Hi Tom I don't think anyone's mentioned on how great your videos are. Seriously the footage & editing is awesome. You and your Dad Ginger are a delightful team& your hard work is appreciated by your viewers/fans ❤
Great seeing you and Olly together and how you guys help each other out. I agree that JCB fastrac looks the business, great drone footage of it loaded up with the straw going down your drive.
Maybe when your Dad backed the Manitou into the gate.... It loosened a Radiator hose or something. Might need to check it out because if it is becoming hot.. You can risk the Engine overheating. also Check and make sure the fan on the Manitou is not clogged with gunk.
Great video 😂 Olly said that we've to mention the number plate 😂 and watch for the bales dropping. You and Olly would make a great double act. You're doing a great job
The only way to get a close up view of Pemberton operations these days... Is to get blown in like straw bedding! These guys are so busy it's amazing Tom has time to edit his content. That pillow must feel really good, when he finally gets to lay his cheek on it. I hope Joe is doing well? We miss seeing that sunny lovely smile.
The JCB Fasttrac is indeed a good tractor. However, I grew up in an age when tractors where blue, red, green, brown or white and a JCB meant a plant equipment based on a tractor with a front loader and backhoe. Anything yellow was either used in construction or by the council. Yellow had no place on a farm and it bad enough that Bamfords coloured their balers yellow! The only thing yellow that was acceptable on the farm was hay, straw and the fertiliser spreader hopper! This prejudice against yellow on the farm is something that try as I will, I cannot rid myself of.
Bampfords had the gearless & wuffler, vicon acrobat did half a job with yellow wheels... Of course the John Deere has always splodged the yellow about, some say green is unlucky but JD been around the block on it... The Mini moline would have offended you lots, not that many over here though...lol.. Your prejudice probable comes from the slogan " Dont eat yellow snow" some prejudie are good...
I'm so sorry about your sheep! Being a farmer, you know this is part of the job, but it is still sad and a reminder that we're always at the mercy of circumstances beyond our control.
I haven't seen a flat eight for over 30 years , it brought back some happy memories . last one I used had a bent hook and a really bad habit of dropping one bale lol
Dear Tom , you saying that 2021 straw was "Vintage" made me laugh as a friend of mine from the Village of Urchfont in Wiltshire has been using straw from 1997 as bedding for her horses after getting her cottage re-thatched as some of her old roof was still good after all that time , propper vintage straw use 😆
Come on JCB, give Tom a loadall on long term demo. Tom in a Fastrac would probably demolish too much of the farm. Are your cows now mooing with a Liverpool accent? Olly at 7:33 😆.
I had to answer the door while this video was playing. All I heard was ' don't tell Dad' followed by, "Oh No. Oh no, oh, no. OH NO! " 😂😂 We won't tell Tom 😉
Tom I love your content and I watch it religiously when you upload and buy so much merch. You've just gained extra fan points today for including a Becky Hill song into your video as she's my favourite singer haha. #TPFARMLIFE ❤
6 strings was the equivalent of 3 strings Tom 😂 stuff that good see you both together saw it on ollys channel but your both a good laugh together, have fun and stay safe 👍
i learned to drive on a ford 5000 that was our loader tractor, cloth cab , concrete block on the back! was a great tractor, lasted until HGVs become too big to load with it
I notice only broughtthe straw to you instead of lending you the tractor since the silage 😂 , you are doing great things with all the changes and keep up the good work 👏
If the straw is well dry, you can pull the strings of when its lying flat too. Also barley straw is more tasteful they say, so wheatstraw is better for bedding as they dont eat their beds as much 😅. As a horsefarmer we use a lot, still have 40 ton in the barn and still not sure if it's enough till the new harvest 😅.
I give you a good one. I was in my local john deer dealer in tipperary Ireland. Friday 31 March. They were celebrating 40 years in business . They had open day. I saw a neighbour john deer 2040 done up. Last time I saw it was in middle of a field. They got two years ago did it up for day.
Tom .. you know Olly won't let you forget dropping those bales!! Every so often you'll get that same little clip of film on WhatsApp from him.. I watch the both of you...that drive from his to yours by the A roads is some trek.(HGV driver)
Get the Professional Struggler in Tom , You said you would on Here RUclips , Great footage and don`t loose the Manitou , Let him sort it before it`s to late. 👍
So when are JCB going to sponsor you and give a tele-handler and a fast track. It seems like a great British companies chance to support a great British farmer, it seems like the perfect fit.
Tom thank God for videos hold on to your library of your videos of your Dad, because if there’s one thing sad about our lives is everyone passes away and your father is leaving you a wealth of info on these videos and with all due respect I pray 🙏 that your Dad hangs around for many years to come. God bless you and your entire family as you continue building your farm and accomplishing your many dreams ❤🙏🇺🇸🙏🇬🇧❤️.
Here is the way to think about how good the straw is when you have none of your own anything is better than nothing. LOL. I really enjoy you vidioes i never miss any thank you Tom from Nebraska USA
We've got the same chopper at work ... U wanna get the knots on top and lay the bales on m they flat cut em ontop so the knots on the back door side and tank the strings out ... They feed so much better like that we stack 2 like that and it just eats it
Great video Tom apparently we have been given permission to to take the Micky out of you because you broke somebody reg plate oops and the cows enjoy the straw being blown on them very enjoyable one keep up with the great videos 👏👏👍👍
Some videos ago you were eating a sambo! In this video you were eating an apple! I as a farmer am amazed that never get positioned while eating food with our filthy hands!!!! Yum! Yum! I reckon the cow poo just adds flavour!
Our first loader tractor was a John Deere 3140 with a 978 tanco loader and sadly after 34 years of service and the most reliable machine on the farm with 32000 hours work our Volvo L50 is leaving us this week a mighty machine 😢
Good to see the Ginger upholding the twine cutting traditions of cutting at the knots...You youngsters dont understand... Cut at the knots & hang the twine on a nail in the cow stall, so that when you needed a piece you could pull it out of the bunch easy, Eh Ginger...
I'll counter the number plate gag with Olly paying to reseed the newly seeded grass he ruined with his JCB.🤣🤣
Olly told me to remind you of his bent license plate 🤣🤣
He did

