The most power they have is controlling publicity and how micro transactions are to be implemented to generate money not where they go.

I believe that this is the custom games mode, pretty much every Battlefield mashed into one custom games, thus why it shows knives vs Defibs. The rest of the game is a complete reboot of the franchise from what I've heard, but not too sure.
This game mode alone should have been the next main game of the series, and no fancy title like "universe" or "ultimate" just simply ""Battlefield Portal". With all the game modes, guns, gadgets, vehicles, and maps from Battlefield 3, Bad Company 2 and 1943. Plus adding other titles like Battlefield 1, Hardline, 2142 Battlefield 4, Vietnam, Battlefield 2, Bad Company 1. They would literally had 5+ years of content and if they wanted to add a new title all they needed to do is build it and add it as dlc.

This game mode alone should have been the next main game of the series, and no fancy title like "universe" or "ultimate" just simply ""Battlefield Portal". With all the game modes, guns, gadgets, vehicles, and maps from Battlefield 3, Bad Company 2 and 1943. Plus adding other titles like Battlefield 1, Hardline, 2142 Battlefield 4, Vietnam, Battlefield 2, Bad Company 1. They would literally had 5+ years of content and if they wanted to add a new title all they needed to do is build it and add it as dlc.

I love how the WW2 addition is BF1942 and not BFV. Even they know they have to bury that game immediately.
@@Shepard_AU IKR. It gives Battlefield another chance at WW2, instead of BF5 being the last we see for years. I'm hyped for this, espically with the multiple era feature. Look, if they pull this off right, this could be the best war game in years.

@@adverumthegreat4736 I've got a feeling they'll also be adding the BF2142 era, which will likely be a big one and maybe expected as one of the later updates [eg Titans, L5 Riesig's etc].
It's also possible that they'll include BF Vietnam. But if they don't, then that could could be a hint of it being their next Battlefield game after 2042 [because seriously, what could they do next].
