It was in order. You started with my #1 and worked your way to my #10.

The 2010s were an interesting time for punk music. A couple of my favorites are Against Me Transgender Dysphoria Blues, MxPx s/t, The Bombpops Fear of Missing Out, Neck Deep Life’s Not Out to Get You, and Rise Against Endgame.

Wassup s8rs? Roasting peoples top 10s is a great idea. Whoever came up with the idea is a genius

I wasn’t big on The Menzingers for a long time either, until I actually sat down and listened to some of their albums in full. Now I hate them.

That Pennywise album is amazing and one of my favorites of theirs actually.

I am older than you guys. I did not have an 'attachment' either. I just love checking out new music and these connected with me. Ones I have listened to a lot.

Ahhhh. Lagwagon 'Hang' should be in there. 🙆‍♂ The music on the Pennywise is among their best. I'd say Fletcher had a lot more say in the music. His riffing is awesome on this - and yes - like 'Reason to Believe'.

  • @connors7078

That was fun. Holy shit. I do not know Local Resident Failure. Bad me. Off to check them out. (Seen Frenzal many times. Bodyjar also one of our best).

Thanks for the honesty guys, but you really need to listen to some of these first :D I thought this was going to be a lot rougher TBH. (But leaving 'Hang' was an over sight. 'Hang' is my favourite Lagwagon album too).

I discovered them on “On The Impossible Past”. Have seen them live in concert 6 times in the past 5 years. They’re great! Solid live band. Excellent lyrics. Definitely a favorite of mine

They played to Zoli's strength on my favourite song 'Let Us Hear Your Voice'. I am not sure Jim could sing that one. And it is a real pity we will never hear it live.

One Aussie album that just missed was Nature/Nurture by the Clowns. 5/5. I should have elevated a Teenage Bottlerocket for Dylan too. I love #FeakOut and #TalesFromWyoming from this time.

When I did a Spraynard run on my 7Rock site people said they were like Blink-182 😆 But overall got a very positive response. Most were surprised. I don't get a lot of love for punk on there :(

Can’t believe you boys don’t know the Bronx so well. Maybe (despite being from the US) they were bigger over here. Either way the debut rules, albums two and three are similar. This fourth album was by far the poppiest, but it grew on me.

Bronx IV definitely has some poppy garage rock influences, but it was pretty good, gave it a listen after the video - Elliot

@@PunkRockRadar don’t get me wrong I love it now, was just a big jump from the first three. I remember it being the soundtrack to my summer when it came out. Saw them live on this run and they were amazing, they always are live!

    • @connors7078
      @connors7078 2 месяца назад +2

@@leejohnstone1052 Yeah, IV was definitely more rock than punk, but done so well. Not a skip. I have loved all albums since too. One of the best live bands.

The Bronx V was the next album. Just missed the list. (Well, after Hang - Lagawagon, which should have been in there).
