Thank you for this video. I live in Tucson and will surely visit soon to see who is at home in the winter, and again in spring. I am wondering if you have ever seen a very unusual dove, grayish brown with no markings, not graceful looking at all, oddly heavy looking, even kind of surly attitude. I cannot find reference to this bird. We saw two at the entrance to Empire Ranch when they landed on the sign board. I find it intriguing that it is missing from the record.
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
So amazing to see these birds! Visited Madera canyon in 2021. The place is amazing for birders! Thanks for sharing

I'm glad you enjoyed the video! It sounds like it could be an Inca Dove, White-winged Dove or Common Ground Dove
@@navarreswildshots I will look up those birds. Thanks!
when is the best time of year to catch the good array of hummingbirds at Madera?
Summer, but I was only there during November and still saw a few species
❤
What time of year did you visit?
November 2023
What's the best month to go see the Elegant Trogons?
I've heard spring/summer is better, although I have only visited in autumn so far.
Will be there mid March to the end of March 2025 . Hope we see at least some of these beautiful species. Thanks for posting.