Ginger is moving very briskly, hope the knees are doing well. Like seeing him active & about.
👍👍Great video. Fun to see Olly giving you the gears. Cheers.
What a fine tractor that JCB is indeed 👌👌👌
His head popping into the shot made me laugh.
Yeah that was comical.
Father has major twine skills! Forget Finding a needle in a haystack. Find the twine knot in the bale 😘👏🏻👏🏻
NUMBER PLATE !!!!! HARR-HARRR .Nice one tom. Fastrack helps out again TOP-TEAM

Hahahah 😂😂😂
JCB you should get as they are UK based maybe even ask if you could be a trial farm with their hydrogen engine
get one of their tele handlers too :)
I was about to suggest the same thing! Some really interesting content about the JCB hydrogen engine on Harry's Garage.
Tom you need to test a fendt. We just bought a new 516 super nimble and rides and drives like a rolls Royce. Truly the nicest tractor we’ve ever run
How is Olly’s number plate on the back of his trailer Tom ? 😂😂😂

You owe olly a new number plate Tom 😊
You bent olly's number plate👌
"I might of cracked his numberplate" 😂😂 that should of been followed by "I might of dropped a bale or two" 😜🤣🤣 Great video Tom, thank you 👍👍

We use sawdust to bed the cubicles. We have a separator though. So solids go into a clamp and liquid goes into the slurry pond

If I had the choice between the two tractors I'd pick the JCB. It's also a great looking tractor.
JCB definitely. 😊
Hah, hah, hah, hah.....I find it so funny when you say that to your Fatherrrrr...LOL
We bought a jcb tractor just for the transport, mostly our cows on weekly base but also for straw.

How do you calculate hours on a tractor?
Would it be possible to leave the cattle out all winter in Lancashire, or would the land be too wet?
Good video Tom as always keep up the good work. I would like to see you in a fendt 724 or something modle you was thinking of.
Crackin video. A little tlc and the Manitou will keep going a long time. Spend it on more solar.
Sorry Tom but I promised Olly I’d mention his number plate that you cracked!! 😂😢Great video. 🚜👍
Trailer looked better full - Atleast the number plate was intact then 🤣
Also, I now have this vision of Olly as Mrs Doubtfire "Help is on the way" 😂
