    Lovely! I was surprised at your amount of the lemon extract. The one I use gets bitter if I’m too enthusiastic about it.

      It was cheap stuff. From memory mainly sunflower oil with essence 👍

      Trivit, they are available from Amazon or eBay etc. Got that one from backpackinglight. Hope that helps.

    Man ...I wish I could get M40 ...it's so rare and hard to get.

      Yep they are rare but don’t give up hope. Keep looking and luck will be on your side. Lovely bit of history if you can get one for a reasonable price

      Ive had one since the 80's and it cost £25 inc postage and it was just stainless steel no paint on it at all....Now you cant buy them any where....I hope you find one sooner or later...

    I use stainless steel to not use aluminium ! especially with heat and in contact with my food or water ! you had me till you put the foil on the cup ! but great field recipe

    Why not just use the charcoal and windscreen? Using the windscreen would use less charcoal and more efficient.
