200% Pure Energy from start to finish. They don't take themselves too seriously - and play well.
They are absolutely fantastic in concert. I am also one to be disappointed by live performances (Bruno Mars, Counting Crows, Tom Petty) but I was BLOWN away when I saw them. Plus Dave always chooses to go overtime by at least an hour. So worth it!

Still to this day Grohl doesn’t rate himself as a drummer. You can tell how embarrassed he gets.
He’s one of greatest drummers to have ever played, so powerful and inspiring to millions.

Rolling Stones has him at #28 in the World, just beating out Carmine Appice and that alone is not easy feat.

IMO, this is a better band. DG was, is and will be an amazing drummer... and it turns out TH is a greater frontman than DG, with a better voice too. Therefore Foo Fighters sounds and looks better like this.

I strongly disagree. Grohl is legendary and can’t be replaced. Yes, he’s a great drummer, but we’re talking about a totally different band if they were to switch places. Not the Foo Fighters.

Check out the interview where DG admits creating FF because he wanted to be a frontman. And that is because in Nirvana he felt unnoticed (despite we all know how much noticed he was!!).

Some people are just built that way, genetics. My dad has, & his dad had, thin builds similar to Taylor's. Sadly, I did not inherit their build, nor a little bit of dad's height, but my brother did.
