I just started this game 2 months ago and have about 280 red nuc and 88 red vouchers saved up. Maining frost team with A01 Ling Han, A0 Frigg and A3 Coco. Since its announced that Fiona will rerun with Nan yin, who should I pull for? A0 or A1? Is it worth getting Nan Yin 2pc matrices? Many thanks in advance.

Indeed maelstrom + wellspring are the right subskills but I didn't have much time to optimize my rotations yet so for this test I sticked to the generic buffs.
flame not in top? nan yin should be main dps pair with zeke and fei se. For physical I think you need to dodge every 5 normal attack combo. How did you remove your advancement for your mimi and rubilia weapon to A1?
Yeah I've heard somewhere that Flame top dps is Zeke, Fei Se, Nan Yin with Nan as mdps. For the removal of my advancements I had to personally request it to the dev team xD
Only one I can think of is if you already have a well invested meta team prior Nan Yin. Although since it's another altered I bet the future weapons will have better synergy with her than the ones that we currently have. A0 is already pretty good depending on your element (Nan Yin Flame is kinda bricked right now at lower investments) If you're currently running a team that works fine then maybe get Nan Yin 2pc matrice instead of A0.
The difference in damage isn't noticeable., but when the test is made with the promotional matrices for each team, the difference in the damage of nanyin will be seen. (the nan yin matrix are the problem with their power increase, and i think tof will balance the matrix as well)
A problem? I don't see how it's a problem. It's perfectly fine as it is currently, it has the same amount of improvement from Fiona's matrice, just as how Fiona's was also slightly better compared to Lin's when it first came out. They won't balance her matrice number further.
Haven't tested the matrices yet but looking at its effects I can already tell that 2pc is a huge dmg boost. Well that's a given since altered matrices are always OP
Do you think your flame parse will improve if using nanyin as maindps? Because that doesnt make sense at all, why nanyin make flame weaker than the old comp....?
I tried it but got lower results. I think this is somehow tied to Fei Se being underwhelming as solo buffer at lower advancements. With Triple flame we get pretty huge buffs from Lan and with Zeke comp the off-field damage is op on cactus. Either she's not currently f2p flame friendly or I'm just missing something with the rotation (Though that's unlikely since the rotation is so simple for flame)
what do you think about rainbow (mimi/zeke/nanyin) bcs nanyin's trait gives a lot ele dmg? and for altered comp, why you didn't use wellspring instead bcs its give more ele dmg right if im not wrong
Mimi, Zeke, Nan Yin sounds good but you're gonna have to go volt attack in that comp with Mimi being the Mdps. Nan Yin's trait do gives elemental damage but only if her weapon is on hand. For altered comp torrential is still better for faster charge rate (Also much much if you have A6 Lin to help with the skill reset)

What's the meta volt team in CN rn? Is it triple volt with Brevey? As a volt main, should i even pull Nan Yin if my team is Huang a3, Rubilia a3 and Fenrir a4? (Both Huang and Rubilia has 4pc matrices). Or is it better to wait for Brevey to stick with triple volt? I have Fiona a1 but idk if changing a well invested rubilia or fenrir to fiona who's only a1 would be worth it.

Yeah, the only reason why her auto's was dealing great damage before was because the values were straight from CN but now they updated the test servers so her normal attacks don't deal that much damage anymore. It's only used for energy charging now.
ive tried the team on 14:30 but doing skill spam like in the triple altered and it does more dmg that spamming charged atk with ling han. yu lan a1 haboela 4pc, ling han a0 4pc, nanyin a3 2pc and 2pc scylla@@TouchMeNot22

I'm just going to pull A1 then straight to the warehouse and grab 2pc matrice myself. Hopefully the future weapons will have synergy with her since right now only frost in general have lots of viable team comps with her.

It is what it is. Hopefully she gets a few adjustments before the patch. To be safe maybe wait a few days after release because some people would pull her regardless of the numbers.
Without Mimi, you’ll definitely be doing less damage with your potential comp than meta comps with Mimi. Rubilia main dps isn’t good, so you’d have to resort to Nan Yin main dps. Not sure how that rotation will go, however.

@@AerithGansboro I'm talking about F2P balance strictly. They have only been doing the standard "8%" element creep on the whale end. F2P balance is non existent. Refer to Maygi's F2P charts - volt has always been garbage since after Fenrir for low advancements in comparison to the other elements, even at release.
Unfortunately the only volt team that works with her is the meta comp. I tried with Rubilia and Fenrir but it was so bad I wanted to cry. Will probably have to wait for Brevey so it's warehouse gaming until then.
In low investments yeah, but if you have A6 main dps weapon then A1 for her warehouse buff would help too. Although 220 pulls for a measly 7% dmg buff doesn't really sound appetizing.

@@Gooper487 not necessarily large numbers, what increases the damage a lot are the matrices but that does not matter to me because it is only damage, on the other hand, in weapons, each star that is raised, can add some new characteristic to that weapon, that is why it is good to try it in A6

I play triple frost on one of my accounts so can't see where I can go wrong. Probably have something to do with matrices and titan gear rare stats.
