This does not appear to be a stage 2 tuned car. It is getting the same draggy times as a standard unturned 330i.
Most probably it has some sort of plug and play box, not a real remap with a dyno tune.

Maybe it's running out of the powerband with auto gearbox mode. Should be faster with early shifting. The B48 is not a powerful engine, but a torquey one.

I really think we should stop using the term "stage" when talking about performance. Stage 1 is fair, it's just a remap and everybody knows that. But what is Stage 2? Stage 3?
Every tuner has different part requirements for their stages. For one tuner a stage 2 is a remap, intercooler plus downpipe. Another tuner will just say that remap and downpipe is stage 2, while another tuner will say stage 2 is all of the already mentioned and a high pressure fuel pump. Now you have three different stage 2 requirements for the same car and nobody knows what exactly was done to the car if you say "Oh yea, it's a stage 2".
Yeah that buzzword "stage" is only there for the customers to brag about. Most people just have too less knowledge about cars to specify specific performance enhanceging parts, so most tuners just go by stages. Still there are rough guidelines. Stage 2 almost always includes a performance downpipe(200cell cat or "single cell technology" aka cat delete) and a sport air filter. Stage 3 almost always implies an beefed up turbocharger(hybrid t, bigger t or single turbo conversion)
As for turbo cars sometimes stage 1 is adding from 2 to 3 psi stage 2 adds from 3 to 5 psi early school addresses, throttle response and so on stage 3 is adding from 5 to 8 PSI on with high octane or ethanol mix on stock motor.
0 to 100 very similar to stock considering its stage 2
Considering the slightly damp road due to the weather? It is good. Perhaps with good tyre and good weather condition, he should be able to pull 5.0~5.2secs 0 to 100.
Still normal for 325HP, all you people in the comments forget, the BMW 330i (G20) doesn't come with 258HP as standard, rather it does about 280+ HP stock. BMW always lies on their figures and not only on the M3 or M340i, even on the smaller models. The Car still does 15 seconds from 100-200, so it is definitely Stage 2 with that 320+ hp.

What I notice is that with launch control my BMWs shift different so I guess LC triggers all kind of changes.
@@themightywhatever4884That’s just not true. By 100km/h, unless your car has more than 600-700 horsepower, you would have more than enough traction for the acceleration. In fact, it should be quicker in turbocharged cars since there isn’t any turbo lag when you’ve already been at WOT for 5 secs.

Either you lying and you’re not tuned at all or you got some junk flash tune. I’m on JB4 map 3 with charge pipe, down pipe, axle back, and turbo inlet I’m smacking 4.3 seconds to 60mph with 12.4 quarter mile at 116 mph. My 430xi bone stock was able to hit 5.0 consistently. JB4 took me down to 4.6 by itself. and all the other supporting mods shaved another third of a second.
0-100 fast sounding +300hp stage 2 330i same as my 20 year old diesel mercedes as stock. And 1/4 i got 13.89s
15.xx and 13,79s 100-200 is quite a difference. How come?

Get an xhp trans tune, it will remove the transmission torque limits , and the car will be quicker and more responsive. Still, with my RWD 330i G20 pushing 310 whp , stage 2, my 0-60 MPH time cannot break 5.0 seconds. Analyzing the acceleration data my 60 ft times (approximate 0-30mph time) is a horrendous 2.6 seconds (even stock is ~2.0 seconds according to Car and Driver). Comparatively, 330i G20s doing 4.5-4.7s 0-60 times, have 60ft times around 1.6 - 1.8 s, with a 30-60MPH time of 3.0- 3.1 seconds. My 30-60 MPH segment is quick; only 2.65 seconds (60-100MPH time is 5.65 s, 100-200kmh is a verified 11.48s). So my problem, and perhaps yours, is coming off the line. Maybe it's cause my lowering springs are limiting weight transfer to the rears wheels on launch. If I can launch like a lot of other tuned 330i G20s (.8 seconds quicker), my 0-60 MPH time would be like 4.2 seconds......kind of sucks i can't figure it how to launch better.

the b48 in your g20 has great potential. you can make 500wheel hp and 600tq like @vehiculardiy with about 8K in mods. And the car already handles better than the m340

Buy the 330e, with the same mods you'll be at 400bhp and very nice acceleration

i have on my xdrive 330i g20 16,73 100-200 this is not very good for 60 hp and 150 nm more
13,79 seconds would then be a 3 second improvement. I think that’s pretty good.
3sec is huge diffrence
exept it's not 60, more like 30-40hp, depends on the car. The 330i were dyno'd to make up to 272HP+. Still 3 seconds off your time is an MASSIVE improvement and sub 14 seconds for 320HP is insane.

@@Stefano_Sanders Probably not. The Big difference is the Turbo and the Software limitations. You get a bigger Turbo and MAP the car (I think locket for 2020+ Models) you can get 400+ HP, with just Map, you can get maybe 220 HP at max? Still good for a daily.
@@Alexdbrealso compression ratio is different. But as far as I know all stock B48 have small turbo's. So when you want over ~320hp you need hybrid turbo.

@@bvedant People nowdays clowning on 4-Cylinders, because on Forza they drive their Riced out Lamborghini with a V10 and on mondays-fridays take the bus to school. All good sounding cars back then were either 4 Cylinders (BMW/MB) or 5 Cylinders (Audi). Later in the 20s they started building these big blocks.

Owning a g20 330i with stage 2 done to it this is a bit of an insult :)) mine is way faster on it's 95 map than this. 0-100 is also under 4 sec with DA 300-400. Best 100-200 10.62 on 100 and meth pre turbo.

@@justsayno1734 B48 and B58 are ok in reliablity, the B48 is actually just a cut down First Gen B58. Problem is, the B58 got an overhaul with Toyota, while the B48 remained the same. The B48 is so less reliable than the 6-Cylinder Version. It's still good, just don't push it too much.
