Wow! Humbled to be included in your 5 brands you should know about. We appreciate the shout out. We've been at it for 10 years and we're just getting started! Can't wait to show you what we've been working on lately. Exciting creations launching soon.
The Hyperspace is beautiful, the sort of watch I'd wear if I was going to try and make the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs. The Halograph 3 is a stunner. Thanks for being different
So awesome to see you giving Xeric some love! I have several of them, and no watch brand I own has stuck up more conversations for sure. Please continue this series! Great to learn about small brands that don’t get much airspace on YT.
I didn’t expect to really see much that I liked here (if it’s under $1000, it’s Hamilton or Seiko for me), but those Xerics are really something. I love crazy designs, innovative ways of looking at and telling the time. Usually you have to go up to companies like MB&F to see really funky things, but Xeric looks like it’s offering some very cool stuff at affordable prices, and while I have a collection of mostly classic model black dial sports and dive from mainstream luxury watchmakers, the Xerics are very appealing. Even if I never end up buying anything like that, I’m certainly glad it exists.
Hey Teddy, thank you for introducing Cincinnati watches to me. I just checked their store and really love the "Concourse Campagne". Unfortunately Cincinnati has no European retailers, therefore a ~1000€ watch turns into a ~1300€ watch, due to import taxes. I might stick with my recently set targeted watch then, a Mido Ocean Star, which is also in the 1000€ price range.
Love it when you cover microbrands more in-depth! The standard Rolex/Omega/Tudors are excellent watches, but a tad boring from a collector’s viewpoint. In that regard, micros are so much more interesting, offering more fun per dollar, imho. 😉
I agree. I love most Rolex/Omega/Tudor. They are iconic and will be a staple in my collection. But seeing these obscure pieces of art that I had no idea existed. So exciting.
I have a Xeric Vendetta (58 of 100, supposedly) and a Halograph 2. They have Seiko movements and match accuracy with my various Seiko's. I did have to send the vendetta in for a manufacturing defect, during COVID no less, but their support was pretty darn good! I really like their unique take on watches and would recommend them!
I own a Xeric Halograph II Automatic and a Trappist-1 American Moonphase. They sure do garner a lot of attention when I wear them, they're definitely not watches you want to wear when trying to be discreet. I would very much like to see this as a series, would be nice to have some ideas to for adding some more unique designs to my collection.
This is my fave Teddy B. episode yet... why? These are all beautiful watches i would have never have heard of otherwise! wish i could buy one of each :)
Great video. Maybe make it one day a month when you showcase these type of watches. I think it breaks it up from the regular watches we see all the time. It's great to know what else is out there at decent quality.
Nice video, love seeing the more affordable watches. Would love to see your opinion about Henry Archer, they make great watches between 500-1000 bucks. I got the Akva Meteorite and absolutely love it!
Agree, love a continuation of watch brands under $1000 and perhaps another series below $2000. Dietrich is another worth looking into as well as Mark’s Islander watches👍🏼
As a native of Cleveland and graduate of Miami U, it would be hard for me to wear that... But I probably would. As a graduate of The OSU, I would say don't EVER preview a yellow and blue watch!! BTW, I have a beautiful scarlet and gray Hamilton diver that is awesome and accurate.
I have 2 xerics, an emerald triptych and a halograph II. I can’t recommend them enough, phenomenal quality and looks. By far my favorite watches in my collection, they also spark the most conversations out of all the watches I own as well.
I got a great deal on the triptych with the lapis lazuli dial. Looks great and interesting ofc but since they were asking $1300 retail I would expect a little bit better quality leather strap.
@@moneymikz yeah they had some crazy deals a few months back! And completely agree that the strap is definitely the weakest aspect, but still decent quality
@@xericwatches you’re right ice cold sapphire front and back, I was thinking of one of my other 30 watches lol. And thank you for the refreshing honesty about the strap, keep up the good work.
Xeric was a surprise! Great video - make it a series. Brand that will fit the category is echo/neutra - they have a quite stunning moonphase - AVERAU 39 Moon phase “Big Moon” White under $1000.
Xeric deserves much more time. The vendetta and invertor lines from them are truly what makes them special. Additionally the halograph has many models with way better colorways.
Yes I would love to see more of these videos. I am a big fan of the Cincinnati watch company they offer good value for a good price. I own their field watch the P40 pilots watch and their new Guild watch in gold. I also have a small collection of vintage Gruen watches.
Definitely invested in continuing this series. I was also happy to see Damasko in the last upload as it’s my daily beater. It was also nice to learn about another brand other than Christopher Ward that has made a modern supercompressor diver Current favorite of this particular upload is the beaubleu. Loving learning about these more obscure designs and brands
Always love watching your videos. I'm a newbie to the world of horology despite owning a few of the big branded wrist candy's. But do love learning about various mirco bands and how they bring creativity and fun into a rather serious world of wrist watch. Keep up the good work and please do more videos on micro brands and may be your views on micro brand watchs which ones may become niche classic collector watchs in the future.
Teddy don't be dissing on Skyline Chili 🤨 but I must say the Cincinnati Watch Company's Union Terminal Automatic Black Special Edition is a fantastic piece😎 by all means this theme is a keeper 😁
I've got an old Gruen Precision Day Date, used to be my grandpa's! Don't remember the last time I heard Gruen mentioned randomly in a watch video! Don't know exactly what year it is, but probably late 50's, since it still has Radium lume. Needs some work, should get that done while I can.
I have a new driver from Nite Watches, a UK company. I bought the Alpha and love it. In addition, free shipping got the watch to me in perfect condition from UK in 48 hours. Very bright blue lume. Another brand I'm exploring is LIV. Swiss made watches and ships free from Miami, FL. My watch is being delivered tomorrow. Continue this series if you can. From one Cleveland/Akron bro to another.
Thank you Teddy for this excellent video. It's very important to talk about independent, less known brands and affordable watches. Most of the watch enthusiasm starts to buy their first serious watch at 500$ and below. We want these small watch manufacturers to survive. Again thank you.
Hello Teddy, Paulin, Beaubleu, Cincinnatti, Circula and, of course, are rather well know micro brands. And it whas a pleasure to hear you taking about them. Thanks you.
This is interesting. In your video with Marc you said “today we will not discuss micro brands”. That said, there are times when you just want to have some fun, put on your purple Converse hi tops, mirrored sunglasses and sport a watch like a Beaubleu or a Xeric. Kudos Teddy.
Of course, like most people on your channel have watched for years, but this is one of the best series I’ve seen. There were four companies I’ve never heard of and they had some very unique ideas. (Although one of them looks like the Copernicus). Good job as usual.
Great subject! Two brands that I don’t think are known to people outside of the Nordic’s are the Swedish brands Sjöö Sandström and Bravur. They’re high end/Luxury watches but not crazy expensive.
I bought a watch from amzwatch lightly used for my last milestone birthday. Don't wear it as much as it deserves, but not afraid to, either. It's stunning . Good taste, Sir.
Would love to see this as a continued series
This would make a fun and important series.
Love this series!
Me too
I second that!! So many great micros and independents that deserve the spotlight.

