i think the initial gshock square and the modern version are not the same. In first promo materials they talked about some additional cushioning between case and shell, and in modern we don't see it
You dropped a gshock on the earth. If you really wanted to test the durability, try dropping the eatth on the gshock, and then step it up until the Casio actually breaks.

If I remember correctly, there was a drop from 20m, one from 30m, and a few from 40m. I think most of them survived, but one or two broke enough to not be legible, if they still worked. Depends a lot on how exactly they landed. If they land face down, it's particularly brutal. All I got from this is that G-Shock needs to step up its strap game
But only if their customers regularly drop them from a fucking helicopter lol
It's drop from 30m tf you expect. Try it with timex or st from 10m
Was it a spring bar failure or did the resin case / lugs crack?
Very Valid question 👌

Yeah I was thinking the same
You didn't Know Casio watch is a god tier watch.
So if i fall from 40m my gshocks gonna be alright 🤔
And it's accurate, zero seconds a year. Two time zones, a stop watch, it hardly scratches.
Nokia type beat
I’ve got the same watch on right now. I never take it off.

What about a skydweller?

Clean , simple , affordable, reliable and durable
For sure. Casio will always be on top and be the God among watches.
Well, I guess the forensic pathologist won't be able to tell time of death from the watch
Next a Vostok Amphibia, they are known to be indestructible

g shock vs luminox
They can’t take the shock of a bad battery change, where they will start fogging
Don't worry you watch will survive even when you not

There is just not 1 watch in the world that is a "TOUGH" watch if it has springbars... Screws for the wristband or go home...
