Brocky, Bathurst & Lowndsey are the 3 names that mean so much to Holden and Holden lovers alike. What a great watch this was. My 1 dearest and most loved moment of all time was Bathurst 2006. Even though Lowndsey was driving a Ford he carried so much of Holden and Brock fans on that day and stood tall. That day was my no1 car racing memory of all time.
Lowndes you legend never forget the time we first meet when at the Morayfield Autobarn Car show, you might remember my Chevrolet Lumina Nascar car, Jack Daniels livery, all the best Mate 👊
Not only one of the greatest drivers but a Mr Nice Guy too. Having followed the ATCC since the late 1980's I've seen all the greats, he deserves all the accolades everyone has given him. Thank you Craig Lowndes, you are truly a legend 🙂
Craig battling that VT Commodore dynasty dam near by himself with that black and silver AU Falcon will always be my greatest lowdes memory. Made me root for the underdogs and became a ford guy
Lowndsey is easily the best driver I've ever had the pleasure of meeting twice. Once as a kid at the old FORD plant in Geelong in a fan event and the second time stopping me splitting my head open while working at the Adelaide 500
Still the most painful memory of my time following supercars is 888 defecting across to Holden in 2010. Single biggest mistake in Ford Australia's Supercars sponsorship history in the name of the colour of the paint job. Simply ludicrous.
Series so far not nearly as informative as to the inner workings of a race team as seen on the earlier Walkinshaw and Erebus Inside Line series. Mostly just padded out with race replays and puff pieces.
Him and Jamie winning the Brock trophy 3 years in a row is just a perfect story! No team deserved it more.

Southern Hemisphere Auto Racing, is in full flow.

I was at Spa in 1997 to see Lowndes in F3000 there. He had a very fast team mate in Montoya though.

Was really hoping him and Jamie would have won a couple after 2018… Would have loved to see Lowndesy get 9 or even 10 wins
Whincup admitted in an interview that after the 2007 season the team focused more on his car than Lowndes car

Agree, and why were we watching a Darwin round when Craig wasn't even driving
