Somewhere down there, in the midst of the chaos and ruble, one man took an arrow to the knee.
and to think, he used to be just like you.
Now he's a hold guard, watching over towns and cities, while dreaming himself away to the days of old, when he took the arrow to the knee. Telling many a traveler that passes by of his tale.
atleast until a dragon comes and attacks his city, then he gets killed by it or aciddently Fus Ro Da;ed by the dragonborne off a cliff.
Hate when that happens.
If you turn your volume aaaaaallll the way up you can just barely make out..... "AAAGGHH! MY KNEE!!!!"
I love the way they read each other's minds without saying a word.
same thought I had LOLS
I love how near the end Mannimarco is already holding a soul gem for when he kills the Nord. This guy is prepared!
The Vestige took off his helmet.
Holy hell, I never even noticed. God I love Mannimarco.
He’s so confident in himself he had the soul gem ready 😂
He’s like “alright let’s get this over with”
Yeh and then he get his ass handed to him@@LoopyLemon775
Such an awesome detail
I bet that nord always ate 3 vitamin gummies instead of 2
He’s the Dragonborn. The Nord from the first Skyrim Trailer.
Absolute true son/daughter of Skyrim
@@edwardmcpherson2078
Is he though? This guy's WAY older than any Nords in the Elder Scrolls V Skyrim
When I was a kid I ate half the bottle. Tasted really good.
No, ESO takes place waaaay before Skyrim. He looks like him because that's traditional Nordic armor.
This all could've been over so much quicker if someone had walked up to a guard and been like "I saw Molag Bal take a melon from that basket over there."
+Freddie Bell Perhaps that IS what happened, and that is why the guards are so much weaker now after the war, the guards single handedly fought off the daedric invasion and defeated Molag Bal. However before Molag bal's defeat he left them a gift.
An arrow in the knee.
Mr Pyro bum bum bum buuuuuuuuum!
Whiterun Guard: You've committed crimes against Skyrim and her people, what say you in your defence?
Molag Bal: ... 1 fucking chicken, Aedra be dammed.
+Freddie Bell He'd just pay the fine. Molag Bal's loaded. "That's too bad. I was hoping you'd resist arrest."
I'VE FOUGHT MUDCRABS MIGHTIER THAN YOU!
I wish at the end of this trailer the khajits showed up high on moon sugar just like "alright we're here... What are we doing?"

ohh godd...

I love how savage the nord is. He just holds the guy over the side of the pillar and is like "Bye."
I don't know why The Vestige would do that.
Love how mannimarco is such a big part of eso. He's one of the coolest characters in elder scrolls, and hes one of my favorite characters.
I'd pay 60 bucks to watch a full blown movie like this.
Yessssssss
+Gregory Samson Hell yeah. Someone, please make that happen.

If you play TESO, you already are. Isn't that what all those DLC addons on TESO come up to btw?

This makes me wish for an Elder Scrolls movie so much.
agreed👍
You cant have a movie sadly D:
We should start a petition to Netflix so they can make it happen.
Matt Hawk actually this is better than the _Lord of the Rings_ franchise
***** I think with what Netflix has been doing. I think they can handle an animated series.
I love Mannimarco's smirk when he sees the Nord charge him
Anirban Bhattacharya : So arrogant, so certain, so Mannimarco.

I thought this was Ysgramor vs the Snow Prince 🤣🤣
17:35 Hand closer to the axe head for faster more controlable movements ... nice touch..
That detail literally made me run to my brother to show him this. Choking up on the handle of a longer weapon for easier close quarters combat is such a realistic touch, that they didn't HAVE to do, but they did their research and they made it real. Frickin' beautiful. I also love how the Nord, at least twice, grabbed the Breton and was like, 'NO, WE ARE GOING TO WALK THIS WAY, NOW.'
See what happens when you don't invest in education? The entire world forgets how to talk.
+Violent2aShadow At least they can scream or grunt.
+Violent2aShadow :D good one ^^

I can't believe how realistic this looks. It's absolutely extraordinary what people can do now.
Chris Churchill yeah the climbing looks...real you said? Lol
Not just the animation but the rendering of the models, textures and graphics etc! Bruv this looks pretty damn realistic.

