I agree with the whole Video and appreciate comments here. 1 Hour Drain after running @ Temp( A must). I also found that if I do not have the truck level, I will not get all the oil out (Must Drain the oil when the Truck is Level) It will retain a quart or so if you don't. After doing the oil changes on the truck I really wonder if anyone ( Dealers, Quick lube places or your favorite Auto go would take the time needed to change the oil properly. I think not. 11 Liters puts you at level.
I believe Ford's new 2.7 EcoBoost is this way as well. Commonalities between the two, they both use these new filter element type oil filters. Must be some kind of quark using this kind of setup.
So if you don't get it all out what problem is that?... Unless you're an idiot that just throws the amount that's supposed to go back in without checking the level.
Yeah and no need to jack a truck up to change oil. Just put it in off road 2 if you have air ride and you will have plenty of room to move around underneath the truck

30min drain, 20min wait after you place new oil in it. If you dont wait after you add new oil. you will dry start the motor and fail.
The oil has to be warm too,do not drain it out cold.The oiling system won't prime and won't start when cold.

So does the dealerships let it sit for 1 hr to drain?Cant see it cause they will lose money on oil changes
