Introducing Microsoft Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 for Business

- The new Microsoft Surface Pro 10 and the latest Surface Laptop 6 are versatile AI PCs built for business. With the new Microsoft Copilot key built-in, you get quick access to Copilot AI experiences, so you can work smarter, be more productive, and boost creativity. Both are powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra processors, with integrated CPU and GPU, as well as a neural processing unit (NPU) for powering new AI experiences without affecting the CPU.
Both devices feature Windows Hello Enhanced Sign-in Security, perfect for multi-factor authentication; and Surface Pro 10 now has a built-in NFC card reader in Wi-Fi models, plus select Surface Laptop 6 15" models have a built-in smart card reader for more authentication options. The Surface Laptop 6 has options for powerful Intel Core Ultra H-Series processors with integrated Intel Arc graphics.

Keep in mind the original intent of why Microsoft created Surface series in the first place is to showcase other PC vendors how to take Windows platform to its fullest potential in touchscreen function.
It is not about taking over all PC segments to compete with PC vendors.
why no AMD hawkpoint?
when windows 8 first came out, most tablets have nfc support.
then all disappeared until surface pro 10.
surface go 4 has nfc support

Surface Pro 10 has 2 type-C ports at the left. Seems like no old USB port and the audio port is removed as well. Not mentioned anywhere if simcard or e-sim is supported.
Surface Pro 10 5G models are coming later in 2024 and will support eSIM. Everything covered in this video is specific to Wi-Fi only models.
No snapdragon X elite option?

I would like to try it. I think it was better with bluetooth 5.4 surface pro 10 has 5.3. I will upgrade from pro 4.
Where is duel screen surface laptop?
NFC card readers is the biggest security vulnerability i have heard of. Someone can swipe ur card and then they get full access.
Also why are you forced to connect through a cloud when you login? That just adds a security vulnerability as well.

What, and make it useless as a tablet? Why would anyone want super thin bezels? It looks so bad anyway, like a painting with no frame, or a printed page with no margins.

MacBook Air M3 better ?
I think so tbh, idk about performance, probably very similar in most cases, but the mac just seems like a better overall laptop in terms of usability, just because of battery life, smoothness, and focus on details like speakers and touchpads, both things in which Apple is practically undefeated lol. And if you want windows, there simply are far better options than this surface book.

I am smart(with phone) also with surface pro I am now😄 Intelligent (with AI).
The Surface Laptop 6 💻 seems like nice competition with the M3 Air 15-inch.

whats the battery life
Battery life is up to 19 hours, which will vary depending on usage, network, software and system configurations.

We need Surface Pro with 5G, 4TB, and Nvidia GPU
great products, but won't other OEM's build better machines than yours and make them suitable for both business and consumers. I think even now most windows based pc's are capable enough to do these things, yes i understand you are aiming at selling AI based features but is this the best approach?
glad repairability is a thing. Really loved my Surface Pro 4 until the screen flickers and I never buy another one because it's not worth it with that. Might give this one a try if I see a good repairability review. No, I don't trust service center.
can try to get the extended warranty...microsoft replaced new unit to me without charges tho and no annoying long dragging attitude other brand have.

The lack of AMD Ryzen 8000 chips completely takes these devices out of consideration for me. Such a shame.

Both have options for 64GB of RAM as mentioned in the video. Do you mean you don't see 64GB options when trying to pre-order?

light gaming but definitely not AAA rating game.. the chipset itself is for business and light usage not heavy duty one..

most likely will be avail on sept - oct on Fall season release like they normally do... early year is business range... later is for consumer...more or less the same looks & feels just slight different spec