So this is a collection of short cinematics, following a high-elf who's super-maxed her magicka-regen, Tiber Septim's Nord drinking buddy, and a Breton assassin who's resurrected by the villain from Thor the Dark World.
They're desperate species. Mannimarco is a high elf, not a dark elf.

the amount of argonians dying in this makes me think some dark elf slaver made this
+Dalton K dude, dark elves aren't that bad, ur words hurt my dragonborn and hero of Kavach (or whatever that shitty city name was) alot, they are both a proud dunmer and good hearted fellas
Dalton K I bet u chose the stormclocks over the empire, typicall anti-elf behaviour
+Ibrahim Abdullatif Not all Dark Elves are bad, but they do have a bad history of being...well, a bit bad. Also their culture and magic tends to be a bit more dark. I mean, alot of them worship Daedric Princes like Molag Bal and Mehrunes Dagon...surely it has to be expected that they'd be a dark race. (No pun intended.)
But of course, they're not trying to conquer the country or anything like that.
+Ibrahim Abdullatif actually, the reason dark elves are hated so much is because they consider themselves a superior race. and they enslave argonians and other such races. and they worship evil daedra. and they use lots of dark magic. basically, nobody likes them.
Benjie Leshansky
You're not an Argonian...we're not roleplaying, we're discussing something.
has anyone noticed that over the years in Elder Scrolls games your character starts in increasingly dire situations. In Morrowind you served your sentance, in Oblivion you ware a prisoner, in Skyrim you almost died and in ESO you are dead.
yes its kind of the running "gag " of the elder scrolls you always start out as a prisoner or something similar
Elder Scrolls 6 will start before you're even BORN.
Jolios PL cu
Your not dead you just have no soul
Jolios PL Which was a result of you being killed during some Worm Cult sacrifice.
OMG so I just realized the significance of the scene between the Breton and the High Elf. I'm assuming that the blue cloth he had belonged to his wife or lover back home, and because of the fact that he was dying and was soul trapped, he hallucinated that the elf was his wife for a moment. He seemed to gain some form of cognizance though and upon realizing that he was indeed something other than his human self, he basically asked the elf for a merciful death so that he would not be a slave to this dark magic induced, rotting shell. The moment that made me realize this was when the elf looked at the chains on her wrist (realizing that only a few moments ago, she was bound and enslaved by the Nord Warlock, forced to do his bidding) and realized that the Breton too was a slave to the necromantic magic that consumed him...she literally set him free...My Gosh this was such a beautifully tragic scene.
O
HE IS BACK
I thought the reason for the color of the was the alliance he was in
EXACTLY. It took me like five times watching this trailer to get the full meaning.
Benjamin Gray it took me only 1 to get the jest of what he said but was always slightly confused about the chains part (should really get started int Skyrim one of these days which game would you suggest I start first or should I go chronologically)
I love how at 17:25 the nord gives him a small nod like "finally a real fight"
The Nords here are like the Orcs in WoW. Honor and Blood and a good fight OVER EVERYTHING
In my opinion, the assassin was the most badass and tragic character of them all. At least he found peace.
+Tony Arevalo yeah a total baddass sad he was rekt by the nord beast
+Karl Panzinger He put multiple arrows in him and stabbed the Nord twice, in reality the Breton would of won.
+Tony Arevalo The Assassin, at first seems good. When all tjree unite to fight them creatures, then how does he turn bad? I'm new to this haha

That nord guy has too much health
7 months too late to point this out but it took another watch to notice just how smart the Nord really is. 17:37 showcases his change in tactic. Shifting grip on axe closest to center of mass and using his off-hand melee for quicker attacks on par with his opponent. This is incredible choreography or I haven't seen enough to be unimpressed yet.
One can NEVER have too much health! ;-D
Yeah, those stats seem a little bit unbalanced.
He is Tuff as nails no doubt, but that is kinna the point ain't it??
I mean, all 3 of them are way above N beyond on purpose!!

player- *Strikes Molag Bal, humongous daedric beasts and diseased walking corpses, loots 2 gold and walks away human as ever*
+Nophatus You forgot, the Aedra were helping us fight him. And what use is gold to a Deadric Lord of Undeath and Vampirism?
+sonicblaster33 Not only do you have the Chim-el Adabal, but also Meridia's on your side. Who's also a Daedric Prince, so there's that. A Daedric Prince with her champion who also has an Aedric artifact has a reasonable chance against another Daedric Prince
would you say the same for every other enemy in the game that gives you 1 gold
***** Gold has much use to the Lord of Schemes, maybe not for himself, but the enticing of people
Einomies As stated, the entire event occurred somewhat in his favour. Defeating him served nothing, a Daedra cannot die, and he is still capable of the same things nevertheless

