Them started pretty good in the cold 😎 the key is a strong battery, good healthy engine, preaheater and starter. A well-maintained machine should always start good 👍🏻
Nice video! I do love a Ford tractor, my uncle had one when I was a kid. Strange the Takeuchi didn't work as we had an 8.5 tonne version on a site I worked on last year and the cold didn't seem to phase it much, dead battery perhaps? I saw the chipper video, I love woodchippers of all sizes, there's something about them, a simple elegant machine designed for one job which is so satisfying to watch.
5610s have usually got a heater on the key but they usually have an excess fuel button on the pump if it was a 66 or a 7610 and 4x4 I’d have probably bought it.😁
Another awesome vlog, excellent idea Max , you wont get many snow cold starts vlogs like that for a while 👍thought Mike was practicing to join the pogues instrumental band 😂😂
Hi James + Max, Looks like you got a bit of the white stuff falling around you, I thought it doesn't snow in Cornwall and Devon, we have had a fair bit of snow in Wrexham over the past few days most of it has disappeared now we getting some rain now and it about 4c to 5c. Shame about two non starters, what you need is a Stihl MS 162🤣🤣 the others started no problem. No School today for Max, he will learn a lot more today being with you. Great video, catch you soon Take care
Can't beat an old Ford. just needs the plastic mudguard ends, and then it will look really smart he has made a very good job so far . I was surprised with all the snow half expecting a snowball fight was hoping Max gave you a good snowball shot .
Hi James, ain’t cold enough to trouble most engines unless it’s a David Brown or a 4 cylinder Massey 35 they are a problem to start on a June day lol. This bloody snow was no even any good for sledging it was too soft and fluffy you just sank through it into the mud and we had 4 or 5 inches .
The case has a cold start you pull the starter out just shy of halfway. I'm pretty certain it will have it as our international 584 has it and it's great
With my 584 you hold the key nearly all the way on and she fires right up no matter what the weather can't beat the 584 she does everything I ask of her the international is an awesome tractor 👍
@shane8644 my grandad reckons ours is a rare model as it has the fuel tank under the front of the cab rather then the back but ours must be slightly different as turning the key does nothing only pulling the stop out half way helpd
No case or new holland partner ships in your future James but a same deutz fahr one maybe can't beat those deutz ag engines weather there under a red or green bonnet 😂😂😅
Nice One James & Max I had to charge the battery on are TB125 yesterday before that wood start Have a good weekend Thanks again
Can I borrow it 😂
Nothing beats a bit of 'find it fix it farm it' on a friday morning, keep em coming boys 👍😀
Thanks Neil 👍🏼

Love the sound of a cold starting diesel 👌nice one guys
Something about it hey!
Brum Brum . Sound like me getting out of bed 😮💨🥶🧱👍🏽
Hahaha. You and me both 😂
Don’t forget the 695 has an excess fuel pump to start it, start it with the stop half out and she’ll go with no heat…..
I have an old international that starts that way, it's so easy to start.
Your 5610 starts better then my 7610 on a warm summers day 😂
Haha
A very good Friday evening
Impressed with the ford. Out 7840 has never let us down either to be fair.
Beauty of a tractor the 7840 💪🏽

I have one, but not the other. I’m glad he didn’t haha.
9:12 Perkins never start well. Also sometimes they dont run on all cylinders at the start. :D
theres a button on the fuel pump of the Ford that should help it start, give it some throttle then push the button till it stays in

Think the 5610 have a cold start button on the injector pump
Interesting!
Here in Uppsala, sweden the previous 24 hours we've hade 14 cm of snow and strong winds and now -8°C but feels like -14°C.
Dam that’s too cold for me haha
Pull the stop half way out on the IH for cold starting
Always learning, thanks man 👍🏼
Don't forget to wipe off all this global warming!
695 thought you pulled stop puller switch half way out in cold weather until it starts
You do…. It’s the excess fuel position

5610 👍👍
All need to be in a shed!
I wish I had the room 🥲
No case or new holland partner ships in your future James but a same deutz fahr one maybe can't beat those deutz ag engines weather there under a red or green bonnet 😂😂😅
Haha, yeah this is true. Would love a green one at some point 😂
I worked for a contractor years ago who had same tractors and they weren’t good starters in cold weather
Must have improved haha. But mine I’ve owned have been proper so far.
Global warming.
I need some of that for the Case to get it started, are they like glow plugs?
