My dog has been wearing her G Shock for a little over two years. It's been through the washing machine and it's been on all her adventures. It hasn't had as hard a time as your watch has, of course, but it's obvious they are tough and reliable time pieces. Hard not to love a G Shock. Thanks for the video.
@@sabhay7746 No, I don't mind you asking. To keep a long story long......... Russel The Mad Watch Collector was reviewing a special Bamford edition of a GW-6900. He said that every man and his dog owned a GW-6900 but these Bamford ones were harder to find, or something like that. And I thought to myself, "Self, my dog doesn't have one and it's unfair that, as a watch collector, my dog didn't have her own watch." And so I got onto the confuser and sought out the cheapest G Shock I could find on the net which turned out to be a DW-6900 with the mirror dial and negative display. I bought some Jays and Kays adapters and fitted it to her collar. She's a ten year old greyhound and she attracts lots of attention with her pink collar and G Shock watch. I did the right thing and left the hourly chime turned off.

Ahhm the G-Shock squares are tougher, particularly with 5000u (I drove my truck over it when it fell out on my driveway and I could not find it for a few days, then I did and it works great.) I would like to see the GDB-200 tested.
Hello! I would love to see how the case and the PVD coating on it held up. See what a heavily worn PVD case looks like. Any chance of a follow up video/photos of the watch case?
They are indestructible! I like how they looks after all the tests! Scratched they looks cooler and more brutal! Can you sell them to me after all the tests?
Depends what you’re looking for, if you want visibility go 5600, but as for comfort idk(the 2100 is lighter), but durability is debatable, on one hand the 2100 has a carbon core, but the 5600 had a lot of thought and design put into it compared to more modern g shocks. Also the 5600 can come in solar/atomic and Bluetooth if you want, but the 2100 only has solar and Bluetooth. Finally most color ways of rhe 2100 come with negative displays
The 2100 is thinner on the wrist, but it has a less pronounced bezel so the glass can get bashed up easier. They're both very tough but the 5600 is probably slightly tougher, but the 2100 is probably more comfortable for a lot of people.
Seeing what the watch can/can't handle, plus it's fun! For the G-Shock I went more extreme, but usually it's a slightly dramatic/somewhat realistic series of tests. I don't get paid, that would be cool though lol
My god , being an ownner of casio gshock gab2100 , it felt like a slaughter
which watch is this specifically in the video? The GM2100BB or GA2100? I cant tell
@@LouRivelliniit’s the gm2100bb, the bezel and case shine like metal whereas ga2100 is full resin
Casio is the Nokia of Watches
And Toyota in car sense

Nice take, but wouldn' t the other way around, given launc dates? Maybe Nokia is the G-Schock of the mobile phones 😂
Don't know why but I think the font of their logos matches as well. Casio & Nokia.
@@devasheeshsharma2519 I didnt even realize before you told me but if you put nokia and casio logo side to side it looks really similar
The man will break before the watch does.
I submerged one of my old G-Shocks in a bowl of water and put it in the freezer for a week. Came out working perfectly.

After 7 years my gshock decided to part ways with me while surfing
Did it fall off? Or simply that the water seals had worn out over the years? You can always get the seals redone at a watch shop after a few years
It fell off.... looked like the band broke where it is joined to the actual face @najh1997
Don't worry when divers find it a few thousand years later it'll still tell the time