I'm glad they pictured the argonians right, because the argonians are actually very fierce warriors and when the dedra invaded tamriel the ones invading the black marsh actually closed their doors in fear that the argonians would actually invade obvlivon
Ninten Twunnytoo yes, really if you watched a youtuber known as Rhexx, all his lore is correct and I normally check btw in the movie do you see humans fighting? its mostly if not all argonians btw shadow scales ftw
+Lucas Okemahwasin
They didn't close their gates for fear of the Argonians invading, they DID invade. The sentient Hist trees that they worship foresaw the Oblivion crisis, so it told the Argonians exactly where and when the gates would open. They prepared an army and waited on the spots where the gates would appear. Once they opened, instead of Daedra coming out, the Argonians charged in. The Daedra weren't expecting an army of lizard men to come through and they were effectively slaughtered. The Daedra managed to push the Argonians back onto Mundus, but instead of continuing the fight they closed the gates instead.
Not long after, the Argonians took their revenge on the Dark Elves of Morrowind for centuries of enslavement. The Dark Elves, like the majority of Tamriel, were severely weakened by the Oblivion crisis, and never stood a chance against the Argonian forces who cut a bloody swathe through Morrowind and sacked their capital city of Mournhold.
Also, during the events of Skyrim, Morrowind is officially under the rule of Argonia(Black Marsh), though the Argonians only have a strong grip on the southern half of the nation.

I sincerely, sincerely wish Bethesda or the like would actually make something like this into a full movie. It's beautiful, and it's far more well done than Hollywood studios manage to do with anything video game related. CGI is such a crutch in Hollywood anyway, why not skip the high-profile actor nonsense and actually make full films? I would pay to see a more fleshed out version of this in theaters. It would actually be interesting if it remained free of dialogue except narration, and the story was told through the environment.
Howard Todd said that he'll only agree for The Elder Scrolls movie if Peter Jackson is going to direct it.
So he'd only agree if the movie series started out great, after which the series was taken control over, severely bloated with made-up scenes, commercialized as much as possible to finish with a mediocre work that does a disservice to the original :D?
I frankly think that a movie will not do The Elder Scrolls any justice. It would be far better to make a TV series like Game of Thrones instead.
I would love a movie or a tv serie on the elderscroll universe with this level of detail and CGI.

Answering questions in comments: 1. The three heroes represent the three factions 2. Yes, the big guy is a nord, the rogue is a Breton, and the girl is an altmer (high elf). 3. The guy at the top of the white gold tower is mannimarco. I'm not going into detail with him bc of spoilers 4. Jorunn wasn't killed by mannimarco, he was put in coldharbor (the place in the beginning of eso) 5. The ribbon is a mark of the rogue heroes' wife. She gave it to him as a sort of wedding ring thing. That's why he saw the altmer in a blue dress. It was kind of evil for the nord to wipe off the blood off his blade with it. 6. The rogue may not be dead, for he was under the influence of Molag bal. if you look closely after his throat is slit, the wound appears to heal itself. Anymore questions? Just ask
What's 9 plus 10
+Lane Anderson just wish altmer actually looked like that in game, instead of looking like trolls
no more questiona i think,YOU answered THEN all
+Lane Anderson I'm new and was confused haha why do the three fight each other, then become friends, then fight again? Also the big guy picks that girl up in the beginning, why did he chain her up like that? And who was that guy in the end the big dude was about to fight? Because the elf guy in the end and that girl seem to be from the same kind.
+Quilliam Attari The three are heroes from each of the 3 factions competing for a throne. The Ebonheart pact (nords a viking like people), the Aldemiri Dominion (elves) and the Daggerfall covenent (humans and orcs). Ive oversimplified the races here in case your new.
While they are fighting they are invaded by a daedra prince (kind of like an evil god from another relm), so they band together to stop him with a temporary truce.
The human assasin is enslaved by the daedric prince using magic.
The nord rescues her only to use her as a weapon. She was chained up to channel her power as a weapon.
The guy at the end was a traitor (elf) Manimarco who served that daedric prince Molag Bal who is kinda the god of domination enslavement and rape. He has a relm called cold harbor which is where the nord is going at the end of the vid.

