win and it dies in 1 week tops lol
@@yasermahdi7230 There’s definitely a skill gap, but by your question I’m assuming you’re talking about gunplay, which plays a much smaller role in THE FINALS than it does it most other FPS games. Tactics and gadget use comes into it a lot more, and knowing which parts of the map and moments in the game require which tactics, if that makes sense?
@@RockhoundBlack that's great to hear. So it doesn't not feel grounded like mw2. Tactics are important, but we would like to see a smooth gameplay play when players can manouver their opponents rather than be restricted by the game slow movement. I hope this isn't the case with the finals
@kupis1408 I participated in alpha testing and played on a laptop with i7 12700H + rtx3060, with a 230W PSU. On maximum details in 2.5k resolution, it averaged 50-80fps. So the game for the Alpha versions had very good optimization for such a good quality of graphics, the amount of details and what was happening constantly on the screen
I don't know why, but the faded out "GOOOOOOOOoooooooooo......" had me satisfied already. The editor needs a raise.
1 year later & just finished the battle pass for season 1. Gotta say, I love that a lot of the “wow” moments in this I’ve either experienced or know it can happen. This trailer was not smoke and mirrors and I deeply appreciate that.

I miss old DICE trailers like this. You guys KNOW how to make an amazing trailer. I've been watching this on repeat and it gives me chills every time. CAN'T WAIT to play this!

The fact that this is Pre-Alpha and it looks like this is crazy. Can't wait to see the final result
Pre-alpha means they can make up any old shite, as there's literally no working version. That's what an alpha is. So, they can make any claim they like, as other developers have on many occasions, and there's zero guarantee it will look the same on release.
@@NikBlackwell You are on point; however let's remember also that we are entering a new gen phase, with whole new technologies, and developers have more freedom to experiment. It wasn't long ago that we had cinematic trailers for one side and gameplay videos for the other, and nowadays that line is almost non-existant. I wouldn't be surprised if this game looks like this or even better when it get released. Allow the benefit of the doubt.

As a Playtester, I have to say that this is a company that actually cares about their game. They actually have a polished and real game for a PLAYTEST, not even release, whereas other studios would just chuck unfinished buggy products into the game as a BETA. The game of course is not perfect, but it is MOST DEFINITELY within the realm of acceptability as it is just rough corners instead of a rough block.

Played the closed one and now the open one. Truly a DICE experience!! Not the recent ones, the things that made DICE a name in the industry!! Skill ceiling is very high, but accessible anyways! Feels great, works great. This is a Big thing!
Parts of the map look like Seine Crossing from BF3. This is the kind of destruction I've come to expect from former DICE, its a shame Battlefield can't replicate this anymore

Remember seeing this trailer and it was the first time in a long time I got excited by game and thought it looked really interesting. So happy to feel like I have now fastforwarded into the future to now and this is my favourite shooter currently. It's so good. The signature musical tones are just 10/10, wish we heard more of it in-game

Crazy to think they really delivered gameplay on this type of trailer. The game is basically a 1 for 1
THIS IS WHAT WE WANT! I swear to god this trailer looks 100x more exciting than MWII and it showcased gameplay from the start. This looks incredible and I can't wait to hop in! I've been waiting for a new High Octane Over The Top Action FPS like this for so long! I've watched the trailer 10 times now and I'm still all smiles. The music, the gameplay, the graphics, it all reminds me of a battlefield style game but mixed in with faster pacing, a quicker ttk, and tons of verticality!

I clearly smell talent with this studio as well. I'm a software engineer not gaming but in web and if they really pulled off this server side destruction where the cloud computing can handle the massive amount of physics it really is going to be a game changer and they are going to be a big pioneer in this field

Finally , a game that applies phisics to a shooter . The falling buildings part is the best mechanic in this game .
We've had many, it's just that they stopped trying to improve the tech after like 2010 for some reason....crysis, killzone 2, far cry 2 etc had us excited for the future that turned into watered down rainbow shooters smh

I know it's a different kind of game but this level of destruction, the shitload of debris flying around and all give me some serious BFBC2 & BF3+4 flashbacks. and I freaking LOVE it!

@@darkravenhun You understand, that the reason why this game feels like a Battlefield is because the team of lead developers are basically the DICE-developers in a new studio? Even though its not an official Battlefieldgame, the style and feels are the same.
