I appreciate it! I did this because my actual cabinet business was a little slow at the time, and I definitely have plans to build another one whenever I get slow again.
Doing my “research” for this project, I couldn’t believe how many people finish their speaker boxes with products just like that (Duratex, Exohyde). From a durability standpoint I absolutely get it and it certainly has a rugged “cool” factor. But… I wanted to build something a little more refined than that 😂
I've always said "sod-der." Apparently the British say "sole-der" but I wouldn't go for the British pronunciation of anything because wait until you have to say the word "buoy."
Classic case of reading a word and not being super familiar with it. I honestly thought the two pronunciations meant two different things. The more you know 🤷♂️
this might be one of the best looking things out of the partsExpress catalog. Well done
🤘🤘🤘 I appreciate it! Been itching to get another kit and build more but something else always comes up 🤷♂️
I like the finish on the speaker. And hope you will build some more speakers in the future 🙂

Looks good, as you were painting it I was thinking it might look cool painted with truck bed liner.
