Such a carm quilt. Another fantastic tutorial Donna. Thank you for showing us all how easy it is to use a panel in the quilt and how to make them square. Thanks to you all at Jordens fabrics, you are an excellent teacher. Kathleen from ENGLAND
What a beautiful quilt. I'm in the planning process to make a photo/memory quilt for my brother and this is just the inspiration and pattern I need to pull it all together. Instead of inserting panel pictures or fabric squares, I can insert the photos I'm having printed and I think it will be just fantastic! Thank you, Donna.
Donna fai delle cose meravigliose! Verrei in vacanza negli USA soltanto per venire nel tuo negozio laboratorio, come assistente per tutti i lavori fantastici che fai. Imparerei tantissimo!
I have a panel that I have been holding until I found some inspiration. Thanks to you I now have it. I love these videos. I look every morning to see if there is a new one.
This would be fabulous with some giant fussy-cut Kaffe Fassett flowers in the 6-inch squares. So many possibilities! Thank you to everyone at Jordan Fabrics for continuing to make videos for us. ❤️ Stay safe and healthy. 👍😷
I've watched all your videos, but this one is my absolute favourite and so I keep coming back to it, playing it in the background as I work. It's my ambition to one day make a Christmas version of this quilt... as soon as i obtain a sewing machine and cutting tools that is, and learn to actually sew... also, I still need to find the perfect panels and fabrics (it's *hard*), and of course find the time to do all of this! In the meantime, thanks for making these videos, they've gotten me through some stressful times!
I love watching you put quilts and runners together!! I love the space that you have which always seems to make your project flow smoothly. I am jealous. I am only on a dining room table space, so cutting, sewing and laying out are always a challenge ...... not to mention everything is constantly being picked up and put away.LOL Still love the process and the creativity sooooooo I persevere!! LOL
I'm new to your channel - first saw it last night and have been binge watching ever since! I love your quick and easy manner. Lovely tips to make things easier. I am just in the middle of my first ever Log Cabin quilt - known in the home as my Covid Quilt! I'm now stuck as I need to buy fabric for the sashing and backing - so I look on with awe and envy at you in lockdown in your very own fabric shop. I'm not at all jealous of your freearm quilting machine - not in the slightest (checks online for similar machines and wonders if hubby will notice such a modest investment ;-) ). Keep sewing and providing inspiration and tips. Love it!
I do like both the panels and the pattern. It shows movement without being overly busy. And the quilt backing reminded me of my grandmother's quilts and the Arts and Crafts movement! Thank you very much for spreading the joy! ☀️🌜🌠💟👍
This is beautiful. I like the panels, but any fabrics would work well. Thanks again for explaining and demonstrating so well. Grateful for you and yours this Holiday Season. Be blessed. 🙏🍀🤟💖🌹🦓✂️🧵🪡☺️
You are truly amazing. Love listening to you, love your videos & love your fabrics. I think about learning to wilt but have never tried it. Would love to do one with photos for my children. Love from Brisbane
I wake up every morning looking forward to seeing what you are up to. The very first few times I watched you videos I was enchanted by your perfect manicure and how often the colors changed. The “physical distancing” is real, all the way to our fingertips. Hugs, d
Today i completed a small coffeetable quilt.. its my first after watching donna everyday.. she makes quilting looks so easy and i really enjoyed doing it..
Yes, and from the top of my head too! I have some spray on root cover for the gray, but can't wait to get back to the salon! I think I will go once a week when my local salon opens back up to help the stylists and manicurists recover some of their lost income!
So nice that you've given an alternative for the panels, especially as it's almost impossible for those of us in the UK to get the Lake Views Collection panel prints. Thank you for providing a way for us to complete this design, cheers!
Thought you'd like a good laugh right now, so I wanted to tell you that all the masks I'm making are made from fancy batik fat quarters that I bought from your booth at a quilt show some years ago... fanciest masks in town. Love that you're keeping your business going in such a creative way. I look forward to each post. Keep up the good work.
I promise you everytime I watch you I feel like you are speaking directly to me as a friend. That's an amazing gift you have!!. Thank you so very much for all of your videos. I am encouraged!!!!
Thank you so much for your videos. I've ALWAYS wanted to learn to make quilts but was always too intimidated by the different patterns and fabric choices. Your videos break it down into simple techniques and your use of jelly rolls and layer cakes take the "fabric choice fear" away. I feel that I can follow your tutorials and start making some beautiful quilts for my family, friends, and myself. Thank you so much. I can't wait to get started!!!
I actually liked it at the end with just the 6 inch squares. But either way it’s a beautiful quilt. And I like how you always make sewing look so easy. I’m still a novice and find sewing anything hard.
I love this pattern I will be using it as soon as I am done with the one I am working on now you are one of the best on doing tutorials you make it look easy and it always turn out just as it should I have done quit a few of you tutorials Thank you for doing them for all to use and not having to pay for them your the best, As a retired person the Money doesn't reach like it used to THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART
I love how you tackle a pattern, break it down & present it simply. It always appears easy & doable. Like you & many others I have a small collection of panels. And more often than not they are misaligned. It's so frustrating. Thank you for giving us an approach to fix it❗😁
The link appears right below the video. If you're watching on your phone, you might want to check it out on a laptop or desktop computer to see the entire RUclips screen. Good luck Joan!
I love. this quilt, the panels are great so is the alterative It is a pleasure watching you, you never know I mat win one of your quilts one day. Once again thank you for sharing.
Just wanted to thank you also for the excitement of the chance to win one of your fantastic give away quilts. Its like buying a lottery ticket you just hope your gonna get lucky!
Your tutorials are always clear and organized! I have been watching you for several years and I always get excited when you post a new video. Thank you Donna and Matt, and the whole Jordan Fabrics Crew!!!
I am so proud of myself that while I was watching and you said you marked the backs I wondered why you didn't use your nifty trick of masking tape and then BINGO you showed it to us! I have learned so much from watching your videos!
I was thinking that too. Then the blocks could all be made in the same direction. Some of those big Kaffe Fassett florals would make great blocks for a summer look. 🌸
Thank you for including the quilting thread color. I don’t have the computer quilting, but I look for a pantograph that’s resembles you electronic quilting.
always love your videos. you explain so well, all the steps are clear, great tips, great personality, thank you for doing these, please keep doing them!!
This turned out really beautiful, Donna! What a unique way to use panels! I just love the videos you put out. You always make every project you do seam doable. Thank you!

