3:18 It's a good thing that you can use a better coaxial cable than the one from the box. RG6 dual shield is far superiror that RG59 or 3C2V cable. RG6, RG6U and RG11 is perfect for UHF frequencies (OTA, CATV and Satellite) while RG59 and 3C2V is good for VHF/FM signals but has losses on UHF frequencies that is why it is used mostly for CCTV, SPDIF digital audio and RCA/COMPONENT. Even for VHF/FM I recommend an RG6 cable.
Since it can receive VHF Low Band TV stations you should connect to an FM radio, the radio stations will sound very good.

@@NorthcoasterHobby When you test it on your FM radio, first test it on horizontal position and after, mount it vertical. If you want to receive all radio stations from you area and surrounding areas the FM antenna must always be vertical mounted so it is omnidirectional.
Last night a dried out GE enlightened antenna bar found it at Walmart for 40$ works great I would like to see you try it out on your channel.I all so will try out you're antenna pretty impressive for size .

I work at Walmart and did notice some customers buying this antenna. Some of the other Walmart's don't stock them or have the Clearstream models.

Like you had said I would wonder what would happen in a high wind. I think the body of it would act like a sail. I suppose if it were mounted on the side of a house that would help protect it from the elements some.
How do you mount it on a mast that high in the air? A ladder that big?
I attach it to the mast on the ground, then raise the mast.