Mannimarco being an absolute boss. Unlike in Oblivion where he has the super unimposing elf voice and can easily be beaten in ONE HIT with the right spell. Trust me, I speak from experience.
Technically he still exists as the Necromancer's Moon. You only killed his human aspect (It's extremely complicated)
In one of the timelines he became a god though.
Mr33500 And that god is the Necromancer's Moon.
Gods in Elder Scrolls aren't the god of their sphere, but literally are their sphere of influence, and that sphere takes the form of an infinite sized plane(t) (Although we can't perceive infinity) of existence in Mundus..
In other words, Mannimarco is a moon that orbits around Arkay, making black soul gems by eclipsing Arkay's plane(t). And that moon is literally the concept of necromancy
Ah I love Elder Scrolls lore
Thunder Squeak that's who he was? I didn't have the pleasure of playing any of the other elder scrolls games just Skyrim and ESO :( I have a lot of catching up to do
I missed all of these trailers, and watching them for the first time in 2022 I can confirm - they hold up pretty damn well!
Words cant express how much I love this cinematic. These trailers tell such an interesting story without a single line of dialogue, it makes me really want to know who these characters are... or rather, to invent my own backstory for them based on little details in the trailer. Like how the breton assassin has that blue ribbon and sees a vision of a woman near the end, for instance. My headcanon goes something like this, and apologies in advance but this is gonna be a bit involved. So these three warriors- the Nord, Breton and Altmer- were the greatest champions of their respective alliances when the war broke out. Wulfgar Hammer-Fist, mightiest of Nord warriors; Delwin Mornay, a master assassin and necromancer of the Bretons, and Meriwen, an Altmer spellsword of peerless skill in magic. Before the war, they were fellow adventurers and fast friends, but when the fighting started they each took up arms for their respective homelands and found themselves across the field from one another. Wulfgar was, in my version of things, the distant ancestor of Thorsten Hammer-Fist, my character in Skyrim. I've been trying over the years since playing both games to come up with a story taking place after the events of Skyrim that involves history repeating itself, the reforging of the Ebonheart Pact to combat the Aldmeri Dominion in the present day, with the Dragonborn Thorsten encouraging the Nords, Dunmer and Argonians to put aside their differences to reform the ancient alliance and defeat their common enemy.
Honestly, elder scrolls should get a movie instead of warcraft.
+-[PsyKevXero]- indeed, I have zero interest in that warcraft movie. Maybe i'm biased though, i have zero interest in warcraft in general.

Can we be real for a sec and point out how much better high elves look in this compared to skyrim?
Completly disagree.. They look super generic here like classic Warcraft or LotR elves while in Skyrim and Morrowind the elves had their own unique touch.
Beautiful but rough and dirty as the elder scrolls universe just is.
yes
They just look like generic fantasy elves now. In Skyrim they felt unique as every race did. I'm personally hoping this portrayal of high elves sticks to the spin offs.
Nah, they just look like Lotr elves here.
Yea sure in skyrim they looked plain in-game, but they still had prominent features such as yellowish skin tone, tall stature, long chins etc. Now they literally look like lotr elves - which is to say pale, "beautiful" humans with pointy ears.
They look a lot like the same old elder Scrolls elves except this trailer portrays them as generic, probably to appeal to the larger audiences of MMO players.
Argonians can roar. Noice!

