I actually haven't seen a trailer this good in a while. Like most companies just recycle the generic way of making a trailer but this one is sick.
It really fits the vibe of the game, like an American Ninja Warrior trailer turned up to 11

I love when developers are so good at making things, that they started to create a signature to their work.
the sound design is absolutely FANTASTIC in this trailer. and the slight audio distortion over the whole thing sounds awesome. its just pure adrenaline. i love it all!

The audio distortion over the explosions and gunfire at the start was hilariously bad. The rest was very stylistic-feeling and well executed

Was lucky enough to try out the playtest a few months back and despite not seeing anyone talk about this, I can say this game was incredibly fun and different from anything else I've ever played. You truly felt like a superhero running around in this game and what I loved the most was just the sound design and the realistic animations. It was just perfect especially for an early build, really can't wait to see what upgrades you've made from the feedback and of course all the new content you'll bring.

So what we've seen in the trailer is almost accurrate when it comes to the gameplay ?
Played the alpha and it was a blast! The destruction really is nuts, albeit a touch gimmicky at times. There were a few parkour issues, but they basically had us do a survey at the end about a bunch of aspects of the game with room to talk about what we did and didn’t like. In general, a very excellent alpha with some issues to iron out. I’m excited to see what changes they’ve made. If they show they’ve listened to feedback, it’s an automatic purchase and recommendation from me.
This honestly has got to be the single best trailer i've ever seen for a game.The quality of everything from the cinematography to the action to the sound design is unhinged.

I have to say to Embark's trailer editors that every single trailer for this game (from the first one to the last one released) give me tears and shivers and makes me so hyped although I have been playing The Finals for 150 hours already. Massive job on these trailers they are just outstanding. And of course huge congrats to everyone at Embark who worked on that game, it's the FPS I didn't know I wanted but now I can't stop playing it, I've never had that much fun on a FPS game since a very long time, and i'm not even able to have a positive K/D or W/L ratio yet x)
1:23 Watching someone destroy a ledge that players are using to shoot from with a slam is probably the most raw thing i’ve ever seen in a shooter or any game in general.
it looks like titanfall, battlefield and rainbow six siege had a demon love child and i am 100% here for it

I have not been wowed by a game trailer in a very long time. This has the Apex, Farcry, Brink, Titanfall, Siege energy that I need in a game right now!
The Brink trailer was a million times better than the game though. Getting burned by that taught me not to trust these videos.

If any gaming company deserves to win anything then it's this one. How did they manage to make such a fun game with the crazy destruction? Beats me. Innovative stuff nonetheless. I really hope this game over shadows COD and BF for years to come. This playtest has been an absolute blast and a new feeling in gaming. Soooo awesome

God damn it looks good, you can tell DICE developers had talent because this gameplay, destruction, graphics and more all seem amazing. Imagine what 2042 would’ve been with the full capacity of these devs. I love the music for this trailer too.
After a match or two I can already say this is one of the best shooters I've played in recent memory. The destruction is unparalleled and the creative solutions are endless. Seriously a joy to play. But no in-game voice chat really makes teamwork a toss up.
There is a voice chat, you have to enable it in settings

@@StevenHarmonGames It should definitely be on by default. I'm in software engineering, and the first thing we learn when developing things is that consumers are lazy and stupid. (We are right 9/10 times ;D )
It should either be on by default, or it should show the setting to enable/disable it when you first launch the game, along with volume controls.

@@Jbolo123 closed beta was pretty fun, movement needs to be tightened up but it is a really fun game with more interesting ideas then a lot of other stuff thats come out recently

I hope this game does really well and stays around long term and not just a week or two after launch, this looks really fun and something I wanna play alongside my go to games
It's a competitive pvp shooter so I'd guess you'll see hackers in the game on day one 😉 Here's hoping they have a plan to stop that 👍

ive not been excited for a game trailer in a very VERY long time, if you guys can even half way deliver on this it might just become a new favorite.
I’ve always wanted a video game that takes place in a simulated world like an actual in-world esports match. I hope the announcer dude is as excited in game and he talks very often! (like fifa or madden announcer dudes but actually excited and not lifeless)

@@AtomicSlugg true but i think they mostly died not because of the wacky esport aesthetic, but because most of them were indeed just tacky and uninspired and half assed games at best. monday night comabt was good tho. if the devs put some love n care into it it might stand out

@@flynngeddes7672 Now that I think about it, I actually agree. It took like 18 hours for me to recognize repeating lines by the announcers, but that's just because I was more focused on playing the game that listening to what they're saying.
Just hearing their voices in the background, knowing that they're giving live updates on the game, makes me feel so immersed in each match lol

And bfv. Embarks CEO Patrick soderlund is the one who said don't buy it if you don't like it. In terms of game mechanics, bfv was the peak of the franchise imo.

I love it when they let the gameplay speak for itself rather than making a bunch of CG scenes
And if they do use CG scenes, they simply enhance the spectacle of the gameplay that it was already showing. An absolutely phenomenal trailer!
@THE FINALS Awesome video, I'm extremely hyped for this game of such chaotic/competitive fun. I appreciate your MAKING THE FINALS series and would like to see more info on the world building and creation of the game show like theme. Videos/blogs that would describe the organizations and companies involved with this Cyber based contest would be very informative on the background of what your trying to achieve. Can't wait to see more and maybe a small walkthrough video showcasing the variety of scenarios that play out in a single match would be helpful as well.

Its from former DICE developers the same guys that made Battlefield. They split from EA since I assume they wanted creative freedom. Good to see they have not lost their talent.

@@takoshihitsamaru4675 it honestly plays like no other shooter cuz of the games objectives, there are also countless different scenarios to how the round plays out cuz of the destruction. But overall it is really fast paced, quite chaotic, competetive and imo one of the best games i have ever played just from the alpha, and it was quite polished for an alpha at least, i'd even say the alpha was less buggy, at least for me, than the full release of bf2042. And of course it looks amazing, just like the trailer. It for sure deserves to be the next big game and i hope it will be.

Yeah in Unreal Engine, and the destruction is server side not client side like Battlefield etc. As i remember correclty its the first game with completly server side destruction.
@@julandealb1857 The studio is heavily invested in the rust programming language. I wonder if rust made this server side implementation possible, since it brings safety and concurrency guarantees.
@@julandealb1857 so when this incl. its physics and stuff is processed server side it means less computing power needed on client side. that's a big advantage. [edit] alright I've just read the Steam news on this. amazing!
@@Skeeta2011 Yeah, basically just means no performance issues related to the destruction (compared to games like Teardown that are performance hell when destroying the environment even on good PCs).

Said it recently on the behind the scenes vid about the recording session for the firearms: the sound design & music choices for this title are very on point & evocative of the frenetic dynamism of the visuals. They definitely need to drop a soundtrack when the game is released.