I love all your tutorials. So helpful from choosing fabrics to sewing them and ironing. Right now while I am staying home I am making one you did in the past, jewel quilt. It is getting to the point where I connect the four blocks to make larger blocks. It is looking good. Cannot wait to see it finished. I hope it looks as good as yours.
Love to start my day, sipping on my coffee, listening to your voice while watching one of your Inspiring tutorials! You are amazing, I certainly appreciate your presence in my life via videos. To you and your family, continue on and stay healthy.
@@deniselawrence7491 at the end on the video Donna cuts out 6 inch squares that are not from a panel - that's what l was thanking her for - showing something else besides the panel squares
Great pattern. I like that you gave an alternative to the panel pictures. I was already thinking about how to do it from my stash, so seeing it was a big help. Thanks for all you do for your viewers.
I watched your video and bought the pattern. I have 6 in chickens and looking for jelly roll to go with it. Can't wait to make this up. It will also go with some of my other panels and printed fabrics I love.
Love the panel quilt. You made it look so easy but then you always make your tutorials look easy. I’m very impressed with you and your teaching. Stay safe and well all of you. Thanks Donna and family. 🥰🥰💐💐😘😘
Hi Dona you make it look so easy to make I know how to knit I know how to crochet I even made dresses for my girls when they were little but I never tap Into quilting I have been watching a lot of your videos I’m not sure which one to start with I was thinking of starting with a pillow or a table runner to get started I’ve never done quilting before what do you think
I LOVE THIS! Perfectly in my colour zone, fall is one of my favourite seasons, and an easy but intricate pattern. I finished my first ever quilt last sunday and I'm itching to do more!
I enjoy all your videos but this one spoke to me (the voice I heard was "you need to buy the kit" so I did :)) Thanks for sharing and I can't wait to get the kit for this. Now more than ever I appreciate your great videos to help keep sane during these unusual times.
Forget Netflix I have been binge watching your tutorials. Happy quilting!!!!!!!

you are so smart and helpful with every quilt you do. easy to follow . You are the reason i am quilting again after 35 yrs. Thank-you so very much!!!!
This has raised my interest in using panels. Thank you!

I think this would be fun to use a layer cake (or charm square with a bigger border) with the same print jelly roll.

I love this pattern! Also, when you substituted just 6" squares of a cut fabric was great! Gave me insight I would not have thought of that.

Beautiful quilt. Much easier than I though with your break down. Well done.
Thanks for all the great tips! First, squaring up the whole panel and the squares individually! I also like the alternate idea you shared at the end.