That was an amazing cinematic trailer!
21:33 Finally he can Respawn
The Empire crumbles. WIth the Dragonfires cold, Oblivion runs over Tamriel unchecked, beside the Thalmore who seek nothing but conquest. The Elder Scrolls speak of a hero. One who must prevail, and save Nirn.
Except the events of ESO take place hundreds of years before the Empire came into existence.
ESO takes place during the Interregnum, between the Second and the Third Empires.
This sounds like a great teaser for TESVI. It would be great to see it take pace throughout the entire continent.
Leonel Cantú de Llano I'm not sure that would work, at least not in the same way Skyrim works. Look at how the Creation Engine in Skyrim traces objects and NPCs, actors etc. Now imagine that 10 times bigger. I can't see that working without fundamentally changing how the gameplay works, like maybe do it in the way Dragon Age: Inquisition did it: 10 large maps that are still considerably smaller than Skyrim for example, representing each province. Not sure I'd want that.
Maybe I'm wrong though, I'm neither a game dev nor a computer engineer. It would definitely be a huge technological challenge.
RoonMian I agree on that part, it would be a pain to build such a game, and I doubt any commercial hardware currently available would be enough to support it. But it'd be nice to at least consider the possiblity of a TES game, in a not so distant future, where we get to see the beauty of all of Tamriel.
The emotions I get off from this cinematic trailer is very different from other game trailers. Very dark and tragic, the battle doesn't appear glorious, it's almost futile as the Daedra hordes cannot be totally eradicated and in the end it feels as if surviving this war is far more important than winning it.
Awesome set of trailers. Elder Scrolls is one of my favorite fantasy game series ever. If Bethesda and Zenimax would ever make a movie out of this, I would totally watch it!
i fucking love how that archer guys little steel knifes penetrate the chest steel plate an chainmail armor with just a quick jab.
imagine if the next elder scrolls game had graphics kinda like this 🤔
brock adams Damn
Game would be hell to run even on good pcs.
2026! Calling it.
Visual Vel - Lets Player I'll take you on that bet if you win what happens
wouldn't imagine that it'll be many more generations before we do get graphics like this
That elf chick has like...unlimited mana did she use tgm?
Enchanting
She's a drinker
Forto resto and forto encha
Loved Molag Bal appearing in the background clouds at 12:30
3:58 Aim for their knees!
+Victoria Jean but they use to be adventurers (you knew this was coming)!
:D
+kane bekkattla what have ya done
This how you do you pure action w/o dialogue. Far too many directors and writers have failed, 23 minutes says it all and I didn't do much as get bored. I hope this won an award (awards) and I don't mean just gaming either. Outstanding doesn't describe this!.
yo this is one of the best fight sequences in a game trailer i've ever seen
I haven't particularly enjoyed the game, but man am I happy it got made so these trailers exist. The creators managed to put in so much action, emotion and overall pacing on top of stellar animations which ensures that they hold up pretty well alone, without the viewer needing to know much lore from the world (in my opinion). You get the basics of a story line, and any lore you happen to know just adds to it. You don't see cinematics on this scope too often. Also I love that it feels so gritty and down to earth, while still managing to portray the characters as powerful and extremely skilled without it ruining the suspense of their battles. That's just dang good screenplay.
Thinking back, I wonder if the main issue I had with the game was that it lacked the same dynamic feeling as the trailers, and simply didn't manage to give me the same level of engagement. I remember feeling mostly lost and confused as not much of what I met in the game for the first dozen hours reflected the sense of scale, danger and direction these cinematics give me every time I watch them. A natural consequence of it being an MMO, perhaps, but I can't help imagine what it could have been without the typical slow-paced questing we've become so used to in MMO's, or if it had had a more dynamic combat mechanic (think Destiny, for example.) But ah well, hard to account for personal taste. Still, great cinematics I am still able to enjoy watching years after their release.
14:50 = The Biggest AOE Damage you ever seen in your life. xD the magic in this cinematic does look fucking awesome though.
Mannimarco is beautiful holy crap- I get a Loki vibe from him.
He looks better in the cinematic..
Loki *is* like a High Elf after all. 😉
4:54 She is MESMERIZING!
3:57 You know that is a really bad guy below, when a monster is breaking trough the floor, just to get away from him.
Probably the most underrated MMO out right now. Such a rich and immersive world to run around it. If you enjoy the ES universe, then this is it. So *beeping* happy I didn't listen to a few negative forum posts from q1 2014 about this game before purchasing and subscribing. Great combat system, rich/beautiful world, and outstanding score. It is growing and getting better by the month, and any ES fan would be silly not to dive in.
You know, I'll make more of an effort to get it
+DaShizNig Locked on. But it doesn't really matter after you get accustomed to it and strategized your use of skills, all the quests are memorable, fully voice acted and individually crafted with careful attention to details being paid to the characters.
+Vin Sessions I played beta and didn't think the game felt very much like a TES game, but it was a great MMO. I was simply 100% unwilling to pay a subscription fee, but to be fair, I do not do subscription-based MMOs in general (except RuneScape membership, but that's because I've been a subscriber for ages, and it's a bit cheaper). As soon as I heard they were going buy-to-play, though, I immediately went out, bought the game (and Imperial Edition) and haven't looked back since. Since launch, they've turned it into an MMO with a few TES elements into a game that is both a TES game and an MMO.
