Squeeze the jug on the sides as you dump it and let off the squeeze pressure after a good bit without dropping it and it’ll drain faster the squeeze and rapidly letting it reexpand forces air into that little rubber carb

I just go to a truck stop and fill the DEF tank. Quick, easy . . . and much cheaper than buying DEF in a box.

Absolutely NOT. You'll probably go something like 10,000 miles, more or less, on a tank of DEF. Don't buy it in a box like this. Just go to a truck stop and pump it in like you would fuel. Plus, it's cheaper. DEF=Diesel Exhaust fluid, but I guess you know that by now.

I dont think he meant 30k miles, more like 3k, as that looked like 2/2.5 gallons of DEF.

How often do you add def to your truck?
I only fill to about 1/2 of the DEF tank every 2 years, about 20,000 miles for me.

How much DPF you consume will depends on your driving style and engine conditions.
Do you mind sharing how much it costs you to fill the ecodiesel tank? I commute about 78 miles mon-friday and I’m considering an ecodiesel since it seems it does well on highway which is my commute.
My ecodiesel has 26 gallons tank. Filling it up usually about 23 gallons at todays diesel price of $2.79 in Houston, Texas = $64.71. The range for 23 gallons is around 575 miles because the mpg is quite good at around 25 mpg
Eric....I just bought one too. I have a 2017 with 57200 miles on it. I commute 86 miles a day. I have a 26 gallon take and fill up about 22 gallons. It's currently $4.25 where I live in CA. So, my truck takes about $93.50-$100.00 to fill right now. I'm getting about 25 MPH average. I can see between 550-600 miles on my tank. It's amazing. Get one!

@@ericpena3426 no problem. I had the f150 ecoboost but it was lifted. It was 36 gallons to fill. Yuck. I love my ram. I was never a ram person, but the new trucks after 2016 are very nice. I bought a Laramie for extra features on it.
30k miles? most will get about 1500 miles out of a gallon.