Love the series. I personally own two Xeric watches for the past three years. Really love this series and would love to learn about new brands.
Would love to see more in this series, and I appreciate that they’re not all manufactured by brands that you sell.
I have two watches from Cincinnati Watch Company and I 100% recommend them!
This series is very good.
Please make several parts.
Yes, more of this please! I love being introduced to brands that hang out under the radar, especially affordable ones.
Nice dig at Skyline Chili 😁
More of these please. And I like Cincy Chili, Skyline for 3 way, Gold Star for coneys!
Please continue with more of these videos. It's great to see innovative watches coming from smaller brands.

Really enjoyed this… caused me to take another look at Paulen. I appreciate that you’re shining a light on all the makers not just the ones you sell.
Love Cincinnati Watch Company! They make a great watch for the price!
I love the geometry on the beaubleu face
I have a vintage Raketa Copernica with a similar design language, using a gold circle for the hour and a hollow circle for the minute hand.
@@matthemming9105 I just looked it up, that’s a good looking watch too
it's nice to hear about smaller, lesser-known, but still legitimate brands. I met the people behind Xeric recently at my first watch event.
Introducing new and under appreciated brands has always been Teddy’s grove. Love it.
Been waiting for Xeric to get some screen time. Love my Invertor
Love this as a series. It’s exciting to see there are really so many awesome watch brands out there that dont break your bank.
I own a Xeric Halograph II Automatic and a Trappist-1 American Moonphase. They sure do garner a lot of attention when I wear them, they're definitely not watches you want to wear when trying to be discreet.

Great idea! There's so much out there that we would never know about without videos like this.
Would love for this to be a series! Keep it going especially with spotlighting obscure brands that make affordable pieces!
This is my fave Teddy B. episode yet... why? These are all beautiful watches i would have never have heard of otherwise! wish i could buy one of each :)
This is a great series idea. Thanks for being willing to continue this type of content.
Continue the series. It's good to see what all is out there
The circula compressor isn’t just styled as a compressor. It’s a true compressor. Love the series. Keep it going!
Would love to see this as a series!
Definitely please keep this as a series
My favourite kind of videos from Teddy. I love discovering new brands.
Please continue this format of highlighting little known watches. I find this fascinating and so much fun!
I like this series. The Xeric brand has so many unique attention-grabbing watches 🔥 thank you!!
Great showcases. We need more interesting watches instead of another black bay or moonwatch.
Preach
Would love to see more of this. Also, my buddy from Cincy curses your name for that Skyline dig!
Great video. Maybe make it one day a month when you showcase these type of watches. I think it breaks it up from the regular watches we see all the time. It's great to know what else is out there at decent quality.
Teddy: Great video. Thanks. Please do continue.
That shade thrown on Skyline is unforgivable.
the purple one looks awesome
I'd love to see you continue this series, up and down the price points. 500, 1500 etc.
Nice video, love seeing the more affordable watches. Would love to see your opinion about Henry Archer, they make great watches between 500-1000 bucks. I got the Akva Meteorite and absolutely love it!
❤ this was a really fun video. Enjoyed seeing a lot of stuff that I had never seen before. I think it would be great to continue the series.
Definitely continue this series! Curious about your thoughts on Venezianico.
Agree, love a continuation of watch brands under $1000 and perhaps another series below $2000.
Dietrich is another worth looking into as well as Mark’s Islander watches👍🏼
Love this video Teddy, there are so many amazing watch brands and you showcased some fantastic ones.

😂😂😂 cursing the world with skyline chili. I literally literally laughed out loud. That was awesome.
Hi, I am definitely interested in more of this type of video. I found it very interesting and informative. 👍
I’ve been following Cincinnati watch company for a few years now. Not ready to pull the trigger on one, but I do respect them.
xeric watches are incredible.. Wonder why they haven't been covered much on any RUclips channels..