But, as is typical with anything Bethesda touches, you have a bunch of whiny children hating the game for even the smallest flaw while praising games like The Witcher games or Blizzard's games. It's just ridiculous.
+Vin Sessions I enjoyed the ES universe, but not ESO.
Vin Sessions Just bought it today
When it first launched this game was... Well bad. Or in other words painfully average. But now after having almost 2 years to perfect it since it was first announced they've really stepped it up. It's actually a very fun game now and it definetly feels so fresh and new compared to other existing MMOs. It might be different but it's gotten better. I think the game as it is now is Awesome! I think most people just judge it on how it was at launch.
Leonard Dagher I judged the attempts back then to make the graphics look better by putting it side by with screenshots of 2006 World of Warcraft.
"Look how good ESO's graphics are."
Ngungungungu
Dude I wish I was a Bethesda employee, get paid big bucks...
+MiaMizauki graphics on mmo's will never look as good as single player games. It just because of the fact that they run completely differently to other games that why you can compare the graphics on a mmo to other big games like halo, CoD or skyrim for that matter. But for an mmo the graphics on Eso a pretty good.
+dragon heaven (dragonheaven) Not the place or time for suggestions.
Beautifully done
I heard the game is old already but I just saw the other trailers for the first time last week and I absolutely love it.
Should have made this instead of the assassin's creed movie
Wrong company ey? (Also I know your comment is two years old but idgaf)
@@argon2423 talk about stupidity
mahdi salah Well I forgive his stupidity. Nah jk, much love
I thin what he meant to say was instead of a movie about Assassins creed, it would have been better to make a movie on The Elder Scrolls.
I want an Elder Scrolls movie. Now.
Am I the only one that cares about how they massacred my Imperials? 😭
Yes
Your not alone imperial brother i'm for the empire too 👍
Death To the Aldmeri Dominion
Man, Stormcloack are more badass
Seeing the Imperial City in ruins hurts on a mew level
The scene at the end with the warrior charging at mannimarco was the best ending, awesome soundtrack. Just so fucking epic.
Also, I wonder if that "warrior" is you getting sent to cold harbour?
The last scene does look like coldharbour so they might be implying the Nord represents player characters. The trailers end with him in coldharbour and the game starts with PC in coldharbour.
3:07... Dragonborn didn't last long did he... lol
it was a joke lol
+The Author Actually there was a dragonborn then called miraak im sure you know him as the first dtagonborn.
+Spectre 3007 no no that was when the dragons ruled skyrim, this is long after thar
David Forslund Oh okay.
there are dragonborn other than the one we play in skyrim
That ranger guy was a boss. Sad he got killed.
+Knight Artorias The Abysswalker Yeah I noticed that to. He better not be dead.
+Matěj Dalekorej He was the fucking best ever.
+Matěj Dalekorej he was as swift as legolas
+Andurean S yes, did you see his team running on the first part he showed up. They're wearing Brenton armor that you can wear in the game.
+Johnathan Chavez Breton*
Damn was kinds routing for the assassin cause in Skyrim assassination was always my strong suite
Rewatching this again..lol love that necromancer
We want TES6 and Fallout 4, that's it!
TES6 only pls...imagine how it'll look now that Next-Gen is here...
ACmaniacos Im with you, Fallout 4 only.
Only if Beth gets off its cheap posterior and finally makes it a properly 64 bit game that is not castrated, drawn and quartered, and lobotomized to fit on the next gen of UnPlayStations.
two words... Graphics Mods :)
Frederick Fiddlesworth I don't see why we can't have both. Preferably TES6 starts development first, as It has a bigger fan base. But i'd love to see both.
03:07 Oh no, not the Dovahkiin! :O
Don't worry Dovahkiin gets loaded no problem, just always back up save files.
All about them quicksaves am I right
Looots 13 sorry to say but that was nat the Dovahkinn it was one of the high elf’s mercenary’s
god damn badass, best videogame cutsence ever, as well as best RPG game ever
gives me chills every freaken time
Bethesda! Why you no make full length Elder Scrolls movie!?
Indeed...!
Exactly! If they can make this, then they should be more than capable of making a movie! They would probably make as much as, if not more, than The Hobbit did!
Yeah, everyone says the games are crap, but the trailers are the most epic ever.
Well, we know where the budget for the game went.
MS paint for the textures and modelling and the rest into the CGI department for these damned fantastic trailers.
Sort of reminds me of Warhammer online, but Warhammer was fun and had well crafted gameplay, but not content.
Warhammer was a decent PvP and class system in a 1/6 complete game, keep sieges had terrible siege weapon placement, only 2/6 cities available for conquest and most of the high end PvE and PvP zones were available but empty of content. Also the PvE raids were pathetic.
ThingThing1204 I thought the same thing until my sister told me I was an idiot for thinking it. She's a student at CCH and knows about these things and said that a movie of this kind of thing would never turn enough profit to make up for the insane budget that would be required for all of the intensive graphics needed. She also said that the past track record of movies that were based on games was fairly damning since there's a difference between scripts for a game and for a movie. No director worth their salt would pick up on such a movie and no game writer who'd be willing to would know how to make as good of a movie as the games they'd worked on. There will not and cannot ever be a movie of this saga.
