Hi everyone! Let me know how you're using the remesh modifier in the comments below! :)
I think blender really need advance remeshing tooo like retopology in 3ds max, dynamesh in zbrush, polyretopo in maya. Why blender lagging in this basic functionality as it is fundamental modelling need.
but how can i get the texture back the chair and the dog shown in the video get 1 single colour, how to uv unwrap the new mesh correctly and fast, there should be simple option button "keep uv material koordiantes" or smt like that
Absolutely!!!!
theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee make me return to this channel 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I saw Blender's remesh modifier being used in a time lapsed video, so that's how I got here. They used it to combine separate objects that they first joined together.
EDIT: Also, thank you for the video and your explanation of the remesh modifier.
thats how i found this vid aswell
remesh tool is the most frequently used tool in my projects! like a lot your tutorial mate!
Interesting - are you fixing a lot of downloaded meshes?
Really good job, simple and easy. thank you for the instruction
Awesome video. This gave me info I needed to fix a problem that had been bugging me.
Thank you so much, your videos are great.
Thank you so much. Very professional, practical, and to the point. 👍👍👍
:)
Always loved Minecraft and blender, thanks for the bridge!
Looks great for fixing low poly exports from games. Thanks
Great !!! I love it !!! Thank's a lot !!!
Nice tutorial, fam!
Awesome tut!
Thank you!
hey ! nice tut!
but how to keep the texture?
Top video. Thank you
Thank you very much!
Thank you Justin.
Is there a way to use the modifier to create editable geometry you can bring back to the modeling?
Wanted to use it as an effect, but have to edit it afterwards
Great viedeo! How can I remesh a specific part of an object? Is possible? with select or mask? Thanks
Thanks for the overview! I was wondering if you have different colors on your model, the BLOCKS function turns everything into 1 color. It doesn't support multi color right?
ty
Will love to see u one day
Thanks !!! :)
Hi Justin, I have a head as an object in blender. I wanted to remesh the nose because there are some details that i am trying to bring out and can't because the mesh is looking really blocky when i add clay strips. Can i remesh just that area (the nose) of the object...or is there another way of going about this? Thank you.
Hi CG - great video, perfect explanation of the mesh modifier. One question: How is it possible to pick out single Voxel out of the model to add or remove them? I´m mor into C4D and want to start with voxels in Blender, because Blender has much more possibilities with different 3D Formats. Thanks for a hint! 😉
For high-poly meshes, would you recommend using Remesh for decimation or just use the Decimate modifier or combination of both? Thanks for explaining the Remesh modifier by the way. I learning Blender and have been hearing the term "remesh" and this video was the first on the list of results and easy to understand.
I love to use it in text retopo
thank u
Is there a way to keep the color of the object when you remesh? Any time I remesh it turns into solid grey but I want the object to keep the same colors before remesh!
I have the same issue, did you find it out?
@@window_n1 unfortunately not
im currently having this problem, ever come up with a fix or workaround?
@@noarsy7716 unfortunately not
@@AnthonyTori sad to hear. thanks for the quick response on such an old comment
When I make my model blocky, the blocks are at an angle.
How do I fix this?
I have a problem while using the remesh; the texture on my mesh disappears from object mode, and appears only in edit mode. how to solve this?
Can I get a download of the dog?
how the hell do i apply the modifier? i have it the way i want it but my materials do not show up when i have the modifier on
Add-ons can only be applied in object mode. Are you in object or edit mode? click inside the screen so that it's active and then press 'tab' to toggle between object mode and edit mode.
Hello, I recover an OBJ file from a scan.
I want to make a remesh while keeping the texture. Is it possible and how?
Thanks in advance.
I think you can't but I'm still new to blender. I guess if you remesh everything then uv mapping faces will be more easy then before anyway.
how to download th addon
what happened to the textures zuckerberg v2?
YES you said it ! Nasty models from SUp's 3Dwarehouse...
Sigh....yup
Looks like a .stl to me. So maybe the problem is just the fotmat.
hello
when i use voxel remesh my pc lags fsr and i have a brand new 3060 aof 12gb and 16gb ram any solution please
Meshes would be a CPU operation, make sure blender has CPU priority and double-check your core affinity for the program.
The cube one was the only thing that worked
1:38 And this is kids... how Minecraft was created
We've solved it!
Fucking love you
Almost ! but still not that, whatever the options it's still uglier than the original, I'm looking to remesh a character, I'll find it eventually! it's crazy the number of tutorials that can be found on the same function with different solutions, but so far, nothing convincing for complex shapes.
mark zuckerberg?
that's not remesh, it's a modifier
