Made a Pear Sponge out of a MRE Pears in Light Syrup packet and some pantry ingredients. Did not bother to measure anything so just used some good old gestimation. Turned out great.
Hope the video inspires you to do some outdoor cooking of your own.

Awesome hungry for more. Wonderfully different. Only now discovered your channel. Keep up the good work. From the state of Louisiana in the USA
Lovely! I was surprised at your amount of the lemon extract. The one I use gets bitter if I’m too enthusiastic about it.
It was cheap stuff. From memory mainly sunflower oil with essence 👍
Excellent idea my friend. Will try this at home
Great vid again
More cooking and tips
With the M40 please.
Thanks. Request noted 👍
Looks great!!
It looks appetizing. I should try it too.
So much for a cup of sponge cake ... LMAO 😂👍 good job .
Got my m40 this week. Looking for things to try
Awesome job. Hope you got it at a reasonable price. It’s a great piece of kit and great fun to use 👍
Well Done.
I use stainless steel to not use aluminium ! especially with heat and in contact with my food or water ! you had me till you put the foil on the cup ! but great field recipe
Mrbabelfish5 has some videos with a similar setup with the M40
Thanks for reminding me. I watched them ages ago. Guess I accidentally borrowed his idea.
Why not just use the charcoal and windscreen? Using the windscreen would use less charcoal and more efficient.
Man ...I wish I could get M40 ...it's so rare and hard to get.
Yep they are rare but don’t give up hope. Keep looking and luck will be on your side. Lovely bit of history if you can get one for a reasonable price
Ive had one since the 80's and it cost £25 inc postage and it was just stainless steel no paint on it at all....Now you cant buy them any where....I hope you find one sooner or later...
Yes try not to get ripped off with ridiculous prices.
