No doubt it's a great beach, Ian. I just figured that most visitors will discover it w/o me having to point it out. And as someone who lives here I prefer the less crowded beaches w/o the hawkers. But, thanks for the comment!

Well, I think there are other factors, Cyndie that are important to ask yourself. How much can you afford? Do you want to rent or own? What language(s) do you speak? What are your hobbies. What do you look for in a good “walking score?” Quick general answer… Chaweng- tourist center party town Lamai - expat heavy popular with French Chaweng Noi - pricey but lots of expats. Google search can give you lots more info. Best of luck!

Hobbies include being a foodie, walking. Yoga, swimming pool important, reading, astrology, snorkeling and or scuba diving. I am single around 70. Not looking for romance
